whenever he's around Future Libby, it annoys me how he acts like a sex-deprived beast.

I ROFLed. He totally does.

Thanks so much for filling this out, Lizz! You have NO idea how grateful I am. Hugs x 1000

Faves!
1) What part of the story did you most enjoy?
I think I enjoyed the emotion rooms best cuz they brought out things in the kids we haven't seen before, and also cuz of Jimmy's quote: "I have all the desirable qualities in a mate! I'm youthfully rubicund and obstetrically capacious!" ROFL
2) What’s your favorite line/quote from the story?
Definitely this one by Young Jimmy: "Because you would've killed me if you knew. You can't just saunter up to a girl and go 'Hey, guess what? I just got naked in your body and splashed some sudsy water on myself.' That kind of statement tends to elicit a negative reaction."
3) What, in your opinion, is Mara's greatest strength as a writer (characterization, sensory descriptions, etc.)? What could she improve on? (and no, "omg you're perfect don't change anything" doesn't count as an answer)
Nothing! I love it just the way it is! Scratch that, here's the real answer:
Strength: Everyone was well in-character throughout the whole thing! ^_^
Could Improve On: There was just a tad much description on the locations of the characters and the scenery, although I was able to picture it quite well; it was just really wordy...

Characters
1) Who is your favorite male character, and why? (If you absolutely can’t pick one, name your top two)
FJ, cuz I adore a drop-dead gorgeous future genius without the evil!! <3
2) How about your favorite female character (same goes for this one)?
Aurora, cuz she's totally kick-ass and still retains a lot of her childhood qualities!
3) Who is your least favorite character, and what made you dislike him/her?
DJ, cuz of how he manipulated his victims with his intellect in an evil way; made me incredibly sad for our future boy genius in the AU... Constrained by the megalomanium... *sigh*
4) In your view, what character in the story grew the most/had the most challenges to overcome? Who had it the easiest?
Definitely Jimmy and Cindy! Sure they started out argumentative and caused the gang to be swept into the AU, but they learned to get along a HECKUVA lot better near the end!
And Sheen, cuz he can make a horrible experience like they had drop-dead HILARIOUS!!!

Character Relationships
1) What was your favorite pairing (canon or otherwise)?
J/C all the way!!! Oh, and FJ/A!! That much angst, masochism, and depression combined with stubbornness and zeal make for some killer ragesex (I never said THAT!!) "therapy sessions", if ya know what I mean... :naughty:
2) How about your least favorite?
Thought about it, but I just can't choose one I dislike!
3) Fave crack pairing?
Does not compute.
4) What was your favorite shipping moment?
When Jimmy and Cindy were discussing the time they switched minds
5) Were there any pairings that you wanted to see happen that didn’t?
FLxNav, cuz it might've been interesting
6) Which friendship did you like best? (ex: Aurora/FL, Aurora/April, etc.)
Definitely Aurora/FL!!
7) Is there anything that sticks out in your mind about the way TOSOT portrays women vs. men?
The fact that Cindy as a child took it too far and sprayed Jimmy with the megalomanium out of anger, and that women can just do just about anything men can do!! Total "kick-assery"!!

JN Universe
1) In your opinion, which future character seemed to be the most realistic version of their younger counterpart? Who was more of a stretch?
Aurora, since she seemed to retain most of her childhood qualities; and FS, who was almost unrecognizable due to the experiments and genetic manipulation
2) Which character from the JN gang was best portrayed? Worst portrayed?
They were all very well portrayed overall, though the slash in the emotion rooms were a bit much
3) Who do you think changed the most as a result of the adventure?
The J/C relationship especially, not to mention the AU's fate
4) What plot point was the best “tie-in” with the TV show?
Again, the "Trading Faces" reference!!!

“Stuff You’d See on Your English Test”
1) What are some of the major themes you see at work in this story? (Themes are broad, overarching concepts – for example: the nature of evil, redemption, etc.)
Consequences of one's actions and good vs. evil
2) If you had to pick ONE word to describe what the story is “about”, what would it be?
AWESOMESAUCE!!!!!

Miscellaneous
1) Which illustration is your favorite? (post a link or describe it)
Aurora portrayed at different ages
2) Look-wise, who has the best character design?
FJ, cuz he's frikkin' H-A-W-T, minus the evil, which I find epically attractive
3) If you’re a fangirl/fanboy, who is the object of your affections and why? If you’re not a fangirl/boy, pretend you are anyway and answer the question.
FJ, see previous answer.

I'm going to fill out my own survey like the narcissistic bastard that I am from a writer's perspective! (I won't be entered into the drawing for a commission, obviously).

Faves!
1) What part of the story did you most enjoy? "Winner Take All"...the first part of DJ and Aurora's fight was the first major fight scene I'd ever written, and man was it cool.
2) What’s your favorite line/quote from the story? "When we first met, she was a lanky, oppositional teenager with a killer right hook and perpetual helmet-hair." -Nav
3) What, in your opinion, is Mara's greatest strength as a writer (characterization, sensory descriptions, etc.)? What could she improve on?
Good: creating distinct personalities, building tension in character interactions
Bad: explaining how physical spaces are structured, overusing adjectives and adverbs, referring to self in third person on surveys

Characters
1) Who is your favorite male character, and why? Nav. Duh.
2) How about your favorite female character? Aurora. She's the most complex character I've ever written, and I absolutely love her. Even when she's being a total bitch, she's so sympathetic and relatable.
3) Who is your least favorite character, and what made you dislike him/her? Carl. Writing for him is like trying to coax one-liners out of a piece of cardboard.
4) In your view, what character in the story grew the most/had the most challenges to overcome? Who had it the easiest?
Grew the most: Aurora
Had it the easiest: Libby (both)

Character Relationships
1) What was your favorite pairing (canon or otherwise)? Aurora x Future Jimmy. All hail the pseudo-S&M angsty codependent nerd love!
2) How about your least favorite? Future Libby x Future Sheen. At first I really liked them, but by the end I was fed up with their mushiness.
3) Fave crack pairing? ;) Goddard x Sheen's leg
4) What was your favorite shipping moment? "You already have everything you want, Neutron."
"Not quite."
Sue me
5) Were there any pairings that you wanted to see happen that didn’t? Aurora x Nav. My own fault that it didn't happen, obviously
6) Which friendship did you like best? I rather like the April-Aurora-Nav friendship. I'd like to write more about their past hijinks.
7) Is there anything that sticks out in your mind about the way TOSOT portrays women vs. men? All their relationships are very destructive. Aurora and DJ...that's obvious. Nav and April...well, Nav's death really throws April for a loop and basically ruins her relationship with Aurora. FL and FS...even though they seem sweet on the surface, FL goes back to earth with FS at the expense of her friendship with Aurora and her desire to do something more with her life than sit around Shangri Llama. Lee and April is destructive in the sense that Lee is unable to move on with his life due to his unrequited love (though Word-of-Mara says they will eventually end up together yay). I am convinced that the romance in this novel indicates all sorts of deeply-seated psychological issues on my part >.<

JN Universe
1) In your opinion, which future character seemed to be the most realistic version of their younger counterpart? Who was more of a stretch? I personally think DJ really makes sense as an evil version of Jimmy ;) Future Carl seems like a stretch to me; I'm not sure I ever really pegged his personality, either.
2) Which character from the JN gang was best portrayed? Worst portrayed? Best: probably Jimmy or Sheen. I can write a mean nerd :bock: Worst: Carl. As usual.
3) Who do you think changed the most as a result of the adventure? Cindy
4) What plot point was the best “tie-in” with the TV show? The megalomanium, since it basically drove the whole plot. I've always been fond of the role the matrix generators played in making Planet Gorlock a major player in the war, though...

“Stuff You’d See on Your English Test”
1) What are some of the major themes you see at work in this story? (Themes are broad, overarching concepts – for example: the nature of evil, redemption, etc.) The cost of a single action, the 'dark side' inside each person, critically examining oneself, revenge, sacrifice, love, epic lulz
2) If you had to pick ONE word to describe what the story is “about”, what would it be? [link]

Miscellaneous
1) Which illustration is your favorite? (post a link or describe it) December 11th: [link]
2) Look-wise, who has the best character design? Future Sheen. His design is the most unique, IMO (I'd say Aurora, except she looks just like freakin' Samus Aran)
3) If you’re a fangirl/fanboy, who is the object of your affections and why? Look-wise, DJ is really more my type, but Nav's personality makes him my baby daddy

Faves!

1) What part of the story did you most enjoy? The emotions room... LOL! I laughed so hard I cried.
2) What’s your favorite line/quote from the story? this is a lame sauce answer but I am super indecisive. There were so many funny parts. :) I'm sure if I thought super long and hard, I'd come up with something, but I don't have the will or motiviation. :)
3) What, in your opinion, is Mara's greatest strength as a writer (characterization, sensory descriptions, etc.)? What could she improve on? (and no, "omg you're perfect don't change anything" doesn't count as an answer) Characterization. All of the characters felt so real. Hard to do. Things to improve on, format. On fanfic.net it was way better, but honestly the format on the IDOJ main site kind of confused me with the asterixs and what not. Not that it'll matter much since you are done writing fanfics. :D

Characters

1) Who is your favorite male character, and why? (If you absolutely can’t pick one, name your top two) Nav, you just wrote him so well. And of course, Jimmy.
2) How about your favorite female character (same goes for this one)? Aurora, no doubt.
3) Who is your least favorite character, and what made you dislike him/her? Honestly? Future Libby. She just seems a bit too.... perfect? I know that's a totally shallow answer but I had a hard time swallowing her at times.
4) In your view, what character in the story grew the most/had the most challenges to overcome? Who had it the easiest? Aurora I think had the most to overcome, and I think Future Libby had it the easiest.

Character Relationships

1) What was your favorite pairing (canon or otherwise)? Two guesses. ;) Jimmy/Cindy and FJ/Aurora. :D
2) How about your least favorite? AuroraX Nav but only because I'm a complete geek. I know it didn't really happen, and I was glad cause for a while I thought you might and then I would have to torch you. ;) But seriously, maybe Sheen/Libby because Libby sort of turns him into an .... animal. :D
3) Fave crack pairing? ......
4) What was your favorite shipping moment? Def. when Jimmy loses Goddard and Cindy comforts him, a rare moment of beautiful sympathy
5) Were there any pairings that you wanted to see happen that didn’t? hmmmm...
6) Which friendship did you like best? (ex: Aurora/FL, Aurora/April, etc.) Libby/ Aurora because they have always been friends... it just made me think of my best friend.
7) Is there anything that sticks out in your mind about the way TOSOT portrays women vs. men? Women don't need a hero. They can be kick ass and be just as cool and totally sexy.

JN Universe

1) In your opinion, which future character seemed to be the most realistic version of their younger counterpart? Who was more of a stretch? Aurora was the most realistic to me for some reason, it's hard to put my finger on why.. it just was. Future Carl was more of a stretch for me.
2) Which character from the JN gang was best portrayed? Worst portrayed? Jimmy. Cause I love him. Worst portrayed? carl... cause he's carl. *hugs carl*
3) Who do you think changed the most as a result of the adventure? The way the kids see themselves. I don't think you can go through something like that and not see what bad and good potential you have.
4) What plot point was the best “tie-in” with the TV show? Oh the tie ins to the meglomanium, wonderful way to drive the plot, Mara! :) I loved that! I kept thinking, man that is a SUPER cool plot NICK. make it, NOW!

“Stuff You’d See on Your English Test”

1) What are some of the major themes you see at work in this story? (Themes are broad, overarching concepts – for example: the nature of evil, redemption, etc.) I loved the theme of redemption. Beautiful. I know this isn't a theme, but I'll mention it anyway. The way that you dealt with the sort of 'the evil within'. How our worst enemy is often ourselves. That is just something that stuck with me..
2) If you had to pick ONE word to describe what the story is “about”, what would it be? The future. Duh. ;) Just kidding. Let's see, hope. I know it probably doesn't make sense to a lot of people. But Aurora never gives up hope..... or at least that's the impression I got.

Miscellaneous

1) Which illustration is your favorite? (post a link or describe it) Consumed
2) Look-wise, who has the best character design? Female: Aurora. She's just so........ awesome. Male: Future Jimmy
3) If you’re a fangirl/fanboy, who is the object of your affections and why? If you’re not a fangirl/boy, pretend you are anyway and answer the question. Ohhhhh..... FJ or Jimmy, duh. :)

Faves!
1) What part of the story did you most enjoy?
Right when Future Jimmy woke up after being in that coma, and he and Aurora talked

2) What’s your favorite line/quote from the story?
"I have always been a firm believer in the merits of delegation…" - DJ

3) What, in your opinion, is Mara's greatest strength as a writer (characterization, sensory descriptions, etc.)? What could she improve on? (and no, "omg you're perfect don't change anything" doesn't count as an answer)
Good: writing style, characters, funny one-liners
Improve on: simplifying details, being more brief (350 pages is too long)

Characters
1) Who is your favorite male character, and why? (If you absolutely can’t pick one, name your top two)
Dictator Jimmy, because like I've said before, what's so creepy about him is how SANE he is. Normally you think of psychopathic killers as being insane, but he's actually saner than everyone else. I also really like Lee.

2) How about your favorite female character (same goes for this one)?
Aurora.

3) Who is your least favorite character, and what made you dislike him/her?
April. I don't think her character was developed enough for my tastes.

4) In your view, what character in the story grew the most/had the most challenges to overcome? Who had it the easiest?
Aurora had to go through a lot, but so did April, which is again why I would have liked her background and story explored more. Easiest is Future Libby cause she was pampered by the monks and her burn wounds on her hand were quickly healed.

Character Relationships
1) What was your favorite pairing (canon or otherwise)?
Aurora and Future Jimmy. I actually like how awkward he is now and how she's the boss.

2) How about your least favorite?
Nav and April. They just didn't really go together, I guess.

3) Fave crack pairing? ;)
Future Carl x those creepy animal robots

4) What was your favorite shipping moment?
I actually liked a lot of the scenes where kid Sheen was hitting on Future Libby...it cracked me up for some reason.

5) Were there any pairings that you wanted to see happen that didn’t?
Lee X April, if only for Lee to get more screen time.

6) Which friendship did you like best? (ex: Aurora/FL, Aurora/April, etc.)
Aurora and FL was sweet, even if FL was too girly for me sometimes.

7) Is there anything that sticks out in your mind about the way TOSOT portrays women vs. men?
Nobody us capable of having a normal relationship they're all messed up in their own ways

JN Universe
1) In your opinion, which future character seemed to be the most realistic version of their younger counterpart? Who was more of a stretch?
Dictator Jimmy made sense in the context of the story. I think Future Sheen was the biggest stretch for me, I didn't like his backstory

2) Which character from the JN gang was best portrayed? Worst portrayed?
Best was Jimmy, worst was Carl

3) Who do you think changed the most as a result of the adventure?
Cindy probably

4) What plot point was the best “tie-in” with the TV show?
The JN villains showing up in the chapter "the Council"

“Stuff You’d See on Your English Test”
1) What are some of the major themes you see at work in this story? (Themes are broad, overarching concepts – for example: the nature of evil, redemption, etc.)
The evil within, the power to change yourself if you don't like where you're headed, coping with unimaginably bad stuff

2) If you had to pick ONE word to describe what the story is “about”, what would it be?
"Choices"

Miscellaneous
1) Which illustration is your favorite? (post a link or describe it)
This one: thinktank

2) Look-wise, who has the best character design?
I like DJ's suit

3) If you’re a fangirl/fanboy, who is the object of your affections and why? If you’re not a fangirl/boy, pretend you are anyway and answer the question.
Probably Future Jimmy who is kinda angsty and messed up, but also quiet and geeky and occasionally scary, which I like.

Crys's turn!
Faves!
1) What part of the story did you most enjoy?
<sarcasm/>Cliff hangers! They’re the best!<sarcasm>
I loved the council scene. It’s definitely my absolute favorite which is quickly followed by the final battle between
Dictator Jimmy and Aurora.

2) What’s your favorite line/quote from the story?
Basically any of Nav’s lines. This one’s my fav though: “Mind telling me who this Pete character of yours is anyway? 'Cause he definitely isn't good enough for you, so stop seeing him.”

3) What, in your opinion, is Mara's greatest strength as a writer (characterization, sensory descriptions, etc.)? What could she improve on? (and no, "omg you're perfect don't change anything" doesn't count as an answer)
Strength: Background/sensory descriptions.
Improve on: Ummmmm. Timely updates. Actually, I would love to know a bit more background to some of the minor(ish) characters like April and Lee. That might make me like them more.

Characters
1) Who is your favorite male character, and why? (If you absolutely can’t pick one, name your top two)
Nav and Dictator Jimmy.
Nav, because I like a guy with a good sense of humor, and his character has great depth. I love the fact that he steals so that he can raise money to buy his home planet to take care of the injustices towards women. He has a very fleshed out character.
Dictator Jimmy because how can you not want to just walk up to him, pinch his cheek, and say, “Who’s a cute little dictator?”

2) How about your favorite female character (same goes for this one)?
Ummm. This is a tough one. I’m going to go with Aurora. I like her drive and ability to work a plan on the fly.

3) Who is your least favorite character, and what made you dislike him/her?
Lee, but I think it’s because I relate too much to his character. Being stuck in a world of unrequited love sucks mucho!

4) In your view, what character in the story grew the most/had the most challenges to overcome? Who had it the easiest?
Dictator Jimmy had the most challenges to over come. I mean seriously! Why can’t Aurora just leave him alone already!!!!!!! JK!

Aurora had the most challenges. She turned her crush into a Galactic Dictator who destroyed anything that stood against him, had her entire planet destroyed because she decided not to go with the Dictator, thought her best friends were gone, had to stand up to everyone that she’s tried to prove herself to over the years with the Council and now is a wanted criminal who will probably spend the rest of her life running from the wizard cops space cops.

I would say the kids had the least amount of challenges, but I never include the kids in anything, because they’re accessories to the story, so I would definitely say FL had it the easiest. I see her as a tool to bring forth internal emotional dialog from Aurora that she wouldn’t say to anyone and since we can’t get into her head, it’s necessary to bring in a character to aid that and to introduce us to FS’s character. Yes she said she doesn’t just want to be a pretty girl in a dress anymore, but still she’d be a butt kicking pretty girl in a dress.

Character Relationships
1) What was your favorite pairing (canon or otherwise)?
Favorite pairing? Dictator Jimmy/Aurora for the obvious hatesex reasons.

2) How about your least favorite?
Nav/April. I just don’t understand how they work as a couple.

3) Fave crack pairing?
Dictator Jimmy/Future Sheen. Teehee. Experiments. Posted Image Need I say more?

4) What was your favorite shipping moment?
Uhhh…. I don’t remember. I do like Future Sheen and Future Libby’s reunion.

5) Were there any pairings that you wanted to see happen that didn’t?
Me/Dictator Jimmy

6) Which friendship did you like best? (ex:Aurora/FL, Aurora/April, etc.)
Dictator Jimmy/Future Carl: that whole dominate/submissive thing gets me going. Actually I really love Aurora/Nav’s friendship. I would love to have a friend like Nav. If I couldn't date Nav, I would love to have him as a friend.

7) Is there anything that sticks out in your mind about the way TOSOT portrays women vs. men?
Sucks to be men! Most of the girls in this story have some sort of decent resolutions to their problems. Future Sheen gets tortured and experimented for most of his life. Dictator Jimmy has to deal with Aurora. Pansy Jimmy has to deal with the fall out from Dictator Jimmy’s crap. Future Carl’s just a pansy who is stuck catering to a ruthless megalomaniac and gets conscripted by April to deliver awful news to Nav’s sister. Lee is stuck in love with a girl who would possibly never love him back. And for God’s sake WHY DID YOU HAVE TO KILL NAV??!!?!!!!! WHY!?@?!?@?!@?!??!? I am going to go weep now in a corner all over again. You just had to bring him up again!!!! WHY?!!1?! Posted Image

JN Universe
1) In your opinion, which future character seemed to be the most realistic version of their younger counterpart? Who was more of a stretch?
Given the life circumstances behind all of the characters, I would say that most of them are realistic. The only one that I would be different is Future Carl. I think don’t think he would have just rolled over and taken Dictator Jimmy’s orders. Younger Carl would have questioned Jimmy a little more than I think Future Carl did.

2) Which character from the JN gang was best portrayed? Worst portrayed?
Gothic Carl! He’s the best! Actually I think they were all portrayed very well. I don’t have any criticisms for that.

3) Who do you think changed the most as a result of the adventure?
I think that Jimmy and Cindy will have changed the most. They’re seeing first hand how their constant bickering can destroy the galaxy. I think if there were to be a sequel involving the kids, you’d find them to be a little more cautious about their words and actions.

4) What plot point was the best “tie-in” with the TV show?
Uhhhh…. I love the history behind Dictator Jimmy’s creation. Meglomanium and Libby’s birthday party.

“Stuff You’d See on Your English Test”
1) What are some of the major themes you see at work in this story? (Themes are broad, overarching concepts – for example: the nature of evil, redemption, etc.)
Don’t piss off an evil dictator?Posted Image
Evil lies within us, and we must fight against it lest we become the monster we’re fighting against.

2) If you had to pick ONE word to describe what the story is “about”, what would it be?
This

Miscellaneous
1) Which illustration is your favorite? (post a link or describe it)
This.

2) Look-wise, who has the best character design?
Future Sheen. Seriously badass and hot!!

3) If you’re a fangirl/fanboy, who is the object of your affections and why? If you’re not a fangirl/boy, pretend you are anyway and answer the question.
Nav and Dictator Jimmy. Something about bad boys. Rowr!

Faves!
1) What part of the story did you most enjoy?
Definitely the emotion maze. That love potion room pretty much made my year.

2) What’s your favorite line/quote from the story?
"And your nerdy little genius routine makes me so hot..."

3) What, in your opinion, is Mara's greatest strength as a writer (characterization, sensory descriptions, etc.)? What could she improve on? (and no, "omg you're perfect don't change anything" doesn't count as an answer)
Good: alternating serious narrative with comic relief, but not so much so that we're distracted from the overall story
Improve on: openings. The first couple chapters are a bit slow.

Characters
1) Who is your favorite male character, and why? (If you absolutely can’t pick one, name your top two)
Future Sheen. I really like how we can see little bits of his childhood personality show through at times, but he's still a product of the tragedies he's endured over the past decade.

2) How about your favorite female character (same goes for this one)?
April. Her mannerisms and sparse knowledge of human social structures is amusing. It's a really great contrast to Aurora's extensive knowledge of Gorlock culture.

3) Who is your least favorite character, and what made you dislike him/her?
Lee. Mostly just because we don't see much of him and what we do see is a little lacking. We're told that Lee is one of April's best friends, but we don't see it like we see her friendship with Aurora.

4) In your view, what character in the story grew the most/had the most challenges to overcome? Who had it the easiest?
I think young Jimmy grew the most. He had to go through the whole idea of his alternate future self being a mass murderer who stranded one friend all alone on Earth and tortured and experimented on another for ten years. That, plus since he is the most intelligent person, he had to take on numerous responsibilities that the other kids didn't have to. Not to mention Aurora dumped the task of making him find out how messed up FS is and figure out for himself how to fix it and let FS and FL get their happily ever after.

As to who had it the easiest, I'd have to say Future Libby. She was pampered by the monks for ten years, and then when she joined the gang to fight, she was protected by Aurora.

Character Relationships
1) What was your favorite pairing (canon or otherwise)?
My favorite canon pairing: FS/FL. It's the screwy TOSOT version of SL, which is my favorite JN pairing. But I'm also partial to DJ/FS, and I think you already know why.

2) How about your least favorite?
FJ/A. It was sexier when it was DJ/A.

3) Fave crack pairing? ;)
Sheen/Goddard (too bad Goddard is so high maintenance)

4) What was your favorite shipping moment?
When FS and FL are holding hands on the observation deck before they're beamed back to Earth.

5) Were there any pairings that you wanted to see happen that didn’t?
I guess Lee/April. I like that idea a lot.

6) Which friendship did you like best? (ex: Aurora/FL, Aurora/April, etc.)
Aurora/April.

7) Is there anything that sticks out in your mind about the way TOSOT portrays women vs. men?
I like the variety of portrayals. Aurora and April are very strong, both emotionally and physically, and have great battle minds. FL isn't very strong physically, but she's pretty strong emotionally. She has her beliefs and she sticks by them. And as for men: DJ is very emotionally strong, FS is physically strong, and FC is weak in both aspects. It's balanced out and the characters are believable.

JN Universe
1) In your opinion, which future character seemed to be the most realistic version of their younger counterpart? Who was more of a stretch?
Future Carl was the most realistic. Carl is timid and non-confrontational, so it makes sense that he'd be so in the future, especially when he's kept under the authority of his best friend. Future Sheen was the most of a stretch, when just looking superficially. But FS' transition from his young self into his alternate future self makes complete sense in the canon of the story, so it really isn't that big of a deal.

2) Which character from the JN gang was best portrayed? Worst portrayed?
Jimmy was portrayed the best. Carl's lines and behavior seemed a bit forced at times.

3) Who do you think changed the most as a result of the adventure?
Either Jimmy or Cindy. They definitely both got the most out of this adventure.

4) What plot point was the best “tie-in” with the TV show?
I love how the Gorlock High Council pretty much only has members of the League of Villains. Who's the best at catching a mass criminal? MORE CRIMINALS!

“Stuff You’d See on Your English Test”
1) What are some of the major themes you see at work in this story? (Themes are broad, overarching concepts – for example: the nature of evil, redemption, etc.)
The idea of innate evil. All the TOSOT characters have undergone various traumas throughout their lives, and they all react differently. Nav, while being an overall good guy, still pulls off major heists and is involved in constant criminal activities. Future Sheen feels tremendous guilt for what he's capable of, and has to constantly battle his urges to rip people apart.

2) If you had to pick ONE word to describe what the story is “about”, what would it be?
Choices

Miscellaneous
1) Which illustration is your favorite? (post a link or describe it)
This one: Sunglasses Badasses

2) Look-wise, who has the best character design?
I like Nav's look.

3) If you’re a fangirl/fanboy, who is the object of your affections and why? If you’re not a fangirl/boy, pretend you are anyway and answer the question.
FS. He's a tall, dark, handsome geek with the ability to rip people to shreds if he wants. Plus he's got two different-colored eyes. That's sicknasty.

LOL, because everything in TOSOT is "the screwy version" >.<

Thanks so much, Mary!

P.S. I'm hoping the last, as-yet-unreleased installment will make FJ/A seem sexier. I think it does, anyway
