Haha, that segment in his review was hiLARious (and accurate). On a tangentially related note, I was amused to see him referencing the Onceler fandom in the recent Lorax episode. I REMEMBER when that fandom took over deviantart (though I will say that the majority of the artists who drew him did so because they adored his character design, not his personality. It was more of an aesthetic thing than the NC made it out to be). They also shipped him with both his pre-Onceler counterpart and a psychopathic/bloody version of himself, calling the former pairing "Oncest" and the latter "Swoncest". You can blame tumblr for that second part >.<

Oh jeez. I knew I shouldn't have put my Epic review on tumblr. Someone just literally wrote a DISSERTATION on why I am "wrong" about the film and how it's actually a masterpiece. They accused me of degrading "neuroatypical" people because I said MK's dad was a fruit loop. I also apparently missed the whole point of Nod and the Captain of the guard's relationship - that they are "dramatic foils" for one another (which I agree with...in the sense that one is a responsible guy and the other a thoughtless prat). They then insulted my intelligence and said it was a miracle that I had spelled "Nod" correctly. Finally they berated me for "tagging my hate"...which I didn't do, BTW. I didn't tag any of the characters I disliked, only queen Tara, under the assumption that her fans would also be pissed about her getting the chop in the first half hour. Sigh. I really should know better than to express an opinion on tumblr :facepalm:

I've never been so conflicted about actually JOINING that site... Half of me wants to join cuz of the JN fest there, but the other half says, "HELL, no!! Way too much vulgarity is mixed in with the stuff actually WORTH seeing!" Gah, my brain hurts!! :grr:

I'm pretty good at avoiding stuff I don't like and sticking with the things I love. Only really looking at my dashboard/favorite blogs and not much else.

Seriously! The tags are where all good sense and integrity go to die. The things I've seen in the JN tag alone are enough to scar me for life...and that's nothing compared to the time I searched Korra fanart back when I was a n00b...
