I happily jumped. "ADVENTURE!" I yelled, and bounded down the trail, leaving a comical trail of dust behind me. When I had covered about 1\100000th of a mile I yelled, "Hey guys! You coming?"

I, Atomic Anna, quickly fly in on my jetpack I built myself (not unlike our fave boy genius; you'll see it in the image I posted a while ago under the "Want to join the Neutron Knights?" topic) & announce, "I'm here! Where's everyone else?"

There's a loud explosion, and a large scarlet mushroom cloud blossoms into the air by one of the fighter jets. The Neutron Knights flee as a smoldering figure tumbles through the air and slams into the ground.

Isaac approaches the figure cautiously, who's attempting to rub a grease spot off her cheek.
"Uh, are you okay?" he asks warily.
"Ugh...yeah, I am!" the girl says brightly. "I'm Shok, by the way. One of the newer NKs. And apparently, I just blew up one of the fighter jets. Red Storm's not gonna be too happy."
"W-What were you doing, m-milady?" Wizard asks, readjusting his glasses.
A mischevious smile crosses Shok's face.
"Hot-wiring it."

(btw, try only to quote for your character. The other NKs can say what they need to on their own. I'll deal with the side characters, like I did with Red Storm)

And so the six unlikely and mismatched Neutron Knights started out on their fantastic journey.

"Sorry 'bout your fighter, Red Storm!" Shok yells. "I'll try to find a way to repay you for it!"
Wiping another spot of grease off her face, Shok turns to the others.
"C'mon! We can make this 16 miles in...two, three days tops if we get goin' now!"

"Okay, then!" I exclaimed, and pressed the "flight" button on my hand-made jetpack, it's large, red and yellow wings springing out in a flash.

"WE'RE GOING 16 MILES!" I yelled, bounding down the path. "So what's up with you guys?"

Edward took a moment to blink away his surprise at Shok's entrance--he still hadn't quite gotten used to the number of bizarre happenings that occurred on a near-daily basis this side of Neutronia.

Anxious to begin as soon as possible so that it would end as soon as possible, though, he began to meander off, not entirely sure of where they were going but making an effort of trying to start getting there anyway. It was a pity that his wings were out of commission--and they weren't being serviced by Red Storm, either. It was just that there was only so much the mechanical mishmash of clockwork and magic could do before it failed!

"Y-you're going to need to, er... wait up," he declared in the direction of the only jetpack'd Knight. "M-most of us are on foot!"

"Well, thanks to my hijacking a plane, I'm covered in grease, not to mention my electric supply," Shok holds up her wrists, showing her hematite wrist cuffs. "is greatly depleted. But, eh, could be worse."

[Beks]

With an unmistakable sputter, Atomic Anna's jetpack stalls, causing her to crash into the dirt road the other members of her group were following. It seemed like the intense speed at which she had been flying had permanetly damaged the internal mechanics, and without a way to service it in the woods, it seemed as though she would be hiking as well.

I smile pulling a hose out.
"Shok, cover any electric parts." I say, spraying the grease off.

"Hey!" I yelled, "That was only a PROTOTYPE!!!! I've yet to construct the actual mechanism!!!!!!" I then ran up to the rest of them, then remembered I had my INDESTRUCTIBLE jetpack in my hypersphere! I pulled it out and strapped it on my back, pressing the ignition button on it. Remember, it's INDESTRUCTIBLE!!!

I reach out, grabbing her leg and taking her down to the ground.
"I don't think so. We're walkin, so are you."

Issac wrist communicator beeps, and the holigraphic image of Writer Woman appears. "I agree with Issac on this one, Anna. You guys need to stick together, so if one person has to walk, everyone else does too. I'm sorry."

"Thanks, Double W."

"I'm sure it's not that bad Anna." I remarked, throwing her a canteen. "It'll be fun!"

"Okay, fine!" I muttered, taking off my jetpack & putting it back in my hypersphere. Then I think, Wait'll JIMMY gets a load of THIS!! Then I added, "Okay, walking it is!"
