It doesn't have any hidden meaning. It's just a pic that came up when I google-image searched "breakfast of champions".

P.S. Unless you're wondering what the french text means...in which case, it says "He has 2 hours to save...his garage!"

My guess at what that French speak means is: "I don't understand that." "Me, neither."

I'd like to learn French... I speak English and German (though I'm not very good at both hehehe) and Portuguese, of course (since I'm from Brazil)
but French is just so.... BEAUTIFUL!

ps: Aurora's eyes scared me (so did that creepy-green blood)

I wanted to learn French in high school, but my mom said to me, "Spanish is in higher demand. More countries speak Spanish than French and a lot of companies are looking for people who speak Spanish." So I took Spanish, minored in Spanish in college, and now I teach Spanish to preschoolers.

woah!!! you teach Spanish??? that is SO cool!!! I've never liked grammar and stuff, but now that I'm studying linguistics I think I've fallen in love with spanish grammar! It's actually preatty easy! On the contrary, in school I used to love English and I was pretty good in my grammar classes but not because I knew the theory, but because I knew like subconsiously and usually the answers were correct. Now I have to lear every sintactic rule and it drives me CRAZY! That's why I won't be an English teacher, I would hate it. But I'd LOVE to teach Spanish to foreigners! Here in Ecuador there are SO MANY Spanish schools and I'd love to work there! Of course that would be after I graduate from translation!

Anyway, I came here to talk about my catching up on TOSOT and got MAJORLY distracted by languages (I just LOVE linguistics!). The thing is that OMFG!!! I just read the last three chapters (I'm supposed to be doing an essay on A Rose for Emily) non-stopingly in awestruck wonder. That was, like, the BEST fight scene EVER! I could feel it with every ounce of my body. It had me at the edge of my chair since I began reading it. Although, after FC said he would help, the outcome of the situation up to here was a bit predictable; the fighting part, the dialogues, the exact moment of FS and FL's entrance, Aurora's outbursts and moments of insight, and the fact that everything was so calculated, so perfectly coordinated and yet it wasn't like that at all, made it EPIC and not at all dull. All your descriptions made it feel so real, as if I was right there in the middle of the battle or, if not that close, then at least it was like watching a movie on IMAX 3D! LOL

I can't believe how it all ended. I want next chapter ASAP! I want to finish this fanfic now! I can't wait to read what's coming next.

oh, BTW, you used the word 'regard' several times, like three or something like that, maybe I just noticed the word because I like it or maybe a synonym would be necessary...but then again, check it yourself because, as I pointed out, I may have just noticed it since I like that word and it reminds me of its french equivalent...

Signing off, with love, excitement, a bit of adrenaline rush and a lot of procrastination,

o:) Andre.@r o:)

I'm currently taking both grade 10 French and grade 11 German at my high school, mostly because they are the only two languages (other than English, which is manditory, and French is manditory up to grade 9) they offer. I'm going to take Spanish and Latin in university if I can, as well as French, German, and English-- If I have four languages before third year uni, I can apply for a scholarship to the interrepter's secialty university in Geneva for a semester abroad. I'm planning on majoring in World Languages and minoring in English Liturature. :bunny:

I think French is my favourite langauge, though. It sounds really pretty when you have good pronounciation.

P.S. I am a little surprised April doesn't have more blood on her. I guess she was quick to kill off anyone that dared come her way, and barely got touched, huh?

Or the blood is just mostly on her front, which would make more sense anyway

Oh right! I forgot to mention my two favorite parts of these chapters:

One is when Aurora said: you miscalculated or something like that, it reminded me of Azula. Oh I loved that episode! That part specially, and here it was sooo cool!

Second, when DJ is giving in to the antidote and then Aurora said end game, it reminded me of Light's death. So epic! loved it.

I believe that is a given.

Btw, little known fact: During Aurora's capture by DJ, one of his favorite torture methods was waterboarding. Carl never did figure out just why all the white t-shirts kept disappearing from the laundry basket.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

Katie, when TOSOT's all over, you NEED to write some kind of 10-year, on-going blog called "DJ's Fun Facts" for Mara to put in the extras section. They could be similar to all the awesome stuff like this that you post, and oh so clever. I'd love them!
