The more I go back and try to fix this monstrosity, the more it's becoming clear that I have an OBSESSION with the word "eyes". For the record, I use that word 352 times in TOSOT. That's more times than I use the relatively common words "or", "see", "go", and "OK". And that's after cutting out as many instances of "eyes" as I could during the first edit. W.T.FFFFFF..

I'm pretty sure I do that in my novel as well. Eyes is definitely one of the most commonly used words. It showed up in my Wordle of the entire manuscript--and I made that in like, February. I'm sure the word will only be larger if I were to make one now

If anyone has noticed that I haven't posted in this topic, is because I read the first three volumes of TOSOT around seven months ago and um...didn't uh...like it?

I never even got to the future Sheen, Jimmy, or Carl...

Anyways, I know you are thinking: "Oh...you couldn't do any better! It's better that yours!" But when you think of it, I've listen to some TERRIBLE writting from kids who don't like Harry Potter...so, I think you can't say that just because someone doesn't like a STORY-LINE it means that they don't like the WRITING ITSELF ... Anyways. I don't know exactly why I didn't like TOSOT, it is just my personal opinion.

I just needed to get that off my cheast...I've been needing to for a long time!

That's fine. What didn't you like about it? It's just as helpful to talk about what doesn't work in a story as it is to talk about what does.

When I reveiewed TOSOT I mentioned that there were a lot of things I really liked, and some things I didn't. I clearly explained the things that didn't really fit my "taste", and what I thought could be done to improve them, if anything (after all, some of it was just pure personal preference and not something that needed fixing))

When you say "certain story lines you are not fond of", I don't really get what you mean. Are you saying you didn't like the PLOT? Was it too complicated/slow-paced/fast-paced/dialogue-heavy/what? Did you not like the cast of characters? The overarching themes? When you post on an author's topic that you don't like their fic, you need to be very clear about WHY. Cuz otherwise how else can they improve?

Also, do you think you'd like TOSOT better now that it's not in script format anymore but is now re-written like an actual book? Cause that was distracting for a lot of people, I know

Look. I. do. not. know. I don't know! Maybe I did sorta find the alternate demension differences a bit confusion.
I wasn't fond of some of the cast too. I mean, I know they were in war, and that may be the whole point of this...but It makes me get upset when everyone seems to be warriors and/or geniuses.
I didn't find the jokes to be funny (again, I know I am not the best person at writing either, but it is based off of opinion)
Also, I was upset that there wasn't much of the main group, it was mostly (well, up to where I got) about Aurora, April, and Future Libby.
Maybe I should finish it...but I just get either bored, or I want to do something else.
Here is a thing I have wrong with ALL fanfictions: It isn't supposed to be stupid, I HATE, HATE, HATE it, when Sheen acts like a pervert. He's hit on ANY girls besides Libby about...5 times. I just don't think that Sheen would do some of the stuff he does in ff's.

You do know Sheen does that in the actual show, right? Peggy Tsu and Beautiful Gorgeous come to mind. That's not to say he'd hit on everyone in addition to Libby, but it doesn't make him hitting on other girls unrealistic either. Also, thinking a girl is attractive doesn't make him a pervert, lol.

But I kinda get where you're coming from with the storyline mostly being about the future characters. I think that turn happened when she stopped writing to Nick.com's rules, but I may be mistaken. So, as for the rest of your issues, I think that's all just personal preference.
