I'm almost positive that there's another topic just like this somewhere on the forums...I'll try to find it and merge them later, but in the meantime, I'd just like to say that I wouldn't have a job right now if not for JN. I only learned Photoshop and Opencanvas and graphic art in general because I wanted to illustrate TOSOT. And as it turns out, my hobby has proved far more useful than my actual degree

P.S. I still have the ticket stub from back when I saw the original movie in theaters when I was 9. I figured that since I wouldn't be on IDOJ if it weren't for that time, its something worth saving in my wallet.

Hey, congrats on all the positive feedback from the professionals! Even if your proposals haven't worked out, it sounds like you're well on your way to becoming a screenwriter. It's very exciting to hear from people and companies that you hold in high esteem that you've done quality work. I'm sure you'll make it if you keep putting forth the effort. Looking forward to some day seeing a new, original series with your name on it.

Xiaolin Showdown- they continued with Xiaolin Chronicles but it was NOWHERE near as good!

And why does it matter so much? You don't know them personally, you don't have to listen to them every second of your life. Let them have their opinion, be the bigger person. Maybe try ignoring them or something, instead of getting revenge?

It's just not a very nice way to live. This isn't a matter of life and death, anyway.

If JC wasn't my ship, I wouldn't mind JB. Of course they're both cliches, the Takahashi Couple and the outcast looking for love with the popular girl.

But I'm confused, why all the talk of physical abuse here? Last I remeber of Cindy hitting Jimmy was slapping him after the dream kiss. And that wasn't that bad considering how other tsunderes act towards their respective love interest. The arguing was pretty bad, but nothing earth shattering. Jimmy doesn't seem to mind it. And at least they mellow out at the end.

Betty could've been a good foil for Cindy and the relationship between her and Jimmy (the contrast between sweet and innocent JB or the heated sparks of JC) so it's sad the writers didn't follow up on it. Betty did give Jimmy up though, in Vanishing Act. So she couldn't have been that interested. That's just my 2 cents.

Not that this topic hasn't been brought up a hundred times before, but...

Don't like it, don't hate it, don't care for it. The show hasn't given away anything about Betty's character that made me interested in her nor gave me any particular reasons to believe that she and Jimmy are a 'match made in heaven'. She's just...there. She's nice, I'd say she's quite smart too, that's it. Of course Jimmy would like her, who wouldn't if they were in his place? But I don't see anything special about his crush that'd spark anything beyond that.

And in theory I think Betty's better off without him. It's hard to stand out next to someone who's as resourceful (and proud) as Jimmy. She doesn't seem the type who'd care much for doing so nonetheless. If she was to get involved with Jimmy and they'd stay the way they interacted in the show, she'd be nothing but the supporting partner in the background, smiling up at the great genius. Once he's won her over, I mean. Which would make me sad, cause I don't think such a role is all too healthy for a young woman.


She can shine on her own.
