Shall I also go on to say that Americans are easily insulted? LOL jk :lol:Hey, not ALL Americans! **looks insulted**
OK, maybe I'm making generalizations. How about "those Americans who grew up taking everything for granted are notoriously rude".

[country bashing]
I have a friend who lives in France, and she was so surprised at how nice the storeworkers in the US were. A lady at Abercrombie and Fitch said "hello, how are you today?" and Mathilde just stared at me.
Also, my sister lives in England and she misses what she calls "Minnesota nice." She'll always fall into a conversation with some stranger on the tram to Minneapolis here, but over there she got evil looks when the Underground stopped and she bumped into the four people in front of her.
(pardon for laughing about this but...) she also saw someone struggling to pick up their fallen (and opened) suitcase on the sidewalk with people just briskly walking by. not only that, but the person told her he didn't need her help when she made an attempt.
[/country bashing]
sorry. but I always hear people say that Americans are rude and it makes me defensive. <_<

that's true. well, not everyone. everyone being those who either don't live in America and therefore don't know everything about it, or those who live in caves. hehe. and they base everything on the bad media.Cause everyone thinks that America is LA or Chicago.
how we're all "fat (no, OBESE), rude, and carelessly squandering our easily-earned money."
there I go, getting all defensive again.

I'll let you borrow MY chainsaw to get outa homework and tests. (Yes, I have a chainsaw. No, I haven't killed anyone with it [yet]!) :ph43r:OK, let's get even more specific: it's mainly young adults and teens that are rude. Especially middle school - college. As college progresses, though, I think some of the rudeness abates.
