But honestly I didn't see that scene (the preview) as romantic. I just don't see anything romantic happening between them, but I can see them becoming friends :)

Again if Zutara were to happen then they'd stop all these Kataang moments they're throwing at us :D but they keep on coming, and the latest one's are my favorite by far!

Yeah. :) Maybe a friendship/rival thing, like Jimmy/Cindy? Kataang is the most obvious one. Some pairings just exist in fanfiction...Cindy/Sheen...Sora/Riku (don't ask)...blah blah. Anyway, Zutara is okay...I'm more of a Zoph, Kataang, sometimes Taang, and when I'm bored, Jetara. I support Susokka, Zoph, Kataang, Taang, Jetara, etc. xD

I would like to take this opportunity to point out that Zutara is SO obviously fanbait written into the script to please certain viewers.

I GREATLY dislike the whole "opposites attract OMGZ Katara's gonna heal his deep-seated wounds" ploy that Zutara fans are so fond of. It's SOOO massively cliche.

OK, so maybe it's a more "exciting" romance that Kataang, considering Katara and Aang are actually FRIENDS, but here's where my conflict lies: why can't the nice guy EVER get the girl??? Aang is such a nice, compassionate, spiritual person. Why do girls always go for the bad guy? It's so annoying to me. And what's gonna happen to poor Aang if Katara does fall for Zuko (which is, as I've mentioned before, WAY to predictable and cliche for my taste)?

Maybe the writers are merely creating a love triange to increase dramatic tension. Who knows? They seem fond of those kind of things. Still, I can't understand why there just can't be a simple, friendship based, happy relationship instead of a tormented, uber-melodramatic one. Aang and Katara are SO sweet together. Why must this happen??? OK, end rant.
