Went to a Boston Brony meetup yesterday. We formed a circle and sang SMILE SMILE SMILE on the Harvard Common. It was a good day.

Okay, so the finale was pretty much amazing. And this song...holy cow...so good...

 

 

 

Seriously. I think that's the most beautiful one-minute this show has ever had. In terms of music, animation, and feels. *huggles ponies*

I'm just going to keep posting in here, because I can and because no one else is.

 

But OMG. I just can't get it out of my head. (SPOILERS COMING) The first 13 minutes of this finale might be the best 13 minutes of any episode of My Little Pony to date. So many emotions, and such a beautiful message. Friends reminding each other of who they are when they lose their way...it's just so perfect.

 

I do love the entire finale, but those first 13 minutes...holy cow, they're just so emotional. I can't get over it. I've watched that part of the episode probably seven or eight times now, and it still gets me each time. So much conveyed in such a short amount of time, thanks to the superb writing, the musical nature of it all, and the facial expressions through the animation. And especially watching it after getting to know the ponies for almost two years now, it's just so heart-wrenching and then so SATISFYING. UGH I LOVE IT. I COULD JUST LOOP THAT PART OF THE EPISODE FOR ETERNITY AND BE HAPPY.

I was finally able to see to see it. I completely agree with this. THAT SONG! I don,t even know which one I am referring to they are all so catchy. I laughed pretty hard at this part

Ther's no time to explain, but we need your help. Applejack is trying to make dresses. "Say no more"

We do have a season four confirmed but I wonder how it is going to work with Twilight being a princess and all. Why is everyone a princess anyway? Twilight is fine to be one but Shining Armour and Cadense should be king and queen. Celestia and Luna are some sort of Goddeses. Why must they all be called princesses. Random thoughts: I can't get used to looking at Twilight with the wings. I wish clouds would arrange themselves like that. Is it bad that I actually liked one of Applejack's dresses? Gummi is great at breaking the fourth wall. I wish episode 11 and 12 were aired in the opposite order so you could spend episode 11 wondering " why the heck is spike there?"

Pretty much amazingly awesome. So much wonderful set-up, development, and continuity. This is looking to be a very promising season!

I'm disappointed they Discord is not as hilarious anymore. He is way better when he thinks nothing can beat him.

Really? The intro episodes for Season 4 had Discord, in my opinion, at his very best. I've never enjoyed him more than I did in the season opener. He was fine as a villain in Season 2, he was lame getting reformed in Season 3, but NOW he's finally awesome. Playing the grey area? Being wonderfully ambiguous? Never knowing which side he's on? I love it. I can't wait for more of this version of Discord!
