Do you not like how some fanfic-writers MAKE Sheen a huge perv?? Just avoid those authors/authoresses, then... There. Problem solved!

Look. I. do. not. know. I don't know! Maybe I did sorta find the alternate demension differences a bit confusion. I wasn't fond of some of the cast too. I mean, I know they were in war, and that may be the whole point of this...but It makes me get upset when everyone seems to be warriors and/or geniuses. I didn't find the jokes to be funny (again, I know I am not the best person at writing either, but it is based off of opinion)
Also, I was upset that there wasn't much of the main group, it was mostly (well, up to where I got) about Aurora, April, and Future Libby.

Here is a thing I have wrong with ALL fanfictions: It isn't supposed to be stupid, I HATE, HATE, HATE it, when Sheen acts like a pervert. He's hit on ANY girls besides Libby about...5 times. I just don't think that Sheen would do some of the stuff he does in ff's.
I might think of more later, and I'll post it when I get to it. But those are some reasons I am not a fan of TOSOT.

Now there's a pretty sweeping statement. ALL fanfics have this problem? Really? All of them? What about ones where Sheen isn't even a character? Please try to be more specific when making claims like this.
I agree with you that I put a little too much Sheen-flirtation in TOSOT, and during subsequent revisions I've tried to go back and change some jokes to non sequitor humor instead. In the defense of people who portray Sheen as hormone-crazy, however, I DO have to say that Sheen makes a LOT of passes at pretty girls in the show. I mean, we're talking Peggy Tsu, Beautiful Gorgeous, Sagebrush Sally, Elke, Libby, AND Dictator Libby. He even buys a book called "How to Impress the Ladies". That doesn't make him a pervert, per se, it just means he has a propensity for hitting on women out of his league
"Pervert" means more along the lines of sticking your hand down someone's pants. "Flirt" would be a better word to describe Sheen's behavior in most fanfiction and in the show itself.

But I kinda get where you're coming from with the storyline mostly being about the future characters. I think that turn happened when she stopped writing to Nick.com's rules, but I may be mistaken. So, as for the rest of your issues, I think that's all just personal preference.

@Seth: I too can understand why you might find that aspect of the storyline uninteresting. Most people don't have a problem with it because hey, it's still TECHNICALLY the kids (just older), but that sort of thing isn't everyone's cup of tea. I'm not offended or anything, but I am glad you finally made it clearer WHY you didn't care for it.

Did TOSOT ever have any editing done to previous chapters that were posted? I read the fanfiction awhile ago when it wasn't finished then read it again recently and noticed there had been a few changes such as Nav's story of Numeria and his sister being condensed.

I think you're remembering what you read in the TOSOT interviews section, where the expanded version of Nav and Laudya's story is posted. A lengthy backstory was never given for them in the main fic itself.

There have been other changes - I cut out a lot of filler material (such as a character saying "uh-huh", or a redundant description, or an unfunny joke) - but nothing that would really impact the story.

In TOSOT, Aurora mentions that she had fought mercenaries as part of the resistance movement and had executed them after they had been taken captive. Do the mercenaries she mentions fall under the control of Dictator Jimmy or do they act independently of him?
