Please tell me what you think of the ending! I'm dying to know how well (in your opinion) I wrapped it up! And apologies for the first four pages or so...FJ started in on his technobabble and I couldn't get him to stop . If you can get past that, please, please leave me a comment detailing your favorite parts of the chapter(s). I have a physiological *need* to know

Done, as in stick a fork in me, cause I've been at this for 359 pages and 5+ freaking years. It took me longer to write this beast than it did to get my college degree.

It's such a surreal sense of accomplishment, because I can't really do anything with the story now that it's complete, but I've learned so much from the experience that I can't help but feel massively proud and grateful. TOSOT is the reason I started drawing, and it's taught me so much about characterization and dialogue. This might be my inflated ego speaking, but I think I've improved a lot as a result of writing this.

I really appreciate all the feedback you guys have given me... you seriously are the reason I finished TOSOT at all. I can't thank you all enough for the support over the years, especially those of you who've stuck with me over the long haul. Your patience should have its own spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. I'd especially like to thank Katie for all the times she's helped me proofread...your inner DJ is indispensable, my dear

AURORA: Oh, that's hilarious. This coming from the guy who brain-probes a couple of eleven-year-olds the second my back is turned.

That's just rich! Some of the stuff they said really made me smile Especially the mention of the treaty!

And I was squealing at the cuteness of the fact that he said Cindy helped him invent the triangle!!! Call it the JC fangirl in me but that was just sooo freaking adorable!! I wanted to hug Jimmy right then...was he going to confess?

CINDY: Sounds unimaginably dull. Will I be able to access the restricted areas of your lab?
JIMMY: Over my dehydrated, lifeless corpse.
CINDY: I'm there.

Wonderful ending. I was glad to see in their own way, Aurora and DJ sorted things out to take the first step to recovery. What did make me sad was the loss of Aurora and April. Honestly the fact that Aurora and April seems unresolved after 10 years of friendship makes me sad. Perhaps, this is the fist step to recovery, but I hoped for the slightest reconciliation at the very least between the two. However, I am glad it was not some kind of fairytale ending where Aurora and April became besties again and April ended up with Lee. That's not what Lee deserves to have done to him, nor April.

I also wished for a glimpse of FS and FL's future on Shangri Lama. This, I'm sure was a difficult ending to write, and while an ending may not always please everyone, it definitely ties together most of the loose strings.

Also, I know it's extremely early to be asking this, but will you not be writing any more JN fan fiction after this?

I don't think there's any way I can top TOSOT, so no I promised Jessi I would write my own version of the CarlXLaudya meeting once she finished, so there is always that.

Otherwise, it's original fiction all the way!
