Well, well, well, Madamemoiselle Mara. You've outdone yourself yet again. I believe Athena and Laura have pretty much covered the "epichuge commentary" quota on this installment, so I'll keep mine as brief as possible.

I'd also like to say that you paint very vivid pictures in the reader's mind with your word choice and your descriptions. I couldn't even call this "fanfiction" anymore. One expects fanfiction to have a certain crudeness to it, and by crude I mean hurriedly thought out and written for the sake of writing and updating. For all the work you have put into TOSOT, to call it a fanfiction would just be wrong. It's been elevated to another level of writing altogether. Save for the fact that it IS based on the JN universe, this could easily be a highly compelling stand-alone work of writing.


As always, I eagerly await the next update. And take your time. As I believe I've said before on this topic, you can't rush art.

Totally amazing. I agree with the earlier comment on how this is easier on Aurora, but I'm interesting in seeing how the kids take this. I love the updates, and I am seriously looking forward to seeing how non-Dictator-ish Jimmy is like. A confrontation between DJ and jimmy would be awesome as well. (really, I've been looking forward to that since the beginning) Amazing job!

edit: Adding on, I just realized something. Wouldn't it be something if the device jimmy invented in the beginning of the story didn't move them to an alternate dimension but the future? And the only reason they're there is because after they un-dictatored DJ he changed the past( w/one of his inventions) so that Betty wasn't at the birthday party making everything the way it was. Okay this entire idea may just be because I really wanted Naz to still be alive, but still- . Even though this entire thought is just a huge paradox, but HEY- I can live with it.

So, yeah. I haven't commented on TOSOT of ages, because of my apparent lapse of sanity in temporarily leaving this awesome place. But I am back now, and simply must comment on this last chapter, because... wow. Just wow, Mara. This isn't even fanfic anymore. It's a work of art.

I seriously loved the fight scene. It was so realistic, and it completely distroyed all my expectations of it (in the good way, lol), because it was so. Darn. Epic. I mean, seriously. It was so awesome, I nearly cried. And to think, I almost missed out on reading it because I haven't been on here in so long! *sigh* I'm so glad I came back when I did!

Future Sheen and Future Libby: How can you make hitting someone over the head with a chunck of metal so darn romantic! For a second, I was really convinced he was going to hurt her-- in a very bad way-- but then it all pulled together and I was like: "SQUEE! LOVE PREVAILS! HUZZAH!!" completely out loud. I'm serious. My mother gave me the biggest look of "WTF?" I've ever seen.

What I'm trying to say here is... uh... "You are the supreme ruler of my universe?" "I love you more than life itself?" "Without you, the world would be in tatters because of the lack of TOSOT?" "I think you are a fantastic, awe-inspiring writer, and can't wait for the end of the story, even though I kind of don't want to end to happen because I don't want it to end at all because it's so freaking awesome?"

...That last one about sums it up.

A wank can also be something along the lines of a whiny, emotionally constipated, annoying person...rather like a "dick" can be a synonym for jerk as well as its other, more anatomical connotation
