Oh FYI, when the forum move happens I will be here the whole time, release a new thread stating it, and it'd be WAY SMOOTHER than this. So if something random happens and I don't post about it, it has nothing to do with the forum move. Like this problem. ;)

FYI, the deal with the senior members is that they have a green highlighted name. To get this, if you have over 1,200 posts, post again and you will be automatically promoted.

Admins are red colored.


Besides the special colors, this does nothing ATM, except when we move it will make senior member able to attach more stuff, embed HTML etc. :dance:

Basically a security measure that doesn't really sound like a security measure... It prevents people from posting maliculous HTML and random uploading to bog down the server when we move etc.

Hey Alex, if you're going to change colors, perhaps we should have a vote on what color goes to what category?

Or, as Kaz suggested, that might lead to some disagreements. Maybe we should just have a separate color for admins, and nobody else (LOL, sorry guys). Otherwise the distinctions might become confusing, especially to new members.

ok, Mara! That sounds fair. :)

I just see it used in so many other places. ;) We can remove the color, but we have to keep the user group 'senior members' because of the upload stuff that reasons I mentioned earlier.

What if the oldies [senior members lol *shot*] are bolded? Like you currently see on the active list thingy. Then you can find senior admins, but it's not distracting to new members?
