Finally finished all the seasons of Nikita on Netflix. I have to admit that the first part of SSN 3 was a little slower moving, but the second half really stepped up a notch.
What a wonderful series. Those first two seasons especially.
I sense a rewatch in my future.

I don't watch many movies and the last series I watched was MI-5 on Netflix like 3 years ago so it took me a while to remember what I watched last.
MI-5 wasn't bad but if you don't like watching characters you grow attached to die....run away because nobody was safe in that show.... hell in one episode of season 10 they killed a character who had been there for all but like 5 episodes and then right before rolling the credits when you thought the scum responsible was going to walk away it cut to the villains place and an agent who had been discharged in season 2 is seen lurking outside before receiving a kill order. That and at times it did get fairly harsh as far as violence and on more than a few occasions I hoped for the sake of agents caught that their enemies would just shoot them and end it.
As for the last movie I watched it was this god awful movie named.... The Crown and the Dragon.... the plot was garbage, and the director (Anne K. Black) couldn't get anything right. for instance in one scene the rugged hero threw his sword on the ground and dove into the see to escape the big scary bad guy that was after them and then 2 scenes later he pulls out that same frigging sword to fight against his old partner who betrayed him for no reason other that "ooh look at me I'm the generic traitorous turd that everyone hates."
Here are some of the other "hit" titles Anne K. Black's has worked on
Orcs! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1524134/ (trailer on YouTube)
Baptists at our Barbecue http://www.imdb.com/..._=nm_flmg_art_1
Dragonfyre http://www.imdb.com/...=nm_flmg_pdsg_1 (trailer on YouTube)
and my personal favorite so far Dragon Warriors

I am in love with Chris Pratt. ![]()
P.S. Is the movie worth seeing? Or is it lame?
TELL US MARA.

The movie is basically just a tribute to Chris Pratt's awesomeness. If you go into the film with a desire to watch him look cool for 2 hours, you will be satisfied.

Saw Jurassic World, loved it.
Saw Inside Out, loved it. SERIOUSLY RIP MY HEART OUT WHY DON'T YOU.
But in all seriousness, the thing I loved most was the message that it's okay to hurt.
It's okay to be sad.
It's okay to be angry..
These emotions are a part of life.
You don't have to be happy all the time. Just because the world expects you to be. Sometimes life sucks and pain and sadness are just a natural reaction to those things.
When you grow up, you may loose the child you once were, but that makes you a more mature person. Because you grow. You learn.
We need each other. We need to support each other's pain, each other's joys. We just need to support and love each other. There's so much hatred in the world, but it's nice to be reminded that there is love. That there is comfort to be found. There is hope.
There is pain, but there is also joy.
Don't live in one and exclude the other.

So I've seen seven out of the ten available episodes of We Bare Bears now. It's about three bear brothers (a grizzly bear, a panda, and a polar bear) who try to integrate into human society by doing things like pursuing internet fame, starting a food truck, and obsessively using social media. I found out about this show through Tumblr, because of some Gravity Falls fans who also watch. I really like it so far. It's funny and there was actually a little bit of touching backstory for one of the main characters in the seventh episode.
My favorite character is definitely Ice Bear.
Some gifs from the show:

Just watched The H8ful Eight.

It was signature Tarantino, with gristly, over-the-top-violence and gallows humor. Probably the darkest and most off-kilter western I've ever seen. Unlike its spiritual predecessor, Django Unchained, this film was less 'revenge porn' and more 'orgy of ultimately senseless killing'.

I just finished season 1 of Humans on AMC.

This is a hugely underrated show. The overarching concept is familiar - artificially intelligent, human-like androids - but Humans makes it feel fresh thanks to compelling writing and great characters. The actors who play the "synths" (androids) do an impeccable job. They really bring the uncanny valley to life, and it's unsettling and fascinating to watch. I definitely recommend the series to anyone who likes hard scifi.

I just saw Reign Over Me in my Psychology class, starring Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle. It was surprisingly touching, and had some really funny moments as well. The class discussion afterwards was really interesting.
I'm not the biggest Adam Sandler fan (though I don't hate him, like some do), but he was really good in this.

Finally got to see Zootopia in the theater today!

I loved it so much! What a great film. I highly urge you to go see it, even if you saw the trailers and were like "wtf is this? Furries the movie??"
Anyway, I'm back at home now, exhausted and feverish. I definitely overdid it, and I'm going to have to sleep it off all day tomorrow, but I'm still glad I went.

So, I finally saw the first Lord of the Rings film today. The extended cut.
Straight through.
With no pauses.
No pee breaks.
Damn, these are long movies.
Well, 2 more to go.
