I finally saw The Two Towers, the second Lord of the Rings installment.
Goddamn, these are long movies!
Best scene, though.

The Two Towers was my favorite of the books. The Fellowship of the Ring was my favorite movie, though.

I obviously haven't read any of the books, but I think I liked The Fellowship of the Ring film better, too. It was more adventurous and light-hearted, before shit started to seriously go down in this one.
Still, this one finally had Gollum, and everything with Gollum was perfect.

I saw all three movies, but I absolutely hated them cuz they gave me NIGHTMARES, especially the scenes with Gollum in them!!
Funny, I find him to be the best part, and the main thing that kept me from falling asleep last night.

Tolkien is the kind of author that spends 6 pages dicussing scenery.
Based on how long and detailed these movies are, I believe it.

I love all three movies, but Fellowship is my favourite. I did read the first book, but it just kind of bored me (mainly for the reason Cameron stated), so i didn't read the last two.
And yeah, Gollum is one of my favourite characters in any movie.

I knew I would love him, from the clips I'd seen prior, and I was not disappointed.
Well, okay, a little disappointed. He could've had more screen time.
But for the scenes he did have, I was not disappointed.

Saw Rogue One last night, enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. It was like that with The Force Awakens too. I think I'm a bigger Star Wars nerd than I thought. I literally clapped when R2-D2 and C3PO made their appearance. Micah and my mom both laughed at me.

binge watched Stranger Things the last two days with Tim. O. M. GGGGGGG. So good. But also super scary. Frankly I'm surprised I didn't get nightmares yet. Strong urge to fanart....

I need more Groucho Marx in my life.

Also I've been binging on Batman: The Animated Series from the beginning.
Why didn't I start watching this show years ago?

Since we finally got Netflix, I can finally watch Dragons: Race to the Edge, which is the third season/second TV series that takes place between the two How to Train Your Dragon movies. This one takes place three years after the first movie and first two seasons of the show, and two years before the second movie. I really enjoy seeing the "in-between" designs for the characters--most of them have aspects of their designs from the second movie, but so far, none of them have completely transitioned to their second movie designs.
Lemme use Hiccup and Astrid as examples, since I think they're more obviously in limbo between designs than the other characters.
You can see elements from both designs as well as original looks and it's just really cool, okay?
I just really like the character designs. The show keeps getting better as it goes, both in animation/looks as well as storytelling quality. It's put me in such a huge HTTYD mood.

Not sure what the last TV show I saw was, I think it was The Goldbergs.
Last movie I watched was Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. One of my favourite adaptations that's held up surprisingly well over the last 7 years.

The last movie I saw was Juno, for at least the thirtieth time. I never can pass up on watching that when it comes on.
As for TV show, I just finished watching the season finale of The Good Place and it was forking awesome.
I recommend you all watch this show. Those of you in the states can watch it on NBC's site or on Hulu.

I saw The Shop Around the Corner.
Cute and lovely.
If today's romantic comedies were still like this, I would watch them.
