Every time I watch Bridgerton I think of how much Timeothy would revel in this kind of court gossip and match-making. He's was born to be a bored 19th century nobleman obsessed with salacious romance. What a shame he landed in the wrong era.

I binged all five episodes of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, after finding out about it from a Goodreads review of Jennette McCurdy's memoir. It was really hard to watch. I cried a lot during the third episode.

I definitely recommend watching it, though a quick trigger/content warning: it discusses emotional and sexual abuse, toxic work environment, sexism/misogyny, racism, sexual harassment of subordinates by their boss, and other sensitive topics.

So Ronan loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. And we've been really overworked and tired lately so we've been letting him watch a lot more than usual. And man. The laws of physics in this show are all sorts of fucked up lol. In one episode, the crew goes to Pete's Halloween costume party but the party doesn't start until the moon is full. It takes an hour for the moon to go from waning crescent to full, going backwards through the moon phases. In another episode, Mickey and Pluto are floating around inside bath bubbles but get stuck on top of a cloud because they're not heavy enough to go through and have to weigh themselves down with rubber duckies? It's just so bizarre. It's not even like normal cartoons where physics can be suspended for slapstick comedy reasons or just humor in general. These weird situations are always essential to the plot of the episode. It just leaves me and Tim staring at the screen like O.o

I pretty much binged the entire of my lady jane today/ yesterday. I read the book and I remember liking it, although, that was only true with the first book. The rest of the series did the same tone and it got old. Anyway, I thought the early episodes suffered a bit from "i'm not like other girls" syndrome, that got better as the series progressed. I had a good time! 

 

a few weeks ago, i also binged derry girls which was also a joy. i will be re-watching that eventually.

okay this is not important at all, but the entire time I was watching My Lady Jane I kept feeling like I'd seen Jane's mother before.....

Been obsessing about Demon Slayer recently. It's a good anime, my cousin made me watch and I'm so freaking hyped for Infinity Castle trilogies

I still need to finish that one. I watched seasons 1 and 2 but haven't got to 3 yet. I've been watching Black Butler this weekend. I'm on episode 4 and it's pretty good so far.

By S2, you mean you finished on Entertainment District Arc? The season grouping is pretty confusing for this series   the latest episode was outstanding, not gonna spoil but it was everything 

 

But so far, my favorite arc is the EDA hands down, but that might change when Douma or Kokushibo's part in the Infinity Castle releases.

OMG right, thank you! I think the actress name is Mary Elizabeth Winstead if I'm not mistaken. I also got to watch her part on Final Destination just recently and was kinda surprised why she's not that popular haha

lol so we showed Ronan Over the Garden Wall during the week leading up to Halloween. We weren't sure how he'd take to it, and honestly I thought it may be a bit much for him (even just the first episode has some spooky bits that may be scary to a younger kid). But he fucking loved it. He's asked to watch it again multiple times since finishing it, and asked to listen to the soundtrack as well. We're thinking about buying a stuffed bluebird for his Christmas stocking so he can have his own Beatrice (or Beetwiss, as he pronounces it).

Anyway, everytime I watch this show (an annual tradition in fall, usually in October) I discover new interesting things, like how the edges of the frame are always slightly blurred, and the random hints throughout that Greg and Wirt are from a more modern time than the people in the Unknown are, that sort of thing.

No, entertainment district is season 3 (according to Netflix) I finished Mugen Train arc... I'm stupidly behind on this show LOL idk why I can't bring myself to catch up w/ it. Although I will say Demon Slayer isn't the only anime I'm having trouble finishing ATM. (RIP Soul Eater and FMAB)

Oh makes sense. Other sites says EDA is the end of 2nd season while others says Mugen Train (like Netflix where I watched it too). If ever you get interested to pick-up again, lmk. I wanted to gush about it HAHAH /jk

Just finished Scavengers Reign. It was an immensely...alien experience. Very bummed it won't be getting a season 2.
