conformists? we don't wanna be shallow or mean. if we were, we would be cussing by now!! :o I'm sorry, but that kind of offended me. I still like J/B! I mean not all of us are so harsh on it, like we bash it all the time. I semi-love J/B. I like the concept, but I don't like it as much as the other couples, but I think it's cute. It just made me feel bad looking at that. I mean, I'm not used to being called a ' conformist ' :( I respect every couple, except CarlXJudy. ( SICK ) I was kind of REALLY offended when I saw that. Plus, over a TV show couple you're calling us CONFORMISTS?! Plus, it's a TV SHOW. I don't understand how somebody could call us that just because we support J/C instead of J/B. :( :(Well, NekoGirl, guess who's in the building! I am posting my first post on IDOJ, appropriately enough, in the J/B thread!
Firstly, I would like to thank you, NekoGirl, from the bottom of my heart, from saving me from being just another in the seemingly endless crowd of conformists that is the J/C fandom (that is not meant to be construed in any offensive way at all). I was moderately supportive of it before, but hearing of Betty Quinlan from you threw into sharp relief how much Cindy mistreats Jimmy, and illustrates how much better Betty would be as the next Mrs. Neutron.
Thank you.
While the "romance" between Jimmy and Cindy may be more dynamic and interesting, it is also rather cliche, seeing as we see romantic stories where the two "lovers" bicker from day one. Jimmy & Betty may not have a dynamic nature to it, but it will end with Jimmy truly happy, being an unorthodox (by today's standards) relationship where their affection for one another is rather clear on from the beginning.
I agree with the notion that Betty was merely saying "he's all yours" to get Cindy off her back, and that she is merely giving Cindy a sliver of a chance at being with Jimmy. Of course, judging from 'The Tomorrow Boys', I doubt Jimmy & Cindy will ever be truly happy together, unlike my thoughts on an extended relationship between Jimmy Neutron & Betty Quinlan.

I apologize; I meant no offense whatsoever. If I offended you in any way, it was my fault entirely. It was bad wording on my part. 'Conformist' is a bad word to use. But I do not want to make any enemies here. One thing here is absolutely certain: whether we support J/C or J/B, we all have one thing in common: we're all Jimmy Neutron fans.conformists? we don't wanna be shallow or mean. if we were, we would be cussing by now!! :o I'm sorry, but that kind of offended me. I still like J/B! I mean not all of us are so harsh on it, like we bash it all the time. I semi-love J/B. I like the concept, but I don't like it as much as the other couples, but I think it's cute. I accept any harsh feelings from you duly.
Oh, and I find Carl/Judy gross, too.

But nonetheless, I do have plenty of respect for any other Jimmy related pairings out there, though I asily prefer J/B over everything else for more than enough reasons. ^_^
& btw, I do have a freewebs.com web site that's a shrine to the J/B pairing, (located in the Fan-Sites section of the forum) & let me know if you think its good. ^_^
Btw, the Fanlisting issn't exactly up yet, but I'm going to work on it soon.
Also, I'm thinking of making multible fanlistings for certain J/Bers.
I mean like, because while there are the 100% supporting fandom such as ourselves, there are also J/C fans who happen to like J/B as well, sometimes just as much, & others like the idea, but want J/C to happen in the longrun.
& there's 100% supporting J/Cers that, even though they might not like it, they still are willing to show, & do show respect for the J/B pairing. :)
So I figured why not make a fan-listing for whichever J/Bers there are: the 100% supporting fandom like ourselves, those that like J/C more, but enjoy J/B too, & finally, the 100% supporting J/Cers that still are willing to respect their counterpart fandom. ^_^
So expect those up over the week if I can pull that off between GED classes, & be sure to join the fanlisting that suits you best, so visitors of the site know how much you enjoy the pairing! ^_^
But when I do post these up, if anyone has a deep grudge against J/C or something, (not that hardly anyone does), please keep in mind that while I dislike the pairing, I DO still respect it, & I prefer my shrine to show this, alright?
So while you may post whether or not you like J/C, (or dislike it) just besure that if you don't like that pairing, then please refrain from bashing it, as I don't enjoy seeing those kinds of remarks against the pairing, or against its fandom, the latter especially not, as some of my good friends on here are J/Cers. I figure half of such support the couple whole heartedly I believe. So just keep that in mind if anyone dislikes J/C, or has a deep grudge against it. :)

Well, Ijust hope that Betty doesnt get voted off of 'Favorite Female character Game' as easily as she did the 'Favorite Character' game, cause I'd at least enjoy seeing her win second place, if nothing else. ;)

And I'm glad to see your a J/Ber as well! We J/B shippers ae a VERRYY small group..J/C's okay, but J/B's awesome!!! And, ya gotta admit it would be cute to see black-haired Jimmy Jrs. running around. ^_^ I checked out your site, and I like the "Why I support J/B and N/C page". :D N/C's cool too, and I can sort of see him as Cindy's lover, but I'm kinda half-n-half with it. Though it's a cool couple! ^_^ In general, I love the website. Update soon! :D And just like you, I respect J/C WHOLEheartedly..I'm just not fond of the idea.(Why the heck are love/hate pairings are SO popular now??!!! ) Anyway, I don't bash any couple(except for Gay and Lesibian ones  and Carl/Judy   ) and I respect each one, J/A, J/B, J/C, S/L..blah blah blah. *.* Now, as the leader of the British J/B'rs..Farewell!!!! *.* P.S....3rd season fluffy J/C=DANGER LEVEL ON MUSHINESSS SCALE!!!!PassionFlower, I'm definitely glad to see your also a J/Ber! & I of course feel the exact same way about Jimmy/Betty, & although I don't min J/C, it could get on the nerves every once in awhile, especially during season 3, that's the majority of J/C's influence right there, but I know the pairing was obvious from the start.

Just read what I've stated in "My J/B shrine!", & you'll see why I love J/B so much. ^_^
True, I'll admit J/C IS cute & all, but I'm just not fond of it. Just rewatch the first season, & you could understand why I didn't just JUMP over the pairing like so many others.
Just watch episodes like Trading Faces, & then switch to Lady Sings The News. Anyone who isn't already interested would be, to say the least, shocked.
In season 1 & 2, it was, ALRIGHT. But once season 3 showed up, (as I began to watch it that is) then it just became suffocating. I can't bear to watch those anytmore, I just can't.
Few season 3 episodes I DID like, are those having to due with Betty Quinlan. Though I must say I detested the little chat in Vanishing Act, Betty was SO out of character there, believe me. Just, wow. -_-

But still, I just LOVE these two together, & the split-second I get my soon-to-be-owned/rented copy of Sims 2 fully set up to look & be like JN's world, J/B fluff immediately!
I have a very strong feeling this game, once I re-create Jimmy's world in it, will help me with my fanfictions more than I could ever otherwise.
Yes, I do believe it'd be easy to write the fanfics out traditionally, but I feel experiencing it, (or playing it) first hand should help me get a better feel.
Dunno why, but I just think I can, after viewing the screenshots.

Thank you! It's a SHOW, people. The writers on JN wrote the show (did I mention the word SHOW?!) intended on J/C, L/S, H/J, and C/E. come on.Meh, I find nothing wrong with Jimmy/Betty, but I don't understand how everyone could get worked up over some harmless pairing...
And I love your siggy! Especially the Israel part.

My thoughts on what's most likely -
J/C - 70%
J/B - 15%
J/A - 12%
J/? (any other Jimmy couple, or Cindy couple for that matter) - 3%
Well, if you consider season 3, & if you consider the JTPHs to be real episodes & not 'what if?' ones, then J/C's probably something like 90%, but I'm just rough estimating.
What I'd like to happen, however, as follows -
J/C - 30%
J/B - 50%
J/A - 10%
J/? (any other Jimmy couple, or Cindy couple for that matter) - 10%
Eh, I'd just really want J/B to happen, (why else would I have made this topic? )but I'd also want a little bit more fairness to the other couples, not just have J/C take over Jimmy's romance life.

even if JN is JUST a show, it's always been a big piece of me. I've been watching it ever since the movie was released. And if it's just a meaningless show to you, why are you here and writing fanfictions about it (no, that wasn't meant to sound rude, I swear. It was an honest question ]: )? Sothankskaybai.
