[Mara=^.^=]

The Other Side of Tomorrow is FINALLY up :ahoy: ...well, the first volume anyway. I haven't actually finished with the author's notes yet, but I'll add them eventually. In the meantime, you can read the first 30 pages of my fic (that's chapters 1-9, for those of your who are chapter-inclined). :lol:

Admittedly, this is probably the most boring part of my fanfic :bock: , considering not a lot happens and the character development is only so-so. -_- Plus I wrote it a year ago, and my writing has since improved. However, if you can overlook its faults I think you'll enjoy it...and you'll enjoy the later volumes even more! :thumbsup:

But while you wait for said installments, leave any comments you may have for me here. Discuss the fic, pick out your fave characters, make predictions, etc....but if you HAVE been reading the fic on Nickelodeon, don't give away what happens! Naughty people! Remember, I'm a huge attention hog when it comes to my writing, so go on and chat it up about my fic! I'll just be sitting here blushing and giggling like crazy that you're actually READING something I wrote. *.*

Lol! I definitely love the first volume. I'll have to go stalking off for the other parts on Nick.com. xD Awesome descriptions! I'm not fond of the screenplay version of writing, but I think you pulled it off extremely well. ^_^

And don't worry, I'm the same way with my writing. I love when people give me nice comments. It absolutely makes my day. xD

P.S. The most boring? Oo;; Well then, I can't WAIT for Volume 2 (Feburary? DANGIT)

Well, MAYBE I'll be merciful and post the next section in January instead of February 1st, like I had planned. Sadly, going to Nick.com will do you NO good, since the first 30 chapters of my story were UNCEREMONIOUSLY deleted and if you read where my fanfic starts out there you would have missed a huge section of the story.

I just read Volume 1. I love it!!! You captured the characters really well; especially Sheen, I actually laughed out loud a few times. "On your marks...get set...Snow!" :lol: I actually could picture it as an actual episode, with the exception that it's much darker than most of the content we've seen in JN thusfar. Great descriptions (especially of the new planet...nice to visualize) and believable dialouge that really fit the characters.

I feel bad for Jimmy, it's kind of Cindy's fault for spraying the stuff on him in the first place. I'm a little confused actually...are their future selves actually them in the future or their alternate universe selves in the future? Because if something different happened at Libby's birthday party in Aurora's life than in the current JN crew's, then wouldn't Aurora not technically be the real older Cindy? Did what I just wrote even make sense? :P

Oh well, either way I really like it and I can't wait to read the rest. ^_^

LOL, yes, what you wrote did make sense.

To answer your question, Aurora, the dictator, and the others are NOT actually the kids in the future. They are the kids' alternate-universe selves in the future. The only reason Aurora and the others are older is because time passes faster in this alternate universe than it does in the kids' regular universe. So technically they're more like the current JN gang's alternate selves rather than their future selves, if that makes any sense. They just HAPPEN to be older.
So ya, since something different happened at Future Libby's birthday party in Aurora's universe, Aurora is technically not Cindy's future self. She is another version of Cindy, in a different lifetime in a different universe. The whole discussion of the kids' relationship to these alternate selves will be discussed further into the story, since it does provide some SERIOUS conflict for the kids. You'll see what I mean...eventually.

Try not to overthink the concept...all this multiverse theory stuff can make your head spin. When I initially did the research, I thought my mind would explode. So try not to dig too deeply into the alternate universe subject...or I might go off on a massive tangent about weird astrophysics theories, and you wouldn't want that, would you?

I REALLY hope I get into my top choice school...oh please oh please... It's a writing school, so hopefully they feel the same way about my abilities as you do. o:)

Bummer! I just did "topic of my choice" to avoid writing 4 different essays. I'm also considered the human spellcheck, so editing services weren't required. However, I totally feel your college app-induced pain. Ewww.

Omg, Mara, you know how your fanfic's abbreviation is TOST? Well, that sounds like testosterone to me and if my predictions are correct, Jimmy will be facing Dictator Jimmy which would be a like a "battle of testosterone." :lol: ....sorry, I just thought that was cute. :P

Actually, I prefer the acronym to be "TOSOT" which include the "of" in The Other Side of Tomorrow. I like TOSOT because it's a palindrome (spelled the same both forwards and backwards) and you CAN'T get much cooler than that. ;)
Nevertheless, that was some humorous commentary on the battle of the testosterone. It's only too true...unless of course Jimmy isn't the one to fight the dictator in the end... OHHHH? Dun dun dun!!!
