..

STORYTIME.

That "guy" is a Titan - a rather large, seemingly human creature that is actually genderless(they don't have any sex organs so it's safe to say they are).

You could say they're primitive and wear no clothes so. Yep.

It's a *thing*.

But even the humanoid cyclops titan in the Disney classic movie Hercules had at least a loincloth...

@Em: That's because the cyclops presumably had reproductive organs to cover. The titans from Shingeki no Kyojin are like barbie dolls in that they have nothing going on downstairs. The cyclops could also talk, even if he was pretty dumb - the titans from SnK (the regular ones, anyway) do not possess intelligence of any kind. Creatures without the ability to think do not adorn their bodies with clothing.

Finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Now I have NO EPISODES LEFT TO LOVE

tumblr_mpg3cadhwc1sxf05qo1_400.gif

It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good omg my babies : I almost cried when Ed gave up his alchemy to get his brother's body back...

literally my ONLY complaint is that Winry wasn't included in the final battle in any way, when pretty much every other single character we met throughout the entire series contributed something to the effort

An anime I finished years ago and thoroughingly suggest to any one who is interested in one damn good storyline is Princess TuTu:

tutu1302.jpg

Princess TuTu is a fairy tale anime - meaning it follows and is based off of different fairy tales. Literally. Each character(or character relationships) follow a fairy tale in some form or fashion. Princess TuTu herself is a fairy tale. It follows a girl name Ahiru, or Duck, who is in love with a prince; however, this prince has had parts of himself scattered due to a sacrificial sealing of an evil raven. He attends a ballet school alongside his angsty-protector, Fakir(who is like the only manly male in the whole series and dances like a god~). Unfortunately the prince knows nothing of getting himself back together and on top of that, the daughter of the raven seriously wants in his pants is preventing shards of his heart coming back. Ahiru falls in love with the prince and is determined to see the prince back to his normal self thus she assumes the guise of Princess TuTu and fights to get her prince's heart back.

^ Note, a lot of this changes, but this is just from the first couple episodes and is the base of the whole anime. It's relatively short with only 26 episodes long.

fakir_fighting.jpg

PTutu9.gif

(because you want to see this)

The anime itself is very emotional and compelling. Of course, since it follows the fairy tales, expect the near same endings. (Every episode IS the story of a fairy tale and some are continuous due to characters following them: for example, "The Black and White Swan".)

Also - the soundtrack is amazing. It features only classical music with Tchaikovsky being the central composer. REALLY amazing stuff. It seems really girly(the majority of it is) but I swear this anime will touch you inappropriately.

SO WATCH IT. COME, BE APART OF THE FANDOM.

Princess Tutu was my friend Emma's favorite anime for a number of years... aren't I correct in believing that it has a sad ending, though?

You are correct. ^^;

It leaves you screaming at the screen, but honestly, it could not have ended any better than that. Out of all the animes I have watched, it has the best ending by far.

despite the fact it ripped open my heart

So just recently caught up with Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince and let me say this:

I love this freaking anime so much omfg. Literally the only mecha anime I actually enjoyed seeing! I adore the fight scenes and just how they all work..also, for once, a mecha anime actually has a freaking plotline! I swear I always get so bored because they all seemed random but Ginga Kikoutai sets up for the plotline later. It hints and hints until you HAVE to see the rest to find out what the hint was all about.

601936_384727144975236_675621502_n.jpg

Literally the anime is about:

"In the year 2110, humanity has expanded its frontier into space in its drive for new resources, advances in genetic engineering research led to the establishment of the "MJP Project" developed with the intention of allowing humans to adapt to the new frontier, leading to the advent of genetically enhanced humans known as the "evolved children". However, when Earth finds itself under threat by the Wulgaru, an advanced alien race that quickly advances into the Solar System despite their invading force is much smaller in numbers, Earth forces decide to have the evolved children trained as soldiers.

Team Rabbits, a quintet of evolved children whose troubling lack of teamwork and common sense prevents them from reaching their true potential is selected to pilot some test mecha prototypes powered by the "JURIA system", a cutting edge technology whose effectiveness in combat is increased according to the survival instincts of whoever uses it."

Team Rabbit includes: Kei Kugiyama, the most badass sixteen year old blonde who can locate freaking field mines in outer space. Ataru Suruga, the team's "sniper" and girl-crazed NERD. Tamaki Irie, who I think is totally insane during flight - not to mention she's obsessed with getting a boyfriend. Asagi Toshikazu, your friendly neighborhood smartass, not to mention Asagi has some emotional problems(can somebody say "vulnerable hot mess"?). And lastly, Izuru Hitachi, the most corny wanna-be superhero/occasional badass that ever lived. Oh and he's in the middle of writing and drawing his own manga series ahaha.

I highly recommend it for someone wanting to see some major character development and plotline(not so much if you want romance. trust me, I'm currently screaming at Kei to tell her true feelings already ;u; ). Also, it's scenes like this that made me nod my head:

Commie-Ginga-Kikoutai-Majestic-Prince-02

(starting left: Suruga, Tamaki, Izuru, Kei, and Asagi.)

Ohhh I LOVED Princess Tutu! I think I still have the episodes on my hard drive somewhere...  I agree though, the ending left me going  :  :angrymob:

And Fullmetal Alchemist!!!! favorite manga ever of all time on the face of planet earth! ...I haven't seen the anime though... I mean, I saw the original one, that kinda sucked 'cause it diverged from the manga's storyline to some lame conclusion... but the first part of it that did follow the manga was awesome. Never watched brotherhood though... I was pretty darn sad when I had to donate my 15+ manga volumes of it when I moved... T_____T I had to get rid of ALL my manga...

Does anyone else watch and/or read SNK? I LOVE it. And I just found out they're making a spin off! Singeki no Kyojin Gaiden, a prequel about Levi's past (shortest character I've ever had the hots for).
