So, I took that quiz "Which character are you in Mara's JN fanfic, The Other Side of Tomorrow?". It was funny, I knew where it was going, I am Future Libby! It's all true, except for the jewelry part of course. XD

OK, I posted the next installment. It's only a couple of pages long, but it ends the chapter and I felt it could stand on its own:click

I feel like I should apologize for this section somehow...I think it's more of a reflection of my own existential struggle than something 11 and 12 year olds would actually say.

Then again, I could be wrong. Maybe in the right situation kids would think about this. Jimmy certainly would.

Anyway, interpret the end of the chapter any way you want. It could be college student Mara having issues with religion, it could be a genuine moment of contemplation in a story rife with these sort of bigger life questions.

Hopefully it's the latter.

Being a college student means everyone sits up all night either goofing off or pondering the meaning of life. I think it's starting to affect my view of the universe. Then again, I've been struggling for years with the concept of science vs. religion. I've always hoped they were compatible, because there's no way anyone's gonna convince me the world is 10,000 years old...or that things always work out for the best.

This chapter was a HORRIBLE example of the author's life issues influencing the plotline. I'll try not to let it happen again.

Oh, good. That means I got that question right on the TOSOT quiz :P Haha, no I'm kidding. I mean, that's not the only reason I'm happy. But, its true. I didn't even know you specified, I just took a guess at it, 'cause it seemed to make the most sense, especially out out of the choices.

It was natural and it was very well written, I love this little installment and I'm glad you wrote it. I'm happy that TOSOT isn't just another cheap senseless TV adventure. They definitely had to speak about these things, if they are not completely stupid. When I was a teenager, I thought about these things too.

Since my main interest is Christian philosophy, I can talk about such things. Not a very long time ago I had really interesting conversations with atheists and scientists on one forum. I think, I was able to make a good point there. If you mean Supreme God, not human superstitions, then nothing in Him contradicts science, or is illogical.

Wait until I send you the chapter about Aurora's capture, I'll touch the question about God too.
