One thing I find amazing is that I am already working on a crossover fic, and your title matched the one I was going to give Jimmy. Mindhive.
In addition, 4/13. I'm expecting Hussie to pull out an awesome.

I wanted to make more of a fanventure than a fic, and more of an AU than a crossover. My idea was Jimmy and the gang play Sburb. I've got a tumblr for it, neutronstuck.tumblr.com, but I haven't done much with it. I would really like to get some JN/Homestuck fans to help me work on it, and make it a group thing. If you'd like to work on with me, I'd welcome the input! ![]()
I'm half expecting Hussie to not post anything tomorrow. Either that, or only one panel. Or, most preferably, a huge flash. ![]()

(C'mon, Megan! What happened to us plain-ol'-JN-RPing??
)

Part of the fun of fandoms is bringing them together. Take two great things and you get caffeine an even better great thing!

(That's what I'm doing in my RP that Megan was originally doing with me... C'mon, Megan!!
)

Sorry, Em. To be honest I wasn't enjoying the RP anymore, and I lost interest. Also I'm not asking Someone to RP with me, I'm looking to brainstorm with him for this crossover I want to work on. If you read Homestuck, I'd love to work on it with you too! But I don't think Homestuck is your cup of tea.
Speaking of, happy 4/13!!! What did you think of that upd8???

It's amazing. After all this time, I still have NO idea what Homestuck's about.

You should read it! Hussie just announced an indefinite hiatus to work on the Homestuck video game instead...plenty of time to catch up! I think you'd really appreciate all the effort and skill that goes into it, as well as Hussie's wit and ingenuity. He is a fantastic storyteller.

Meeehhhh....isn't it like, really long?

Yes. It's the longest running webcomic on the internet. However, many of the pages are single image panels, and while the first act is a little slow, the pace picks up rapidly in act two. Homestuck isn't just a comic though. There are pesterlogs of online chats between the characters. A lot of the panels are animated gifs. Some parts of the story are told in flash animations, complete with soundtracks of fan-made music. Hussie has asked fan artists to assist him with some of these flashes. More than a few parts of the story are told through short flash games. The entire comic is a parody of a text-based adventure game and multiple aspects of geek culture, and though it has lots of action, adventure, romance, and shenanigans, it is a comedy overall.
When I started reading Homestuck back in August, it took me about a week to catch up, but that was a week of probably reading 12+ hours a day. I completely binged on Homestuck, and let me tell you, I was pretty hungover by the end! I didn't even bother with the fandom until I had caught up, either.
My favorite thing about Homestuck is simply that it is a wonderfully told story. It makes me laugh, cry, and hack up phlegm ALL at the same time! ;P I don't know how to convince you to read Homestuck, though I encourage you to give it a try. It's the best story I've ever experienced.

But it's on hiatus now? As in, no resolution in sight?

That it is. Mostly so the author can work on the game that his fans pledged $3,000,000 or so for. Perfect time to catch up, as the end won't be outpacing you.

The end won't be happening anytime soon, but Hussie IS going to finish it. Here's part of his explanation from the MSPA site:
