Caught a reference in Operation: Rescue Jet Fusion. When Prof. Calamitus is having dinner with Jimmy and Jet, as he goes to leave, he breaks into the "I'm so glad we had this time together" song. That was the closing theme to the Carol Burnette Show. He even tugged on his ear like Carol Burnette did at the end of her show as a greeting to her mother. I missed this one before because I never really liked this episode and didn't really pay much attention to it.

Haven't done one of these in a while. In "The Great Egg Heist", Sheen refers to the princess as "pretty pretty pretty pretty Peggy Sue". That's a line from the old Buddy Holly song, "Peggy Sue". And the princess talks about her brother, "A Boy Named Sue". That's from the Johnny Cash song of the same name.

oh! I have some ( I don't know this was posted before :P ):

-the game "Florgus Ball" is VERY similar to "quidditch" of harry potter.

-In Cindy's bedroom there is a poster of the Space Girls, tha's an obviuos allution to the Spice Girls

-the game llamapaloza is a reference to the jamapaloza event.

-in the episode "birth of a salesman" in the beginning there are books like Gone with the Wind, Romeo and Juliet and Moby Dick, and in the end Willy quotes books like Harry Poter, Tale of Two cities, sherlock Holmes, the three musketeers etc.

-the invention in WLK (IDK if is the chrono arch) recemblance the arch in stargate.

-goddard is named after Robert Goddard the father of space rockets.

-Jimmy's hair is a little alike as Ace ventura apecially thet tuft both have.

-and i've heard (I think I read it in wikipedia, but IDK) that in one episode ( I can't remember which) in cindy's computerthere is a page that looks like IMDB.

- and the last one is that that monkey squad that I can't remember its name ( I hate my stupid mmry!! :grr: ) sounds like the series of the Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, but I don't know I just was thinking is kinda similar, I don't know what u think guys.

well that's all I have hope u liked it! :D

*deep breath* Ok, here's a big one. In "Beach Party Mummy", when Sheen is trying to open the secret passage the free Carl, he uses a random series of passwords. Here's where there all from.

Open Sesame: From "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves". It was the magic password to open the thieves cave containing their treasure.

Abracadabra: Common incantation used by stage magicians, possibly of Aramaic or Hebrew origin.

Mecca mecca hi mecca hiney hiney ho: Paraphrasing of the magic incantation used by Jambi the Genie on "Pee Wee's Playhouse".

Shama lama ding dong: That actually is a song by Otis Redding.

Karma karma chameleon: A song by Culture Club. (Who knew Sheen was a Boy George fan? )

A wop wop a loo wop a wop bam boom: Paraphrasing of Little Richard from the song "Tutti Frutti".

*whew!*

Dr. Carl on the kids' newscast in "Lady Sings The News" was a take off on Willard Scott, longtime weatherman from NBC's Today Show. Wishing ol' lady Nusbaum a happy birthday was a reference to Willard Scott's tradition of wishing centenarians happy birthday.

In "Broadcast Blues", when Sheen is pitching his idea for a show to Principal Willoughby, he says, "It's a show about nothing." That's a reference to Seinfeld, which was often referred to, even by its creators as a show about nothing.

Dunno if this one was mentioned or not either, I read through 6 of the 12 pages here...

In "Birth of a Salesman" Jimmy Titles the Salesman "Willy Loman 3000" Which, Willy Loman was the main Character in a play called "Death of a Salesman" which, ironically enough was about a failing salesman...

Just out of Curiosity, I think most people made the Connection that because they're in RETROVILLE, no one drives "New" Cars, but all retro pre 70's cars.

Did anyone take note of the Blue AC Cobra that shows up all over the place in traffic? [Or the Red (1958ish) Corvette that Judy Own's in the Movie?]

Ps: AC Cobra:

This might be already posted somewhere on this thread but the Title of the episode "Trading Faces (A Mind I s A Terrible Thing Two ways)" Is based of both Trading Spaces as well as the motto for the united Negro fund or something: A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Yep, I beat ya on that one, too. It's somewhere in this thread. It's the motto for the United Negro College Fund.

In Jimmy Goes to college...
I forget where it was now, but there was a Reference to Animal House [I think it was the "toga!" part...]

Which On a random note, Animal House was based off happenings at the university I attend :D ...pretty cool.

Wow I just read through all the 11 pages of this topic XD Anyways, it made me happy to see that people picked up on Sheen's use of Hamlet quotes (being my favorite play which I find myself re-reading every now and then). I wonder, is Sheen a Shakespearian?

Anyways, onto some small things that I picked up on...

The dance Jimmy does (right before Sheen tries to KILL him with a rock) when he gets the idea for a beach party in Beach Party Mummy is a refference to Billy Crystal's dance in City Slickers, something that cracked me up XD

In "The Tomorrow Boys" Sheen's walk down the runway is such an obvious spoof on Zoolander (which only makes the scene even greater)

Oh, and I almost fainted in "The Vanishing Act" when the gang does a Mario N64 (I'm a hardcore gamer) and jumps through a painting. I'm not sure if it IS an actual refference to the game, but it made my day

Those were just some of my FAVORITES, won't list everything I've seen...
so I might come back later with some more XD

...

And I'm not even going to BEGIN with all the Oz referrences (especiall in Win, Lose & Kaboom) the show uses... they're just TOO many (and frankly I sigh everytime I hear them)
