SO. Good ol' Grrrreee is returning for a 2nd season as of tomorrow (September 21st) in the U.S., and I was wondering if anyone on IDOJ is as stoked as I am? This show is crack to me, and I just keep coming back for more-- even if my doctor advises against it because of the pregnancy I MEAN WHAT. Lol kidding u gais.

What are you guys most looking foward to?
The music?
Charice?
John Stamos?
Asian hookups?
KURT GETTING A BEAU HAY HAY? *Suggestive eyebrow wiggles*

This topic is to talk about the show Glee, and all episodes pertaining to the second season (by the way, if you're going to talk about MAJOR spoilers, make sure to cover your ass so you don't ruin it for people outside the U.S., or even those investing to watch Glee season 1 soon). However, feel free to discuss plot, as long as it doesn't involve Dumbledore dying.

AWWWWIIIIIGHT.
BRING ON THIS CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED, ALTERED STATE INDUCING, EYE AND/OR EAR CANDY.

f*ck yeah! For sure, I'm so hella excited.

I got my mom addicted to last season, and she and I are super bummed that we can't watch it together this season. I'm even more bummed because I'm going to have to check it out online the next day because I have bible-study that night, which unfortunately I can't blow off because I teach the leader's daughter piano before bible-study. Stupid people moving the time.

The new blonde guy, whatever the heck his name is, is pretty fine too!

I've been going back and forth. Do you guys think I'd like Glee? I'm contemplating watching the first season of it (is it on Hulu?).

Over the summer they cycled through. Not anymore though. When I first started at the beginning of the second half of Season 1 I watched them all here:

Katie: You should most definitely give it a chance (I would say two episodes minimum). If you start getting into the show, then be aware that it progresses a lot each segment. Also, I wouldn't recommend watching more than three episodes a day. Just ask Mara, and she'll understand. BUT YES. Please watch Glee. As cliched as the beginning is, the show has a certain gleam that not a lot of television today is seeing. c:

Also... the episode that just premiered made me weep and LOL at the same time.

I dunno, I was excited for Season 2 but after seeing that episode I'm not sure. I know Rachel will do anything to take the spotlight but she was always just snobby and stuck up, never directly harmful in a physical or emotional way. Despite her flaws I really liked her character, but if she continues in this direction I can't enjoy her character anymore. And if she doesn't go in this direction, the episode feels out of character.

Besides that, the episode seemed to be missing the shine that the first season had. I don't feel the emotion.

I hope its just this episode.

I missed the season premiere, unfortunately. I only watched a few episodes of the first season, and I can easily say that I WANT MOAR PLZ.

So Fox, bring on the Grrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeee. I AM PUMPED FOR THIS.

Also, my wish is that they'd do another Lady Gaga-themed episode, only because I was really disappointed by the one they did last season. Kurt singing "Alejandro", anyone?

This might be a spolier, but....

I heard somewhere that Darren Criss will play a gay guy on Vocal Adrenalin named Blair, and that Blair and Sam will compete for Kurt's affection in an epic gay love-traingle. I will seriously pee myself with happiness if this happens.

Blaine is actually not on Vocal Adrenaline, its another Glee Club, and secondly the words used to describe the relationship between Kurt and Blaine as of now is "platonic."

So random question.

Is Glee starting to feel like American Idol to anyone else with the theme weeks? First Britney week, next week the "Jesus" week, Rocky Horror, Madonna, Lady Gaga. What's next? Country music week and after that it will be Cats week?

Ehhh vaguely. But Glee is what American Idol WANTS to be. It wants to deliver versions of songs that everyone will enjoy, not cause reactions like "OMFG NOT ANOTHER VERSION OF "IMAGINE" WE'RE ALL GUNNA DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE."

LOL Finn in a Cats costume...that would totally make my Tuesday night xD

I also have a random question related to the Britney episode...

did anyone else notice Kurt's manskirt?

Firstly: I completely agree with you about the American Idol thing; Glee is a thousand times better, and I watch both shows... though now that Simon and Ellen are gone, I think I might give up on Idol.

Imagine is totally overdone, by like, everyone. I think it did kill me the last time someone did an awful, horrible audition-version. It kills pieces of my soul.

Finn+Cats=LOL. OMG. YES!~

Kurt's manskirt was sexy. I believe the minute I saw it I said something along the lines of, "It takes real balls for a man to wear a skirt." and my mom was like, "Kurt has the biggest kahones out of all the glee guys."
