PAT: Using programmable matter, I can create almost any type of room you can imagine!

Incredible! How about a beach theme?

PAT: Certainly, Jimmy. *in minutes, she makes the room complete with lounge chairs, sand, virtual sunset, seagull sounds, rhythmic beach music, and a tiki bar, complete with edible snacks and drinks for all of them*

Timmy: Awesome! *begins jumping on one of the colorful beach-themed beds* I'm stayin' up all night!!

I hear that!! *starts jumping on it with him, with Cosmo soon joining them*

*starts singing off-key with the music playing*

*mutters under his breath* Jeez, with all this commotion, my 4-month-project is gonna take me even LONGER to finish...probably until our child's 6 months old! On the other hand, we'd be making history with the first human child born in another dimension! That in itself is exciting, especially for me! *normal tone* Could you guys keep it down, please?? *sits up, yawns, and looks over at Libby* Libs, I thought you were a heavy sleeper...

I am, but the guys are bein' loud enough to wake even ME up! It's drivin' me nuts!

Me: *groans and stirs in her bed* They just woke me up, too... What are they doing UP so late?! I wanna go back to SLEEP HERE!!!

*hears them carrying on even louder than before* UGH, that does it! *leaps out of bed and marches up to the wall, then bangs on it repeatedly* You boys better keep it down and GO TO SLEEP, or I'm gonna come in there AFTER YOU!!!

*in the guys' room*

*stops jumping on the bed and hops down* Guys, you better be quiet! I just heard Cindy yelling at us to keep it down!

*walks up to the wall and yells back* Cry a river, build a bridge, and GET OVER IT!!!! Geez!

Guys, I'd listen to her if I were you. That girl is very unpredictable, even for me! We need to get to bed, anyways; it's going on 200 hours...

Me: *opens eyes a bit wider and sees an odd glow from beside the window* *groggily* Huh?? What's that extra light doing on?? *goes to investigate, then suddenly starts to feel a strong gravitational tug* WHAT the-?! *accidentally yells* What the heck is GOING ON HERE?!?!! I can't pull myself free on my own!!

*sits bolt upright in bed and whips her head in Em's direction* Em?! Are you okay?!! *shakes Cindy awake, then rushes over, grabs her arm, and pulls...HARD*

Me: I...can't...pull free! Cindy, Libby, help!! A wormhole's got me!!

I'm coming!! Hang on!! *hurries over and pulls on her, too*

She's *groans* gettin' closer!! Pull harder!!!

I *grunts* AM!!!

Wanda: Lemme help! *with a flick of her wand, she gives Cindy and Libby the strength to pull her out*

and together: Thanks, Wanda! And....... PULL!!!! *give one last yank and she's free, which sends the 3 flying several feet backwards*

Ow, my arms... That was some STRONG pulling force!! What WAS that, anyway?!

Me: It looked like a strange wormhole to me... Boy, was it STRONG!!

Wait a minute, hold on! That was no ordinary wormhole! It was one of those exotic ones that cause rifts in the spacetime continuum that either speed up or reverse time! I've read about that stuff!

Me: That's fascinating! And if you ask me, I think the one I encountered sped up time, though it was only centered on me... Just LOOK at me; I'm huge! I'm probably close to 9 months along by now!

Did y'all hear that?? It sounded like it came from the boys' room! *walks up to the wall* Did one of you boys say somethin'?!

*from the opposite side* I thought I heard cries for help!

That was Em. She encountered some sorta rift in the spacetime continuum!

Gladly! *uses it to scan her* According to this, you're only 2 weeks away from your due date. *sees that Carl and Sheen are still there, clearly wanting to see some "action"* Carl, Sheen, I was the only one called over here, so you 2 need to return to your sleeping quarters...NOW... *points at the door*

Dang IT!! I thought we were gonna see some "action"! C'mon, Carl, let's go...

Fine... *follows Sheen out back to their room*

Good. Now I'll have less distractions as I work...

I need to put that on hold for a couple weeks, Libby... Em's 2 weeks from being full term, so she needs all the help she can get. Unfortunately, my age is an inhibiting factor in that, so where's my Age-Changer 5000??

Bark, bark! *hands it to him, good as new(remember? It previously got water-damaged, but Goddard fixed it.)*

*pats him on the head* Thanks, boy! *turns the dial on it ahead 10 years, then zaps himself(Thankfully, his outfit grows with him.)* That's more like it! Thankfully, I modified it to where intelligence increases as your age does with this thing.

Me: Thank goodness! That way, age won't be a hindrance as much...

Very true, Em. Now, let's get you the prenatal care you need...

"You realize that when we get back to our own demension you are going to have a heck of a lot of explaning to do?"

Em snorts. "Sure it was."

" It was your stupid inventions that got us into this mess in the first place. But, like I said, you tend to her for now. I'm getting out of this weird, messed up situation. Call me when you need me."

Cindy leaves the bathroom, and Libby turns to Jimmy and Emily.

"That wasn't at all tense, was it?"

"Libby, what am I going to do?"

"Dude, you are on your own," she replies and follows her best friend out of the bathroom.

Sighs then turns to Em. "Okay, what exactly do we need?"

Em beams gratefully. "Well, lets see here."

Grudon, Zandora's assistant, said that any other location here other than our rooms and the engineering room were off limits. I dunno if you'll trigger any alarms if you leave without permission...

Ugh, like I CARE!! C'mon, Libs! *steps through the vertically-rising automatic door and with one foot on the ground outside their quarters, sets off an alarm* Gah... She was right...

Me: TOLD you!! Now, come back inside...

FINE... *retracts her foot and comes back inside, cancelling the alarm* Geez, who knew how rigged this place was?? *shrugs*

Grudon: *materializes in the room from seemingly out of nowhere* Um, everyone on this frikkin' planet?! I thought I told you to stay in your quarters!

*whispers to Libby* How does he DO that?!

*whispers back* Not easily, I expect...

Sir, it was me accidentally set off the alarm, only cuz I was fed up at Neutron here. *gestures towards the rear of the room*

Grudon: *looks over at him* WTH-?! You were a kid when I saw you last!

Me: It's a LOOONNG story, and we'd rather not go into it...

Let's just say he needed to be her age in order to tend to her properly in her last weeks of pregnancy, so he used a gadget of his to increase his age by 10 years.

Me: Uh, no. Just 2 weeks. Is the expectancy for females of your species 10 months instead of 9, which is what it is for us humans?

"But at this point there's not much we can do except wait."

"I could maybe try to think of a way to hurry labor a long."

Em: "Uh, no thanks."

"Girl, you got yourself into this, you have no choice."

"Cindy! Enough! Goddard list options..."

Me: Thanks, Goddard. *drinks the water with the vitamins* *yawns* Boy, this ordeal wore me out! I'm going back to bed now, seeing how late it is... *retreats to her bed and slips under the covers, then puts her glasses on the nightstand nearby* 'Night, guys...

I think I'd better sleep with her, just in case she needs anything in the night... *climbs in with her* Goddard, "sleep mode". 'Night, guys.

I think we should do the same. C'mon, Libs... Time for bed. *gets into her bed, as well, with Libby joining her and Wanda sleeping on a floating cloud she poofed out of thin air*

Once Cindy is out of earshot of Jimmy, she leans over to Libby.

"Did you hear her calling him honey? I swear if she cooes about how gorgeous he is one more time, I'm going to scratch her eyes OUT!"

"Girl, don't be stressing. He likes you."

"I don't know," she replies crawling into bed.

"Maybe we should just get some sleep."

"I want to get this 2 weeks over. Maybe she'll go into labor early, naturally"

" Cindy that's it! I think I heard my mom telling her pregnant friend some tricks she had for having labor start. Like, going for walks, or doing a bit of excercise, mopping the floor, practically anything that require physical movement."

"Is that safe?"

"Totally."

"Well, maybe we can start some of those things tommorow."

Just then Jimmy appears around the corner.

"NEUTRON! You loser, get the heck out of here!"

"Em needs an extra blanket and I was wondering, if uh, maybe she could have one of yours?"

*stares blankly back at him*

"Dude, those were the wrong words to say."

*throws her blanket at his face, angrily* "Here take MY blanket to your LOVED ONE! Since it's your baby anyway!"

"OH, great."

"I was under the love potion!"

"I don't care! Take my blanket and get out of here! You can go back and smooch with Emily.. not that I care, at all."

"Fine!"

"Fine! Now get out of here!"

"Gladly."

Jimmy leaves, Cindy turns over in her bed angrily.

"THE nerve!!"

"Go to sleep, Cindy."

Sighs and then replies with a soft, "Fine."

Me: *wakes up the next morning and stretches* What a refreshing night that was, aside from the boys being so rowdy, anyways! *giggles softly and checks the time on her watch* 10:30am. Perfect timing...

*mutters something in his sleep and turns to be on his back*

Me: *sighs romantically* Man, when he's asleep, he's so H-A-W-T!! *giggles again a bit louder*

*groans and turns to face her, eyes half-lidded; sleepily* What's so funny?

Me: Oh, nothing... *titters flirtatiously, then puts her glasses on* PAT? Whip us up a breakfast buffet, if you would, please!

PAT: Certainly. Already done. *a slot in the wall opens to reveal a full breakfast buffet sliding out on a horizontal bar table, pancakes, eggs in every form, bacon, sausages, french toast, the works*

*sniffs the air and gradually sits up* Yum! Where is that delicious smell coming from?! *rubs her eyes and sees what PAT has just set out for them* Wow!! This looks heavenly!!! Who made this?!

Me: PAT did. It smells so DIVINE!!!

*sits up and rubs her eyes* What does?

Check it out, Libs! PAT, our techno-housekeeper, prepared this scrumptious display for us!

YUMMY!!! I"m starved!

Wanda: *wakes up and sees what PAT prepared for them* How lovely! Let's eat!

Me: Sweet! Lemme just get Jimmy up... *shakes his shoulder gently* Jimmy, hon, it's time to eat.

Huh?? *turns his head groggily toward the food, rubbing his eyes* INCREDIBLE!!! What a culinary display!! *leaps out of bed and hurries over there, filling a plate with some food* Goddard, "wake mode"!

"Of course I've got some lugnuts for you boy, I always keep an emergency back up."

*rolls her eyes but her mouth is too full of delicious food to comment*

"Oh, Em, did we tell you that we thought of some ideas for you to hurry along labor last night?"

Em: "As long as they don't hurt the baby."

"Nope, most women do some of them, like go on walks, or do a few squats, nothing too drastic of course. But that's what my mom did."

Em: "It couldnt hurt to try."

"NO, it couldn't. Plus, the sooner we get this weirdness over the better."

"Cindy? Why are you talking and not enjoying this DELICIOUS food?"

Cindy shrugs and goes back to eating.

"All right, well that was the best breakfast I've had in a while. Now what is on the agenda today?"

"How about we take care of Em for a while and you think of things that we need to have for when that baby of yours comes..." She stops, suddenly going green.

Em: "Are you okay, Cind? You like your going to be sick!"

"Neutron is a baby daddy! Disgusting! I feel sorry for that kid."

Smiles and leans unnaturally close to Cindy, who flushes in response. "I think you are just jealous."

"Why does this sound so familiar, oh right, because I ALL READY said NO!"

Jimmy just chuckles. "Then why are you blushing?"

"I AM NOT!"

"Yes you are!"

Me: That was a delicious breakfast, PAT! Thank you! Take care of the leftovers, please.

PAT: You're welcome. And certainly, Emily. *just as quickly as it appeared, the table and the leftovers retreat back into the wall*

Me: On another note, I do despise almost any exercise, but I guess it could work... PAT, a tranquil seaside display, please...

PAT: Happy to oblige. *a calming seaside image lights up the entire back wall, and a treadmill-like walkway materializes beside it on the floor, but taking on the appearance of beach sand*

Me: This looks lovely! Anyone care to join me on my virtual walk? *starts walking on the walkway* Wow, the scenery is actually moving as I walk! Incredible!

I don't mind, Em. Sure. *joins her on the walkway*

Don't mind me... I'll just be entering a message in my phone's digital diary... *pulls it out and does just that*

*20 minutes later*

Me: I think that will be enough for today. Thanks for the idea, Libby.

Oh, ya know, I do what I can to help...

Me: PAT, please return the scenery to its former state.

PAT: Certainly. *the back of the room takes on its former settings*

So, when's this baby comin', cuz I wanna watch everything!!!

Definitely NOT happening, Sheen! You, Carl, Timmy, and the others will be in the other room when THAT happens! I, however, need to stick by her, seeing as I'm the child's paternal influence...

Em. "Yeah, Cind! We are going to need all the help we can get."

"FINE! But I'm going to borrow lover boy for a minute if you don't mind."

Cindy grabs the Age Changer 5000 and Jimmy's arm then drags him to the room where Carl and Sheen are sitting.

"OUT!"

"But, but Jimmy just said..."

"OUT!!!!"

Both get up and leave looking nervously back....

"Okay, what the heck is going on?"

"YOU! I hate you going ga-ga all over this girl!"

"She's carrying my child!"

"I want to talk to the real you!" Presses the age changer 5000.

"NO!!!"

*Jimmy changes back to his normal age.*

"What did you do?"

"Don't worry I'll change you back as long as this stupid thing doesn't malfuction. Now let's get something clear, okay? This is your kid and all, and it is YOUR fault that we are in this mess. But, I can't see you fawn over her one more time or I am going to loose my mind!"

"You expect me not to care! Well, for your information I plan on making regular visits and being a good dad..."

"Just answer me once and for all! Do you like her, Neutron?"

"Why do you care?"

Takes a step closer to him. "Because-well, I, well, I l-l..." Now they were only inches apart.

"Yes?"

Clears her throat. "Well, I guess I sort of," she pauses again and Jimmy smiles, beginning to lean foreward. Cindy closes her eyes preparing herself for contact...

"CINDY!!! JIMMY! COME QUICK!"

*Jimmy stops and they look at each other for a brief moment. Jimmy quickly grabs the Age Changer from her.*

*Blushes as she looks down at her feet.*

"We'll pick this up later, okay?"

"Really?"

"Really," he replies then gives her a quick kiss on the cheek.



*He shoots himself with the Age Changer 5000.*

"COMING!"

Cindy just stands there grinning stupidly for a few moments, then follows him back toward the other room.
