Jee'zum crow, why is Mara's fanfic featured if mine isn't? It's so unfair!
The answer: cause I'm the moderator, and I CAN, that's why! Woohoo! Gotta love the unfair advantages of owning your own site!

Anyway, The Other Side of Tomorrow is FINALLY up ...well, the first volume anyway. I haven't actually finished with the author's notes yet, but I'll add them eventually. In the meantime, you can read the first 30 pages of my fic (that's chapters 1-9, for those of your who are chapter-inclined).

Admittedly, this is probably the most boring part of my fanfic , considering not a lot happens and the character development is only so-so. Plus I wrote it a year ago, and my writing has since improved. However, if you can overlook its faults I think you'll enjoy it...and you'll enjoy the later volumes even more!

But while you wait for said installments, leave any comments you may have for me here. Discuss the fic, pick out your fave characters, make predictions, etc....but if you HAVE been reading the fic on Nickelodeon, don't give away what happens! Naughty people! Remember, I'm a huge attention hog when it comes to my writing, so go on and chat it up about my fic! I'll just be sitting here blushing and giggling like crazy that you're actually READING something I wrote.

In other news, not that it is anywhere near as exciting as TOSOT itself, I did just send Mara my short one-shot for her to peruse. So if she approves it, and once I fix it up, I will post it.

I'm kinda excited, in a dorky way, cuz this is my first angsty one-shot. Usually I aim for humor, lol. We'll see if I can actually write something of substance without jokes to distract people from my sub-par writing abilities...

Trust me, when it comes to "serious" stuff, I'm actually quite rotten at it. By my standards at least. Lots of room for improvement. My writing abilities fit far more in with a younger audience who can enjoy watching someone fall in poop, lol.

In any case, Mara sent me an AWESOME edit of the one-shot, and I think with further tweaking, it should be acceptable to post.
