It's just my opinion. I like dark, deep, and dramatic romances with loads of tension. It's the thespian in me. (Theatre/dramatics rat) Kataang would be a good ship, but I honestly think that Aang is too young. I mean, I'm Katara's age, and that'd be like me dating a 7th grader, which is just weird in my opinion. I'd go out with a Junior, though, which is the equivilant of Zuko.
I'm not flaming the ship, honestly. I don't hate it. I just like other ones better, is all.

The thing is that they are going to grow up, Aang's not always going to be 12...112..whatever :P , emotionally he has already grown so much since the first episode and soon physically he'll grow too.Aang is too young. I mean, I'm Katara's age, and that'd be like me dating a 7th grader
Plus I don't think they'll get together romantically right now, they have bigger things to worry about at the moment, I think (as do many of my fellow Kataang shippers) that when/if they get together it wont be until they are older :) (if they survive  )

I agree. I think that a long-term future relationship is a big draw for Kataang, and it's also what Zutara shippers don't understand. Zutara shippers want relationships RIGHT here RIGHT now. I frankly think they're ALL too young to be seriously involved with another person. Instead I think about what they'd be like when they're older, what their obligations would be, and how their cultural heritages and values would shape them. When you examine all those factors, I think Kataang would be the better, happier long-term match.I don't think they'll get together romantically right now, they have bigger things to worry about at the moment, I think (as do many of my fellow Kataang shippers) that when/if they get together it wont be until they are older :) (if they survive  )

Exactly :)When you examine all those factors, I think Kataang would be the better, happier long-term match.
I don't think Zutara is a bad idea, it's just not my thing. :)
I can see them being friends, but not getting together romantically. Just like Purple_Sparkle said, if Zutara is gonna happen, they should stop the Kataang moments and give us Zutara ones. But they aren't, and they are increasing the Kataang moments, which is making me very happy :D
It's difficult to predict Zutara's future, but Kataang has a more clear, easier to see future. So..that's my opinion. ^_^

I think so too ^_^When you examine all those factors, I think Kataang would be the better, happier long-term match.

Ditto :wub:they are increasing the Kataang moments, which is making me very happy :D
And those moments/hints include showing that Katara might be developing romantic feelings for Aang (that's how I see it anyway) so again why would they slowing show/develop that if it's not going to be Kataang in the long run? It would have been better if they hadn't given us those particular hints if Kataang isn't what they are going for.

Yeah I mean if it's not Kataang shouldn't they just start up the Zutara moments? If you keep giving us all these moments and it's Zutara, that would be one of the most hugest mistakes :P But, the Zutarians (not anyone here, of course!) they want to Zutara NOW, just NOW. Why not wait for they're attitudes to change and develop first before really starting the relationship? :)And those moments/hints include showing that Katara might be developing romantic feelings for Aang (that's how I see it anyway) so again why would they slowing show/develop that if it's not going to be Kataang in the long run? Zuko's putting the necklace on Katara, and most of us know if you put it around a girl your proposing to them...I think. What do you guys think???

Here is a transcript of what happens (transcript from Avatar Spirit
(Cut to a shot of Katara’s neck, where suddenly her mother’s necklace appears. The shot expands to reveal Zuko holding it in place and shock moving across Katara’s features. Zuko walks away with the necklace.)
Katara: My mother’s necklace! How did you get that?
Zuko: I didn’t steal it, if that’s what you’re wondering. Tell me where he is.
Katara: No!
I honestly don't see that as foreshadowing Zutara, or as romantic, but that's just me :)
Plus I think a guy making and giving a girl an engagement necklace is proposing, not just putting it on :)
Hmm now that I think about it Aang made and gave Katara a pretty necklace ;)
