UPDATE  :) [7/26/07]

-Thanks to Flank (hehe, that rhymed) we now have several new episodes including Aaughh, Wilderness!, Crime Sheen Investigation, Hypno-Birthday to You, Maximum Hugh, and Safety First. We also have an updated version of King of Mars without all those scrolling ads along the bottom and logos etc.

-Site work has come to a screeching hault as the school year gets into full swing, but come heck or high water (or possible just lots of homework) I WILL get those character profiles done...and hopefully the fanfiction section too (which is in horrible disrepair). I'm not sure about what to do regarding fanfics (I just don't have time to read/edit/HTML them, plain and simple). I might have to enlist someone's help to do this for me.

-That's all for now! More coming soon in the IDOJ jobs section for those of you not drowning in a sea of hw assignments!

Hey everyone!
I'm working on the fanfic section right now. The fanfics are trying to kill me. I'm sure if it. TOSOT is currently the closest to actually accomplishing that end, sitting as it is unfinished at 133 pages. I. must. write. more.

Oh, Bekboo! I finally got around to reading your fic! I really loved it. It was so sad! I can totally picture his dad and mom growing up next to each other in their little Mexican village...that part was so sweet, and it made the tragedy all the more heartwrenching. I loved the ending too...yay S/L! It wasn't overdone though, very sweet and genuine. Great job!

All of you whose fanfics I STILL haven't attended to, I'm sorry. **bows** I am slowly but surely making progress.

UPDATE :dance: [9/30/07]

-Um wow. I just spent like 2 hours updating all the fanfics and redesigning the look of the main fanfic page. Here it is: Go there NOW All I can say is that you better like it cause it took me forever <_<

-Anyway :lol: You may noticed that the "featured fanfics" no longer have their own page. This combination makes the fanfiction section easier to navigate, in my opinion. Thoughts on this?
Keep in mind that I'm not quite done yet (I haven't finished with the rules or submission section yet, and there are probably still some links that don't work right or some spelling mistakes). I'll try to fix these soon. I'm also hoping to add ratings to the fanfics (with aeharding's help) just to make the page more interactive.

Speaking of which...aeharding, I need to ask you some technical stuff about the automatic submission box you created.

-Other than that, IDOJ is still coming along nicely. Fanart section's done, fanfics are getting there, and character profiles are...well, let's just focus on the positive, shall we? ;)

And, I think it would be cool if there where a featured fanfics section... Updated & changed every month, but not just with admin stuff. To keep it organixed, it should have the fanfic of featured fanfics and the regular page. Maybe me and AlteredEgos could do a search bar thingy, later when it gets more crowded. Nice job on it, though! Just my ideas... B)

For the ratings, maybe a hide/open link? Like the one on my Email/forums thing? That would conserve a lot of space... And you wouldn't have to go to a new page, or see the ratings all at once. ^_^

Um, what do you mean the ' and " and boldness and italics don't work? I can see them fine on my computer. What kind of browser/connection do you have?

And ya, UltraSam sent me her fanfic. I really want her to send me Mission: Impossible as well, but no luck there. Offsite fanfics will (eventually) be ones that I link to on nick.com or fanfiction.net that haven't officially been sent to me or I haven't been given permission to use.

Speaking of which...starting soon I want links to ALL of you fave fanfics out there (and a reason as to why they should be featured on IDOJ). I don't want to link to all of ff.net here, so I only want the best and the brightest fanfics (so to speak). And NO, I will not display "Pain" ;) Otherwise, I'm open to any and all suggestions!

EDIT: Ah, I see what you mean Rachel. I have NO idea why it's doing that. I saved these in web format to save time HTMLing them normally, but apparently it did something wonky to the format. Aeharding, alteredegos, I believe the "save in web format" was your suggestion, so do you have any insight into what the problem might be and/or how to fix it?

OK, I fixed "the hunt" by cutting and pasting the text into a new html document. It sort of messed up the spacing in some parts, but there's really nothing I can do. There's nothing I can do about "it's a matter of life and death" at the moment either...if I try fixing it, it just massacres the spacing beyond anything that I can fix in a reasonable amount of time. We'll just have to wait for our computer geniuses to put in their two cents on the matter.

Ok, on UltraMom, the quotation marks, and apostrophes don't work. They come up as diamonds with question marks in them. Can someone with knowledge of this stuff please fix it. ^_^
