My club currently has an aime club, me being one of the leaders. <3 In our anime club we discuss the animation, art, voice acting, Japanese pop culture that goes into each of the series.
Among anime I have watched: Shugo Chara!, Shugo Chara Doki!, Bleach(finished it ;3), FullMetal Alchemist, CardCaptor Sakura(my first anime when I was little- four, I think?), Naruto, Vampire Knight, DeathNote, Soul Eater, Princess TuTu, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, DN Angel, Black Butler, Pandora Hearts, Code Geass, Elfen Lied, Durarar!!!, Hellsing Evolution, Zero no Tsukaima, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sonic X, Pokemon, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Gurren Lagaan(went to a special panel for it~), Inuyasha, Ranima 1/2 -
I'm sure there is more, but I don't feel like adding more.
I have also been to an anime con before. That was crazy. Going to raves with a bunch of Axel/Roxas supporters is one messed up party.

So I've been watching Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (the Monster Seated Next to Me), and I gotta say...it's really addictive. By all rights I should probably hate it, because it's a total shoujo-fest, and the main chick's a cold-as-ice workaholic while the main guy is a socially retarded psycho...but I don't know. It's just so ENDEARING somehow.

It's such a fun combination of outrageous silliness and poignant seriousness, with some surprisingly introspective moments. And unlike most romantic comedies, which tend to have a "foregone conclusion" feel, I legitimately don't know where this one's going to go. Every episode surprises me a little, because instead of asking the question "will they or won't they?" for 5793720375 episodes, it asks the question "OK, we love each other...now what?"
Oh, and it has hilarious scenes like this:

Yeah, he has absolutely no filter:

Actually, neither of them do.

Oh, and the show also has characters like Asako Natsume:

If you don't think you should watch it, you're wrong.
