Agreeeed. I land ye all the black spot and call me together a summons. I propose, as gentlemen and gentleladies o' fortune, we commence a-pillagin' and a-commandeerin', as pirates are wont to do, in order that we might secure the miserly 4 dubloons. What say you?ARR!!! WHY BE I SO DANG BROKE!!!....
Uh, Arr.

*extremely tempted by offer*And I lack your insane comedic brilliance. Shall we swap? I do require a $3.99 shipping charge, of course.

*sigh* Nah! Even if I had your mad art skiIIz I would be too lazy to actually use them and the world would be deprived of your uniquely awesome drawing style! And I'm pretty sure that would cause the universe to collapse onto its self. That or life would just sucx. :ph43r:

Dear Lord. I am officially scarred for life now. After suffering some late-night Inuyasha withdrawels (Krista, you may understand) the other day, I decided to check out Urd-chan's (DA) famed Inu fanfic "Temple of the Dog", which is set in Ancient Egypt. The art looked great and in my naivete I thought to myself, "gee, this will be a great read". I had heard all sorts of great reviews and even though I rarely read Inuyasha fanfiction, I thought I'd make an exception in this case.
Unfortunately, I made a little mix-up. It turns out there are two versions of the fanfic...a more plot-based, PG-13 version on fanfiction.net, and an X-rated downright nosebleed-inducing "adult" version on another site. Naturally, of course, I ended up clicking on the link to the latter. I read through the first couple of chapters, admiring the author's creativity in combining Japanese and Egyptian traditions while at the same time maintaining the same spirit found in the anime. But then....chapter 7. I went from :) to  to :onfire: to :uhoh: . I didn't know it was possible for anything to BE that graphic, and I'm a college student now. ;)
So a word to the wise. Never, ever, EVER read the version of Temple of the Dog NOT found on fanfiction.net. Your eyes will bug out and you'll promptly collapse onto the floor in a sort of mini-seizure, before getting up and wandering around in a daze for the next couple of hours. Oh. My. God. I'm seriously not going to be able to write anything even remotely romantic in TOSOT for a couple of weeks after reading THAT.
There, now you know my pain. I'm off to try out for "acapirate", Brown's only Pirate Singing group. They dress up and wander around campus singing festive sea shanties and swearin' and plunderin' and engagin' in other pirately activ'ties, as they see fit. I hope I make it **anything to take my mind of ToTD**
