Holes! Holes is amazing! My favorite book to movie adaptation, hands down. Extremely faithful and just a great movie in its own right. How to Train Your Dragon is also amazing, but the movies and TV show are so drastically different from the books that I'm not sure they really count.

Yes! Holes is fantastic! Though they are quite different, I love both the book and the movie version of Jurassic Park.

Anyone reading any interesting books lately? I started a new one. Another novel by Mary Higgins Clark of course.

Wow you read a lot of books, Katie! Impressive! How do you manage to read so many books that quickly? I love to read but I don't think I could read that many books in so short a time.

Oh well that explains things then. Me, I prefer to read books but audiobooks don't sound too bad.

The book I am reading now is another Mary Higgins Clark book called The Christmas Thief. All of her books are so good.

I hope you don't mind me posting here a lot and talking to you about books. This will most likely be my most posted in topic on here.

almost at my goal for the year! :)

Woot! I'm more than halfway to mine. I set it to 24 this year, since I haven't been able to meet my larger goals the last couple of years and I've got a baby now. But Tim and I have been listening to a lot of audio books, so I've actually made good progress. He wanted to listen to The Way of Kings, and then we decided to just make our way through the entire Cosmere and most of Brandon Sanderson's stuff this year (have you heard about his $34+ million kickstarter? lol). It's been fun!

I also signed Ronan up for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the library. He's read over 40 unique books so far. You're allowed to count the same book multiple times, but we're doing hard mode lol. I want the extra challenge.

That's great, Mary! Audio books are literally the best. :)

And yeah, I just met my goal for the year!

Aww, that sounds like such a fun program for Ronan!

So what books is everyone reading now? Right now I am reading a book called 'The Murder Hole' by Lillian Stewart Carl. It's about a reporter named Jean Fairbarn who travels to Scotland to do an assignment to see if the Loch Ness Monster is real or not but there is also other mysteries in the novel as well such as mysterious deaths and other things. It's pretty good so far.

My husband and I are listening to Six of Crows. It's a reread for me, but first time for him. I've forgotten a lot since I first read it 4-ish years ago.

I just finished Hotel Magnifique. It was all right, a pretty typical YA fantasy in a lot of ways, but the concept was really fun.

Unfortunately, I had a bit of a reading slump over the past few days, but hopefully I can get back into some better habits again.

Still in a bit of a reading slump. But I did read some good ones last month! And today I finished Fevered Star and that was really good!

The past few days have been so good for reading. Of the five book I've read since June started, 4 of them have been four stars or more! And at least two were straight up five stars! This is a great start to June.
