Le sigh. I guess I must explain this banner, though it breaks rule 3 of Crys' TOSOT banner making rules (Yes I have rules! So sue me!)....

This is how I know of Mudkips. A friend (a gamer) said to me one day, "So I herd you liek mudkips" and when I didn't have a clue as to what he was talking about went on to explain it as thus....

On April 1, 2008, every single one of the millions of deviantART.com users experienced the same April Fool’s prank: every single user icon on the website, including those of the administrators, had been changed to an animated .gif of the Pokemon called a mudkip, saying the now-famous “so i herd u liek mudkips??” When a user tried to change his or her user icon, the Browse button was replaced with “u dont liek mudkips?” in big blue letters. Immediately, deviantARTists started protesting—posting journals about the scandal and filling them with all their friends’ icons, which just covered their journals with thousands upon thousands of mudkips. Many artists took screenshots of the phenomenon, posting them to forums and complaining all the way. Some took it upon themselves to use their popularity on the site to draw pictures of them destroying the mudkips, one user making a mock animation with a mudkip getting stomped on, the user saying “NO! I don’t like mudkips! Now give me back my d**n icon!” The prank only lasted for 8 hours, when all users’ icon were restored back to normal, but it will forever be known as the greatest deviantART prank in history.

Just a general question - I'm working on the DJ/A fight scene right now, and I need your opinion on something.

There will be some profanity involved (I mean, Aurora gets pretty mad), but I was wondering - what cuss words would you guys consider "acceptable" and what words would fall into the "going too far" category? Is there anything (besides the F and C words) that would be just too profane to appear in TOSOT?

The only bad word I wouldn't want to see is the "N" word, but I don't think Aurora would be calling DJ that.

Lulz, no I don't think so.

Umm...besides the ones that Mara already mentioned, I don't have a problem with any others. None that I can think of anyway. I mean, most of the other "minor" ones have already been through out the fic anyway (has everyone forgotten that?). If this scene is supposed to be realistic and dramatic, throw in whatever you'd think they'd say that's within PG-13 writing. It has to be what's best for the story, right?

Man, I'm looking forward to this scene!

"Shit" is the icing on the cake in every scene its said in, as far as TOSOT goes...how can you deny it in this one?

Again, anyone who gets upset over one like that hasn't read the story carefully and really doesn't know Mara Aurora.
