Are The PowerPuff Girls a type of anime??

If you're talking about Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z, then yes it is.

Of course, it was insanely popular in Japan which led to the anime Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z.

That's incredibly stupid.... Lately I've been in Hidan no Aria... My friend introduced it to me a year ago. Bit too ecchi for my taste but then again so is A Certain Scientific Railgun so whatever...

I remember the moment I intelligently designed the person who would go on to create the very first anime...He was no stranger to my noodly appendage.

I dunno if I've told you guys this already, but around a month ago, I purchased my first TRUE manga book!! Ya know, the ones that read in the traditional Japanese style from right to left?? That's right; I actually OWN one now: Dengeki Daisy Volume One! It's so good, I've read it all the way through at least twice! I'd like to credit whoever suggested this one to me as a relatively clean manga with a HUGE amount of thanks, cuz I absolutely LOVE it!!! I wanna get Volume Two as soon as possible; THAT'S how much I adore it!! <3 :kawaii:

My newest anime addiction is Hyouka. It's a high school mystery series, and I just love all the characters. I don't know why. Maybe because it isn't focused on romance? Maybe because the little mysteries they solve are so adorably tiny, yet they are always so serious about it?

Who knows. I just know I'm really in love with this show.

The only anime I watch at all is Pokemon. Seasons 1 and 6-9 are my favourites. I loved the dynamic between Ash, Misty and Brock - they were my favourite of the main groups. I still enjoyed season 2, but I wish Brock was in it. I loved it when he came back for seasons 3-5. The problem I have with those 3 seasons is that I feel there were too many filler episodes. I was disappointed when Misty was replaced by May, as she wasn't nearly as good a character (I'd put her on the high end of OK), but the addition of Max more or less made up for that, I thought. Seasons 10-13... yeah, they were the worst. Dawn just had no personality, and again, there were too many filler episodes. I'm liking the recent seasons a lot more. Iris has much more personality than Dawn, and Cilan, though no Brock, is starting to grow on me. Also, while I love Team Rocket, I like that they aren't appearing in every single episode anymore.

Anime? Why, yes, I have. :3

My club currently has an aime club, me being one of the leaders. <3 In our anime club we discuss the animation, art, voice acting, Japanese pop culture that goes into each of the series.

Among anime I have watched: Shugo Chara!, Shugo Chara Doki!, Bleach(finished it ;3), FullMetal Alchemist, CardCaptor Sakura(my first anime when I was little- four, I think?), Naruto, Vampire Knight, DeathNote, Soul Eater, Princess TuTu, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, DN Angel, Black Butler, Pandora Hearts, Code Geass, Elfen Lied, Durarar!!!, Hellsing Evolution, Zero no Tsukaima, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sonic X, Pokemon, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Gurren Lagaan(went to a special panel for it~), Inuyasha, Ranima 1/2 -

I'm sure there is more, but I don't feel like adding more.

I have also been to an anime con before. That was crazy. Going to raves with a bunch of Axel/Roxas supporters is one messed up party.

So I've been watching Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (the Monster Seated Next to Me), and I gotta say...it's really addictive. By all rights I should probably hate it, because it's a total shoujo-fest, and the main chick's a cold-as-ice workaholic while the main guy is a socially retarded psycho...but I don't know. It's just so ENDEARING somehow.

It's such a fun combination of outrageous silliness and poignant seriousness, with some surprisingly introspective moments. And unlike most romantic comedies, which tend to have a "foregone conclusion" feel, I legitimately don't know where this one's going to go. Every episode surprises me a little, because instead of asking the question "will they or won't they?" for 5793720375 episodes, it asks the question "OK, we love each other...now what?"

Oh, and it has hilarious scenes like this:

Actually, neither of them do.

Oh, and the show also has characters like Asako Natsume:

If you don't think you should watch it, you're wrong.
