^^That's my ultimatum. Cindy's not a bully.

But doesn't that mean that she's not entirely a bad person, like you seem to be making her out to be?Doesn't matter if Cindy did save Jimmy's life, that doesn't change my opinion on her vile, nasty nature.

Besides, most of those bashers are ten-year-olds. Seriously. I know the bashing makes you sad, but that doesn't mean that you need to "get revenge" on EVERY OTHER mature, reasonable JN fan who just happens to like Cindy more. That's just a bit...extreme, y'know?

I personally have nothing against Betty now, although before I thought she was another complication to the JC relationship, but now I realize she was only brought in to perhaps widen the shows scope, so that Cindy could have someone to get jealous of. I do admit, we would have missed out if we did't have some of the Betty centric episodes like Vanishing Act or Party at Neutron's.

They're still people, dude. Treat others as you would wish to be treated and all that. Also, they don't believe in love and tolerance either, Katie. I'm sorry, but it won't work on the maniacs that are outside of this site.
Except for the trolls. (As in, those who bash SPECIFICALLY to piss people like you off.)
But most people aren't trolls, they're just opinionated.
I'm going to repeat what I said to you in a different thread. I think it applies here too.
I agree that Betty doesn't deserve vilification, but I don't think Cindy deserves it either. If you don't think your favourite character should be bashed, maybe extend that courtesy to the other side?
Retribution COULD be good if done in a joking manner so that Cindy-supporters can appreciate it...But if you seriously bash Cindy to tiny pieces in retaliation to certain 'extremists' bashing your preferred character, then you risk alienating a lot of the people who like Cindy. And there are a LOT of those.

Face it, my opinion will not change. I refuse to love and tolerate someone who uses mean tricks and abuse to express feelings to one person. No wonder some of these love-hate relationships in real life ended up as domestic violence cases...
Watch something on A&E or Investigation Discovery for such examples how "true love" isn't cracked up to be, that's why I do not support J/C and never will, because the unknown future (thanks a lot, SpongeBob CashCowPants), and the possibility that one of them would end up dead.

Still not convinced.

Oh for crying out loud.
Maybe people say bad things about Betty on other sites, but not this one! You KNOW this! So please, Urvy...stop with the antagonistic behavior around here. It's hurtful to say that JCers support bullying. It isn't an "eye for an eye" or whatever to spout Cindy hate on IDOJ, because THERE IS NO BETTY HATE ON IDOJ.
People being jerks other places doesn't mean you have to be a jerk everywhere to counteract them! Jerks + more jerks = a super sucky world. That's what the love and tolerance message is, Urvy. Instead of responding to upsetting things with more hate, try to respond in a way that will make the world nicer. That's a good rule for life.
And finally: No one is asking you to change your opinion on Cindy! The point is to change how you talk to others about it. The way you do now implies that many IDOJers are all for domestic abuse. That's just not appropriate around here, Urvy.

To quote Watchmen- "Even in the face of Armageddon, never compromise."
That applies to the jerks outside of IDOJ.

Why won't it work on them, Urvy?Fine and dandy, Katie, but sometimes, it won't work.
To quote Watchmen- "Even in the face of Armageddon, never compromise."
That applies to the jerks outside of IDOJ.
And why does it matter so much? You don't know them personally, you don't have to listen to them every second of your life. Let them have their opinion, be the bigger person. Maybe try ignoring them or something, instead of getting revenge?
Everything that has already been said, x2.
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
It's just not a very nice way to live. This isn't a matter of life and death, anyway.

as for J/B can you explain what Betty and jimmy have in common for me?
and as for one of them dying in the future, they wont die because they are the stars of the show.

Yes, but, hold habits could return. Some cases where it's "love at first sight" end up being the focus of a crime like a battered wife or husband killing the spouse.@urvy do you really think they wouldn't mature? they are just kids after all.

Yes, a lot of people on the internet are closed-minded. But if you sink to their level, then there is no difference between you and them. You will be exactly as bad as them. And you're not petty like that, Urvy! So please don't get into this 'retaliation' business.

You're trying to exercise Internet vigilante justice. In the real world, this mostly doesn't work.

There IS a difference between me and them. I defend J/B, they bash it. Letting them have their way proves there is no justice in the world.
I've tried to be as patient as I can be but this really does need to be said for the record - this is a cartoon, NOT real life. You take a lot of things on here a little too seriously. Please lighten up. This is a fan-friendly community. Let's try to keep it that way instead of all this "eye for an eye" stuff.
We're just trying to help you, Urvy. Don't push us away.
