Ha, thanks! I worked way hard with trying to get everything in this chapter as close to perfect as I could. LOL, I didn't do too much thinking when it came to the chapter name...I just put down the first thing that popped into my head when I re-read it. :P Glad you like it, though! :dance:

Okay, I've FINALLY gotten this chapter done!! About time...evil writer's block. <_< Anyway, I don't really like how this chater turned out, but I suppose it's okay. As for the title...I was listening to "She Blinded Me With Science" by Thomas Dolby, and the title is taken from one part in the song. The actual line is "Good Heavens, Miss Sakamoto! You're beautiful!", for anyone who's interested (it's a weird song, I know).



Chapter Fifteen: Good Heavens, Miss Vortex! You're brilliant!

CINDY: And just what is this plan?

**Future Cindy glances at her younger counterpart before pulling out a few sheets of paper. She carefully lays them out on the coffee table. The first one displays a sketch of Nathan’s lair and the others are filled with various notes. She taps the first one gently with her fingertip.**

FUTURE CINDY: This is Nathan’s lair. He doesn’t pay too much attention to security, so it should be easy for us to --

CINDY (interrupting): To what? Get caught? I really don’t think this is the best plan. We need to think of something ingenious. Something that won’t get us caught. I couldn’t sleep last night, so I came up with a plan.

LIBBY: Girl, why were ya up all night? Were ya worried about a certain someone named, oh, I don’t know, Jimmy?

CINDY (nervously): Um, that’s not important! Anyway, my plan is that we use Carl and Sheen as diversions and you, Libby and I could rescue them.

SHEEN: Wait a minute! Me and Carl aren’t gonna be anything we can’t spell! Right Carl?

CARL: I don’t know. Being a diversion sounds fun!

**Noticing this opportunity, Cindy and Libby smile at each other mischievously.**

CINDY: It IS! You get to…“entertain” Nathan while Libby, my future self and I rescue Jimmy and his future self.

LIBBY: C’mon, we need you two to help us. (Turns to Sheen) You’ll be a hero, Sheen. You’ll be my hero.

**Cindy and Libby pause and look at Carl and Sheen. Carl seems to be thinking of what he could do to entertain someone, and Sheen strikes a heroic pose as he thinks about Libby proclaiming him as her hero after he helps.**

SHEEN: I’m in! I’ll do anything that’ll help me be mi reina’s hero!

CARL: You mean I’ll actually get to help?

FUTURE CINDY: Yes, both of you would be a tremendous help with this. But if you guys don’t want to be heroes…

SHEEN: We wanna be heroes! Like Ultralord!! Right Carl?

CARL: Could I be like Ultralord’s llama sidekick, Carlito?

SHEEN (groans): For the last time, Ultralord has no need for a sidekick. Except for his lovely assistant crime fighter, Ultralady.

**Sheen looks over to Libby and blows her a kiss. Libby, on the other hand, just sighs as she watches him.**

LIBBY: Alright, are you two gonna help me and my girl Cin and her future self? Or are ya gonna stay here and argue ‘bout whether or not Ultralord needs a sidekick?

SHEEN: I’m going! After all, who else will impress Libbylicious with their awesome distracting abilities?

CARL: And I’ve always wanted to be a hero!

CINDY: Okay, so we’ve got Ultra-Loser and Llamaboy as our “foolproof” team for distracting Nathan. Now, I was thinking that we could go in while Nathan’s distracted, rescue Jimmy and his future self and get out as quickly as possible.

**Gathering her papers, Future Cindy stands up.**

FUTURE CINDY: Yes, we don’t need to be in there anymore than we need to. We’ll do this later tonight. After all, it’s not like we can sneak into his lair, unnoticed, in broad daylight.

LIBBY: That’s true.

CINDY: Yeah, it’ll need to be dark for this to go as planned. (Whispers) I really hope this works.

LIBBY: It will, girl. Nothing can go wrong.

Anyway, back on topic! That was great, April! :thumbsup: I actually thought it was GREAT!

But I have a question, was Sheen and Carl going to be the distractions (I don't know if I spelled that right...) in Future Cindy's plan? And why did she just suddenly go along with it? And why didn't Cindy want to hear her OWN plan (future self's)?
