Just wanted to apologize again for not having the next sections up...I've literally been slammed every single moment since arriving in NZ. Setting up life in a new country isn't easy, let me tell you!

Where in New Zealand are you? I'm A new Zealander and was born here. Its weird for a nation because its so small, I went to US I had never seen so many people. I had never walked down a street where you are shoulder to shoulder with everyone. If you want to see nature, walk through fjord land or steward island (if that's your sort of thing). Its epic, and the skiing at this time of year kicks ass. BTW, Learn to be kiwi fast, tea means dinner. Learn to love rugby, its everywhere and the nation's unofficial sport. Oh and get accustom to the rain, it never stops and it rains most of the time.

Ya, for a country with 4 million people, a big city in the U.S. would seem pretty overwhelming I'm not a city person myself, so New Zealand's natural wonders are definitely my thing. I'd love to go to Stewart Island at some point, although financial constraints might prevent me. It's also my unrealistic dream to see a kakapo, one of NZ's rarest creatures.

As far as kiwi customs go, I'm learning all sorts of new terminology everyday. I'm studying Maori, and I really want to see the All Blacks play. I love this country, but I wish the students here at Otago were a bit tamer. Their drinking habits are absolutely insane...two days ago, a bunch of drunk people lit like 7 couches on fire, and some wasted dude flung himself onto one of the burning couches, sustaining third degree burns on his face and upper body.

Morons, I tell you. Wherever you go in the world, you can't get away from inebriated morons.

So I'm currently trying to figure out how to fine-tune the final chapter(s) of TOSOT. When Krista read the last installment (or rather, listened to me read out loud, dramatically), she said it needed more "emotion" or something. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell she meant by that. Less action? More melodrama? More moments of quiet? What? (Krista, if you're reading this, and would care to clarify, that'd be great).

In the meantime, I'll continue to torment myself in my quest for perfection.
