Cool, a fellow Trekkie. (Or do you prefer Trekker.) Hi!
-Live long and prosper.
Here's another possible reference.
In The Mighty Wheezers, Hugh and Judy go to the Burning Duck festival.
-The highlight of the festival is the burning of big wicker duck.
There's a 1973 movie called The Wicker Man. Its about a man investigating a missing person case, and a burning wicker figure is the climax of the film.
-The movie was remade in 2006.
I'm not sure if this is a reference though. Or just Jimmy Neutron being silly and weird. Because the Wicker Man is quite a grim film, with a horrific surprise ending.
-I don't think its the kind of thing Jimmy Neutron would reference.
But I thought I'd mention it all the same.

We talked in some topic about Libby's headgear in The Tomorrow Boys and how much it looked like Aku's headgear (or is it a PART of him?) from Samurai Jack. Well, I just realized that Galactus The Devourer of Worlds has a similar looking helmet (at least to the human eye... err, you'll get what I mean by that if you're an F4 fan)

So... yeah. It's possible that both Aku and Libby's headgear derived from Galactus :D

Both the JN episode and the Simpson episode where parodies of that old movie with Michael Keaton, Multiplicity, where he clones himselfI'm not very sure about this, but in a simpsons halloween special "Treehouse of horrors XIII" the first episode for the special was called "Send in the clones" and it was about homer buying a magic hammock, whic made him clone himself, then marge comes and gives him a list of chores to do, and he has an idea, to use the clones to do the chores, the rest is not relevant to JN, so what do you think?

Here's a few more references. I don't think they've been posted.
-I did read through the entire topic, but its a big topic!
These references are all from the Jimmy Neutron movie, Boy Genius.
When Sheen firsts meets Ultralord at Retroland, he is making a Star Trek reference with his hand. You know, Spock does it all the time
-The Vulcan sign of greeting and farewell. Two fingers on the hand spread apart to make sort of a V for Victory.
-"Live long and prosper!"
-Or did I say that already?
There's a ride at Retroland called Show Me the Mummy.
-That's a play on words. There's a famous line from the 1996 movie "Jerry Maguire," starring Tom Cruise. "Show me the money!"
When the Yolkians a pursuing Jimmy and the gang, and Libby turns and says "Incoming message!" - that's another Star Trek reference.
-Libby has a thing in her ear. Uhura on Star Trek was the communications officer and she often had a device in her ear and she often said "Incoming message!"
Finally, when the group are camped out on the asteroid and Nick is telling them a scary story, he's referring to a 1999 horror movie called The Blair Witch Project.
-The Blair Witch Project tells the story of three teenagers who go out into the woods to search for the Blair Witch. The entire movie is just them and video recorders. Like Nick says, they find stick figures in the woods, hear terrifying noises, leave the tent, and the girl's nose begins running and she has no tissue.
There it is.

Hey, I just discovered another reference that hasn't been mentioned, I don't think.
In one episode Carl says "Now I know why the caged bird sings."
That's a book! By Maya Angelou.
And according to Wikipedia, the title itself is from a poem:
The title of the book comes from the poem "Sympathy" by Paul Laurence Dunbar:
"I know why the caged bird sings, ah me,
When his wing is bruised and his bosom sore,
When he beats his bars and would be free;
It is not a carol of joy or glee,
But a prayer that he sends from his heart's deep core,
But a plea, that upward to Heaven he flings -
I know why the caged bird sings."
I don't know what the book is about. I think its autobiographical, about Civil Rights, and from what I gather its quite intense and graphic.
-The article I first read about this was a newspaper article about Banning Books, and "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" was called a Classic Under Fire, for the many times people have tried to ban it from libraries.
OH! The problem with this reference is I'm sad to say but I can't recall which Jimmy Neutron episode its from! How embarassing.
I'm pretty sure its from The Junkman, when the Junkman throws Jimmy, Sheen and Carl into his cell.
Cya!

But couldn't the Princess Butterface also reference The Princess Bride? You know, Princess ButterCUP? 8DIn Party at Neutrons when Sheen says "Me thinks the lady doth protest too much," That's a quote from Hamlet.
In Lights, Camera, Danger! Quentin Smithee is trying to convince Jimmy to not hire other actors and says something along the lines of "Cindy IS Princess Butterface!" A butterface is a slang used by (obnoxious) guys that describes a woman with a nice body but an ugly face, like "everything is fine but-her-face." Butterface. I'm not sure if they actually put that there on purpose or not.

Win, Lose and Kaboom:
The needleheads are a reference to the Coneheads.
When Carl eats the alien gut chunks, and asks Meldar for more he says: Please sir, may I have some more? This refers to Oliver Twist movie Oliver!
When sheen says (after the earth team first win): Can you smell what the Earth is cookin? This is a reference to the rock: Do You Smell what the Rock is cookin?
For the episode Stranded the title is references to the TV show Lost

The title of the episode My Big Fat Spy Wedding is a reference to the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding
For the Space Bandits:
Zix is a reference to Jon Lovitz

Travoltron is a reference to John Travolta

Tee is a reference to Mr. T

p.s. Technically, Jimmy should have said Frankenstein's monster. His creator's name was Frankenstein. The monster didn't really have a name.

Hey, I think I found another reference that hasn't been mentioned yet.
-First a few comments.
Jimmygang005: I think we mentioned the Space Bandits before, but it is totally cool that you provided pictures. Awesome!
Crash_7: This is a great Topic. I think you started it.
-Over in Updates I mentioned it, asking Mara if it was possible to make this Topic permanent. Because I fear we will run out of references, no one will post for months, and eventually this Topic will be pushed off of the Boards by New Topics.
-And to me, that would be a bummer.
-There's all kinds of great info in here. I think Newbies would love it.
Newbies: Start at the beginning and take your time reading through it! You'll find it worth your while.
ANYWAY ...
In "Who Framed Jimmy Neutron?" Jimmy, Carl and Sheen find Banjo Playing Boy.
-"It's right there in my Internet cafe!" Banjo Playing Boy says, and they yodel.
If you look at the computer screen, it says "YOKEL"
-A yokel is kind of like a hick.
-But the reference has GOT to be Google. The letters of Yokel are colored differently, like the Google logo, and if I remember the old commercials right, they used to yodel in them.
That's it!
Cya!

I just finished watching Young Frankenstein (ersomething) and I was thinking of the halloween special the whole time.
When Hugh turned into the monster, and was like, "Wish...I...could...walk...faster!", the music Sam was playing was the same Frankenstein played to attract the monster.
And, I think it was in the same episode, where someone said Frankenstein (probably Jimmy) and Sheen popped up and went, "Fronkenshteen".
That was a running joke in Young Frankenstein. At first, when people called him Frankenstein, he would go, "It's Fronkensteen!" because he was ashamed of his grandfather who was the infamous and original Dr. Frankenstein.

Gwen, I think someone did mention the "Fronkenstein" bit, but it's getting confusing.
-This Topic is huge!
I don't think anyone noticed Sam's music though. That's cool!
I'm bummed though. You mentioned the quote, "Wish. I. Could. Walk. Faster."
-I was going to use that in the Name That Episode Topic.
-I thought it a good and hilarious quote!
Speaking of hilarious, Sam was hilarious in that episode.
-Something like: "Get us some torches, some garlic, some silver, and a red haired woman named Tessy!"
-Hee-hee.
-Oh-no, I used another quote!
But anyway, here might be another reference from the same episode. I don't know if it has been mentioned yet or not.
-When Cindy talks about her Halloween costume, she says she's dressed as "Muffy the Vampire Annihilator."
-That's a reference to the movie "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," which wasn't too good, and to the World Famous "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" television show, which was a thousand times better than the movie.
-Buffy was a totally awesome show that starred Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy, the very cute Michelle Trachtenberg as her sister Dawn, and Alyson Hannigan as Buffy's magical friend Willow. (I like that name Willow - how original!)
-Buffy had fantastic stories, great villains, long intricate plots, and it was superbly done. As for Buffy herself, she was an intelligent and total bad-guy-butt-kicking beauty. (Who always had boyfriend troubles though.)
-And like Cindy, Buffy was a blonde too! So it was a good costume for Cindy.
Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure there's many more references in the Halloween episode.
-Carl says "Children of the Night." The real Dracula said that.
-When Carl is flying as a vampire bat, that music sure sounds familiar. Unfortunately, I can't place it. Is it a famous classical piece or from a horror movie?
Did anyone mention the High-Ho Silver Shop? Like the Lone Ranger show?
-(Silver was the Lone Ranger's horse, I think.)
That's it!
