Chapter 11: Seemingly Unexplained Behavior
(Libby's POV)


It all started the following morning shortly after I woke up. Ah, I thought, Another relaxing day at camp! I sat up and stretched, then climbed down the ladder to the floor and proceeded to get myself dressed for the day.

Then, suddenly, I heard Cindy scream and saw her sit bolt upright in her bed in a cold sweat. I hurried and dressed and rushed over to Cindy's bedside on one of the bottom bunks. I laid my hand gently on her shoulder and softly asked, "Cindy, are you okay, girl??"

"It was awful! They were everywhere I looked!!!" she managed to gasp after a few seconds.

Betty saw what was going on and wanted to know, "Cindy, did you have a bad dream?"

"Yes! It was TERRIBLE!! Babies were popping out of thin air by the thousands! I felt overwhelmed with my lack of responsibility!! It was awful!" Cindy breathed, trembling slightly.

"Cindy, it's just a dream. That could never happen in real life, okay?" I reassured her.

Taking a deep breath, she replied, "Okay, Libs. I understand." Then she got up and got herself dressed like the rest of us had already done.

A noise coming from the boys' cabin next door suddenly startled us. It sounded like an argument followed by a crash and unrecognizable cries of passion. I couldn't make out what was said, but I immediately knew who said them: Sheen! Then, I suddenly couldn't stop thinking about him and doing things with him that we only should do if we were married, but we weren't! I didn't know why at the time, but I started to have lustful feelings towards Sheen. My heart pounded like a hammer as I thought about him. Then, I couldn't take it any longer. I made a mad dash out the cabin door and flung open the boys' cabin door when I got there. I could hear Cindy's voice as she ran up behind me saying, "Libby, you don't know what you're getting into! This is exactly what happened to me! Don't do things you'll regret later in life!"

Sheen ran up to me after I flung the door open and embraced me like there was no tomorrow. I happily returned the favor. Then he whispered, "Let's go find a privater, more romantic spot, shall we?"

Blindly, I agreed. We went to that same place that I had found Cindy and Jimmy in a couple days before and did the same thing they'd done in there. We ended up falling asleep in that tall grass, it was so relaxing!

I later awoke to the sound of Cindy's voice calling after us! I shook Sheen awake and urged, "Sheen, honey, do you hear that?! That's Cindy!!!"

"What? I don't hear nothin'!" he tried to convince me, but I wasn't buying it.

"Sheen, get yo' lazy butt up and listen!! She's gettin' closer by the second!" I snapped.

"I'm tellin' ya, I don't hear anything!!" Sheen protested, shrugging.

"Just keep yo' mouth shut, and LISTEN!!!!" I hissed, clamping my hand over his mouth, "She better not catch us like this, or you won't see the end of it!"

"Won't see the end of what, Libby?"

Startled, I turned around to face Cindy, an angry expression on her face and her hands on her hips. "What exactly is going on here?!" she sharply asked.

Both Sheen and I scrambling to throw on our clothes, I hastily replied in a shaky voice, "N-Nothin', Cindy! I swear!"

"That's what I'd like to know, as well!" came another unmistakable voice. Then he walked up next to Cindy with his arms crossed. It was none other than Jimmy!

"L-Listen, Jimmy! I-I can explain!!" Sheen stammered.

"No need, Sheen! Both Cindy and I saw what you two were doing here, and it wasn't just simple flirting, either! Apparently, you both needed to have all your clothes off to do it, too!" Jimmy sternly said to us.

"Listen, Cindy, I never intended for this to happen in the first place!" I tried to persuade her.

"Save it, Libby! Jimmy told me exactly what happened in the boys' cabin before you and Ultra-Nerd did what you did! Once he ingested the potion on accident, you, as well as he, were affected. And NOW, if an antidote isn't found within 5 weeks, you'll be stuck like this permanently!" she explained with a stern expression on her face.

"Both of your parents will be notified with a full explanation of what happened! There will be no further incidents of this kind! Understood?? And finish getting dressed, for crying out loud!" Jimmy added firmly.

Sheen and I both nodded as we finished getting our clothes on. Then he and I followed them back to camp. As we made our way back, I looked at my watch and noticed that Sheen and I'd been away for over 12 hours!

Once inside our cabin, I motioned for Cindy to follow me to the bathroom, which she did. I shut the door behind me and locked it. Then I took one of my pregnancy tests out of my back pocket and went into one of the stalls, shutting the door behind me and temporarily locking it. I used the bathroom and checked the test. It came out positive! I came out of the stall with my face paled as I whispered loudly, "It came out positive, Cindy."

"Let's check with Jimmy, just to be sure, because he has a device that'll prove whether you're pregnant or not," she reassured me, leading me out of our cabin and to the boys' cabin. I nodded as she knocked on the door. Jimmy answered it and asked, "What is it, girls?"

"Could you use that new invention of yours to see if Libby's pregnant?" Cindy asked him.

"Sure!" he responded, and brought it out. He held it over my belly for a few seconds, then informed me, "Libby, you're pregnant."

"I knew it!" I muttered with a sigh.


I hope you enjoyed it! TOLD ya it'd really heat up in this chapter! Trust me, it gets even better in the following chapters! ;)

Chapter 12: An Uncomfortable Discussion
(Sheen's POV)


Turns out, both Jimmy and I had the same secret, but it was hard to keep. Everyone knew I was a blabbermouth. However, his secret was known by everyone except the counselors. Only Jimmy, Cindy, and Libby knew mine, only cuz Libby was with me when we absentmindedly did it and Jimmy and Cindy caught us in the act. No one else did. And I tried to keep it that way. After all, it was my big mouth that blabbed Jimmy's secret to the guys in the first place!

That evening, Jimmy brought out snacks he'd stored in his hypercube especially for that night. He wanted to try and distract us from the events that had happened during the past few days, to try to make it a little less stressful. He brought out gummy worms, Purple Flurp, assorted chips, and War Heads. Luckily, there was enough to go around the 6 of us.

"Thanks, Neutron! You really came through this time!" Nick thanked him, munching on some chips.

"It's my pleasure, guys! After all that's happened, I thought we deserved a little treat tonight," Jimmy returned, handing out extras to those who wanted them.

"Yeah," Carl agreed, sipping on his Purple Flurp, "That was really quite a shock to find out that Cindy accidentally got pregnant! I just hope it doesn't happen to any of the other girls, or didn't happen to them!"

"Yeah, uh-," I said nervously, tugging on my shirt collar, "Funny story about that!"

Jimmy immediately walked over to me and sharply whispered, "You better not be about to blab Libby's and your secret!!"

"Don't worry, Jimmy! I got it covered!" I quietly promised him with a wink. Then I announced, "Carl brings up a good point! Another girl did accidentally get pregnant, on account of ME!!"

Carl gasped and asked, "Who is it, Sheen?!!"

"It BETTER not be Betty Quinlan!" Nick growled, clenching his potato chip bag with his hand and crushing the chips inside it.

"Not to worry, Nick!" I reassured him, "It's not Betty; it's Libby!"

Jimmy just glared at me and hissed through clenched teeth, "Way to blow the secret, Sheen!!!"

"Now Cindy and Libby have all the burdens of pregnancy, all because of SHEEN!!!" Carl sighed.

"So Sheen got both Cindy and Libby pregnant?" Butch wanted to know, clearly confused.

"Nope, just Libby," Jimmy sarcastically remarked, rolling his eyes.

"So, if BOTH Cindy and Libby are pregnant, but Sheen only got Libby pregnant, that means-" Carl began, but was interrupted by Jimmy, who said, flushing, "Don't even go there, Carl!"

But Carl apparently wasn't listening, and finished, "-Jimmy got Cindy pregnant!"

"I think we kinda already figured that out, Llama-Boy!" Nick told him.

"It's getting rather late, so let's all go to bed, okay?" Jimmy suddenly suggested out of the blue.

"Why? It's only 10:30, Nerd-Bomb!" Nick protested.

"All the more reason to get a good night's rest!" he informed him, blushing even deeper, withdrawing to his bed, covering himself up, and facing the wall, obviously highly embarrassed.

Wanting to help out my friend, I added, "I think he's right. We should ALL be in bed. After all, Ryan DID tell us to be in bed by 10, not 10:30!"

"The kid's got a point," Oleander agreed, "We should be in bed, not arguing."

Every other one of us murmured a response of agreement and retreated to our beds, falling asleep within 30 minutes.
