I was gunna say #2 but on 2nd glance, I like #1 a little better. Assuming the skirt's the only difference, of course.

Ooh, that's purdy, Mara!

I think the second one looks more 'real'. Considering everything's blowing in one direction, the skirt looks kinda funny all billowy like it is in the first pic. S'just me, tho'!

I agree...but in the end I went with the first for two reasons. One, because the sort of "floating" effect in the original fits well with the spacey, surreal theme I'm going for (you'll see) and two, because it's the first one I drew, and I usually end up hating it if I don't go with my first instinct. Anyway I started coloring it and it looks amazing, so ya...

UPDATE :drool: [10/10/07]

-Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't made any kind of intelligent update lately. I only have like 5 min right now before I have to leave for my computer science lab, but I'll try to crank out as much as possible.

-Firstly, a slew of new episodes have been uploaded (thanks again to Flank), but I haven't updated the episode download page yet because the site administrator interface was being wonky. I'll try to do that tonight, if I have time - beforehand I have to memorize a bunch of hieroglyphics, read a book, do my laundry, clean my room in preparation for moving tomorrow, buy my Dad a birthday present, start a paper, and finish my picture for Brown's up-and-coming anime magazine (I'm a cover artist!). So ya. Now you see what my night is going to be like. :lol:

-TOSOT update: TOSOT hates me. I haven't written much of anything, to be honest. Anyone interested in beating me over the head for being a total slacker can feel free to do so at any time.

-As usual, aeharding is responsible for a really good idea: we should get IDOJ more advertising! Check out the IDOJ advertising topic under IDOJ Jobs if you have any ideas on how to make this site (more) famous (than it already is). ;)

-That's all I have time for right now. I'll give a full update on the main page later!

P.S. Anybody have any ideas about how we can go about getting formal "permission" from Keith Alcorn to have the episodes on the site (like planet-irth.com used to have)? I really don't feel like getting my butt sued off any time soon, athankyouverymuch.
