Chapter 7: The Boys Find Out
(Sheen's POV)


When Butch, Oleander, and Nick arrived at our cabin, it was even harder for me to keep the secret. I seriously felt like everybody had to know what went on between Jimmy and Cindy. But I promised Jimmy I wouldn't tell anyone. I knew I had to try to keep the secret.

The first thing I heard from the new arrivals was Nick complaining, "I didn't want to GO to camp in the first place, but NO, my parents HAD to send me here!"

"Easy, Nick! I didn't want to go, either, at first, but I soon found it rather appealing," Jimmy informed him.

"Huh?" I was plain confused.

Jimmy rolled his eyes and explained, "I like it here, Sheen."

"Oh, okay," I replied.

"So, Neutron, you actually LIKE it here?" Nick verified.

"Isn't that what I just said?" he questioned.

"He was just seeing if you'd admit it," Butch filled in.

"Just leave him alone! It's not his fault he's a teenage father!" I ordered, then realized what I just said and gulped, "Oops!"

Jimmy just gave me a look that seemed to say, "You're really pushing it, Sheen!" Then he told me, "Sheen, remind me to remove what's LEFT of your brain later!"

"Well, well, well! So, Nerd-bomb, who's the mother-to-be?" Nick wanted to know.

"Cindy!" I put in.

"I wasn't talking to you, SHINE!!" he snapped.

"It's SHEEN!!!" I protested, highly annoyed that someone had mispronounced my name yet again.

"Whatever," Nick muttered, not really listening. Then he told him, "So it Cindy, is it? Lucky girl!"

I could tell Oleander was shocked just by the look on his face when he said, "How did this happen?? I'm sure you never meant to do it intentionally, right, Jimmy?"

"You're right, Oleander. It wasn't intentional. It all started when..." Jimmy began, telling them the whole story from beginning to end. "And that's how it happened," he concluded about a minute later.

"Poor Cindy! She has all the burdens of pregnancy, all because SHEEN wanted to get ahold of that potion and tripped Jimmy on purpose to get it, causing it to spill all over him!!!!" Carl pointed out, pointing an accusing finger at me.

"Which is why I did what I did! Anyone else you'd like to blab it to, Sheen??!!" Jimmy sharply asked me, clearly mad at me.

"No, I'm good!" I informed him, then told myself aloud, "Although it wouldn't hurt to tell the camp counselors about it..."

"Oh, no, you won't, Sheen!!!" Jimmy snapped, leaping at me and clamping his hand over my mouth. Then he added through gritted teeth, "You will NOT breathe word about this to either of them!!! Understand?? That goes for you three, too!!"

"Okay, OKAY, Neutron! We get it!!!" Nick said hesitantly with his arms outstretched in front of him.

"Good," he replied, arms folded.

Wow Emily great job on Chapter 7!

Yay it was narrated by Sheen, and I kind of figured he'd be the one to tell lol.

So you did Jimmy's, Sheen's, Libby's, and Cindy's narration, I have yet to see Carl's.

Chapter 8: Rained-Out Picnic
(Carl's POV)


That same day, after Butch, Nick, and Oleander arrived, Ryan knocked on our cabin door. Sheen got up from sitting on his bed and answered it. Ryan walked in and told us, "Hey, guys! How about all of us and the girls go out for a picnic today?"

That made me hungry! "Count me in!" I exclaimed, rushing up to Ryan's side.

"You know, a picnic doesn't sound like a half-bad idea," Nick put in, "I'm in."

"I find the idea quite pleasant, actually!" Jimmy added thoughtfully.

"I'm always up for a picnic!" Sheen excitedly informed Ryan.

"I'm going!" Butch said.

"Me, too!" Oleander pointed out.

"Wonderful!" Ryan told us, then added, "It'll be at Crystal Lake at 12:30. See you then!" Then he left the cabin.

"I just hope we don't have to walk far to get there," I admitted, "That gives me a rash on a place I don't want to mention."

"Don't bring THAT up, Carl!" Sheen told me, obviously annoyed, then pointed out, "Hey, Jimmy? You never DID let me try that love potion of yours! Could I please try it???"

"For the last time, Sheen, NO! It's highly hazardous, and causes you and your crush to do things you'll regret later in life! I should know!" Jimmy sharply said, arms folded.

"Aw, MAN!!" Sheen exclaimed, clearly disappointed.

"Hey, Jim? What does 'hazardous' mean?" I wanted to know.

"It means that it could be toxic or bad for your health," he explained.

"Oh. Okay," I said, satisfied.

"Could I at least hold its container??" Sheen pleaded.

"Very well, but just don't drink it!" Jimmy warned, handing him the vial.

He pulled the stopper off and sniffed it. "Mmm... It smells like Purple Flurp!" he realized aloud, "I love Purple Flurp!"

He was just about to dump it in his mouth when Jimmy intervened, and just in time, too! He knocked the vial out of Sheen's hands and let it splatter on the floor, but not before some accidentally landed in his mouth, which he was forced to swallow!

"What happens if some is swallowed?" I nervously asked him.

"It does the same thing, only it's permanent, unless an antidote for it is found and ingested before a limit of 5 weeks is up! If that happens, that person is stuck like this for good!" Jimmy explained with fear in his eyes.

"You know, that would be kinda cool! I'd like to be falling for a girl I was crushing on for the rest of my life! Yeah, it'd be really cool, kind of like... me!" Nick told himself aloud, leaning stylishly against the door frame.

"Trust me, NO, it wouldn't! Take it from me!" Jimmy tried to convince him.

"Okay, Neutron, I guess you're right," Nick admitted.

"I wonder what we'll have on our picnic today...," I wondered aloud.

Right as I said that, someone knocked on our door again. Jimmy answered it to find Ryan at the door. "Come on in," he invited, motioning him in. He walked in and sat on one of the bottom bunks, saying, "Guys, I just listened to the radio, and they said that the skies are going to be overcast today. We might have to cancel our picnic."

Just then, Lindsey burst through the door and interjected, "A couple of clouds won't hurt us none! Ryan, quit being so paranoid! A little rain never hurt nobody nohow!"

"Okay, Lindsey! If you say so!" he cautiously replied, hastily following her out the door.

"Okay, she officially creeps me OUT!" Sheen said with a slight shiver.

"C'mon, Sheen! Get over it! She's friendly enough!" Jimmy encouraged him.

"Okay, but she STILL freaks me out!" he reminded him.

Right at that moment, some distant thunder made itself known.

"Maybe Ryan was right about the weather," I pointed out, looking out the window at the cloudy sky.

"Carl, you worry too much! Like she said, a little bit of rain never hurt anyone! You need to learn to tough it out like a MAN!" Sheen put in.

"Sheen, stop it!" I protested, "You're scaring me!" I then ran over to Jimmy for protection from Sheen and hid behind him. Then I whispered to him, "Jimmy, he scares me!"

"Sheen, enough with the antics!! You're scaring Carl!" Jimmy scolded him.

"Aw, c'mon! I was just kidding around!" Sheen joked, although, it didn't seem like one to me.

When 12:30 came around, we all headed for the multi-purpose building. Right when we stepped inside, a sudden downpour came down out of nowhere! When everyone was inside, Ryan ran behind us and shut the door loudly.

"Now, I know it's pouring outside, but that doesn't stop us from having a good time!" he encouraged us.

Cindy raised her hand and asked, "Does that mean we're gonna have the picnic inside?"

"That's right, Cindy!" Lindsey replied, "Ryan, lead them to the cafeteria portion of the multi-purpose building."

He did just that, and when we arrived, we found that it was only half as big as the cafeteria at school. However, what it lacked in space was made up for in decor! it looked just like a 60's diner, kinda like the Candy Bar at home. We had sandwiches, fruit salad, fried chicken, and Purple Flurp, as well as pound cake for dessert. It was delicious, as usual! When we were through, we saw that it was still pouring outside, so we burst through the door and made a mad dash for the shelter of our cabins. We barely made it inside before the winds started howling!

Wow great chapter, Emily!

Wow they had to eat inside because of the rain, and Sheen scaring Carl, oh Sheen when will you ever learn.

Wow you made the place called Crystal Lake? I knew that place existed in Friday the 13th movies, I didn't know it was a real place though.

But yay Jimmy's POV! I can't wait!

And they got inside just in time.

Chapter 9: Boring, Stormy Afternoon
(Jimmy's POV)


Since it was pouring outside, we had to stay in our cabins for the rest of the day. We tried to find ways to amuse ourselves amidst the intense boredom.

I, as usual, had brought a good bit of stuff to do in my hypercube, and the majority of it centered around my inventions. Even though I was busy, I was still aware of what went on around me.

Sheen was blabbering on about UltraLord, as usual. He was saying, "You know, this storm reminds me of UltraLord episode 316, when UltraLord was on the planet of never ending storms while he was battling the MegaZord! It wasn't a fair battle, cuz when-"

"Just shut your stupid piehole already!!!!" Nick practically shouted.

"Okay, okay! Fine! Yeesh!! I'm just so dang BORED!!!" Sheen protested.

About an hour and a half later, I'd finished what I'd been doing, which was the usual invention-modifying. I sat on my bed and laid back with my hands behind my head with a sigh. "You know, guys," I admitted, "I hate to admit it, but I find it rather boring without the girls around..."

"I just find it boring with OR without them," Sheen pointed out, "Although, my Libby-baby never bores me!!"

Libby must've had pretty excellent hearing, because we heard her yell, "Shut it, Sheen!! I heard that!!"

"I'll never figure out how she does that! Dang!" he exclaimed, clearly astounded. Then his eyes lit up and he suggested, "Hey, I have an idea! Let's go to the girls' cabin and play 'Spin-the-Bottle!' "

"Well, we've got nothing else to do, so, why not?" Carl said with a shrug.

"I don't know, Sheen. Once I make eye-contact with Cindy, the ordeal will begin all over again!" I informed him.

"C'mon, Jimmy!! Be a MAN about it!!" he urged me, hyper as usual.

"Oh, what could it hurt? C'mon, guys!" I instructed, motioning for them to follow me to the girls' cabin. Because it was still raining, we had to make a mad dash for it, even though it was only 10 feet away. Sheen pounded on the door for them to let us in. Within 10 seconds, the door was opened and we walked in, drenched from the pouring rain.

I took one look at Cindy and the same feelings I'd felt before took hold again. I could tell the same thing happened to her because she rushed over to me and embraced me tightly, I doing the same thing to her. This continued for about a minute or 2, then we were pulled apart again by Libby. She wanted to know, "What exactly are you boys doing here in the GIRLS' cabin?!"

"We're here for a game of Spin-the-Bottle, Libby! Although, it seems as though Jimmy and Cindy are already playing it," Sheen pointed out, obviously referring to Cindy and me, who were kissing fervently seemingly without ceasing.

"Okay, Cindy, Neutron! That's enough!" Libby told us, gently pulling us apart.

"Sorry about that, Libby!" I said, rubbing the back of my neck, "I guess we got lost in eachother and got carried away! Heh, heh!"

"Yeah, okay. How about, instead of Spin-the-Bottle, we could play Spin-Sheen-and-Hit-Him-With-a-Bottle!" she suggested sharply.

Suddenly, Cindy snapped loudly, "Give him a break, Libby!! Geez!! He's only trying to have a little fun, gosh!!!!!" She then ran over to her bed and laid face down on it, her head resting on her arms.

I walked cautiously over to her and gently laid my hand on her shoulder, saying, "Cindy? Are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?"

"NO!!! Now, GO away!!!! she yelled, her voice muffled because her face was buried in her pillow, slapping away my hand.

"Libby, what's going on?" I asked.

"Mood swings. All pregnant girls and women go through them in the first trimester," she calmly explained.

"Oh, yeah! Duh! I knew that!" I realized aloud, playfully slapping my forehead.

"I think it's best if we left Cindy in peace, guys!" Carl informed us.

"You're right, Carl. C'mon, guys. Let's leave the girls be," I informed them, leading them back to our cabin. Surprisingly, the rain had slowed down to a trickle, so we didn't have to hurry back.

Yes, they are. Jimmy accidentally ingested it, and that means it's permanent unless an antidote for it is found, created, and consumed within 5 weeks of the consummation date:

Chapter 10: Righting a Wrong
(Cindy's POV)


I didn't know why, but right at that moment, I was feeling crabby. I also felt bad-, no, terrible that I yelled at Neutron for no reason! I mean, all he was trying to do was comfort me, and WHAT did I do?! I got mad for no reason and yelled at him, which caused him to leave! I felt horrible about it after I thought about it for a while, and I yearned to make it right. I also felt that weird, intense urge to make out with him... What else was there?? I was already pregnant! What could be worse than that?!!

I was still face-down on my bed when Libby came over and sat on the edge of it. She laid her hand gently on my shoulder, not unlike Jimmy had done, and told me, "Girl, I know you're goin' through mood swings, but that doesn't give you the right to say the things you said to Neutron just now! You need to get yo' butt over there and apologize!"

I lifted up my head, sat up, and replied, "Libs, after what I said to him, he's gonna hate me for the rest of my life!! He's gonna carry that grudge through the rest of high school and college!!!! I've officially ruined my relationship with him!"

Libby patted me on my back and informed me, "You don't know that, Cindy! All ya gotta do is go over to him and apologize! How hard can it be? What have ya got to lose??"

"You DO have a point, there, Libby! I'm gonna head over there right now and apologize!" I said, getting up from my bed and walking over to the cabin door. As I was walking out, I heard Libby add, "That's the spirit, girl! You never know unless you try!" And Britney put in, "She's, like, right, you know!"

With that, I made my way over to the boys' cabin with a positive expression on my face. I didn't even bother to knock; I just walked right in. When I was inside, Sheen asked, "Cindy?! What in UltraLord's name are you doing here?"

"Step aside, Ultra-Freak!" I gently snapped, pushing him aside as I made my way to Jimmy, who was sitting on his bed with a glum look on his face, "I've got some business to take care of!"

I sat next to him on his bed and asked, "Hey, Jimmy! You alright?"

He sighed and responded, "I guess so, Cindy. You know, you were really inconsiderate back there!"

"I know, and I'm here to apologize," I told him, taking his hand in mine.

"If you think you're here to ins- Wait a minute! You're sorry?" he started to snap, then realized what I was there for.

"Yes, I am, Jimmy. I was just having mood swings, and that made mather crabby. I didn't mean what I said, and I wanted to say that I'm sorry for what I said to you," I apologized sincerely.

He gave me a light kiss on the cheek as he replied, "I forgive you, Cindy. I guess I should've remembered that mood swings come with pregnancy, and I shouldn't have taken it so personally."

"Hey, it's okay!" I reassured him, then suggested, "Why don't we go treat ourselves to a picnic tomorrow to make up for it?"

"That sounds like a wonderful idea! Tomorrow's going to be a clear day, so let's have it at the shore of Crystal Lake at noon. Goddard'll take us since it's a long walk," Jimmy said confidently.

"Sounds like a deal!" I agreed, and shook hands with him.

Then he looked at his watch and noted aloud, "Hm. It's getting late, so let's go to bed and call it a day, okay?"

"Agreed," I told him, and walked out of the boys' cabin and back to the girls' cabin, satisfied with the deal I'd just made.


For the next chapter, expect it to be in Libby's POV, k? Things REALLY heat up in Chapter 11!!!!!
