Wow, so it turns out that their encounter was incredibly easy to write, and it also fixed all the other problems with the chapter. 3 1/2 months of struggling, solved by having them bang. Really goes to show that you need to kill the sermonizer in your mind to get results.

 

Now I just need to write the bridge between the introduction and the end.
