Well I, for one, urge you not to abandon your fanfic then.
-As you can see there are many people who would love to see it continue.
It is a totally cool idea and very well done.
Last I heard, you had writer's block.
But if you should become inspired, and make it online to IDOJ, we'd love to see more!
