For those of you who are concerned about the gang's little "problem", rest assured it WILL be solved in Chapter 11! Now, here's Chapter 9!! Enjoy!


Nobody's Perfect

Chapter 9: It's Seymore... and Someone Eviller!!


"Yes, it can, Neutron, and it will!!" came an all-too-familiar voice. At least, Jimmy was familiar with it, and so were Carl and Sheen.

"Hey, I know that voice!" he exclaimed, looking all around for the source with no luck at the moment.

"Yeah!" Sheen agreed, "It's that... Eeyore... Pimple-... farts... person!"

At that, the gang burst out laughing hysterically in unison.

"That's Seymore Nimmelfarb to you!!" Seymore retorted, pushing a button on his control panel and making his hovering space pod visible, "And things are about to get MUCH, much worse!!!"

"What makes you so sure about that, Seymore?!" Jimmy snapped at his nemesis, rolling his eyes with his arms folded.

"You mean 'who', and here he is!" he remarked, gesturing to his left and showing him the fast-approaching figure in a dark-colored rocket.

The gang looked at him and gasped out of shock. It was none other than Evil Jimmy! "Hey, Whippy-dip! Miss me??" he mocked Jimmy.

"NO, I did not!!" he bitterly informed his evil clone. Forgetting he had nothing on except his watch and a glowing red necklace, he marched up to Evil Jimmy who'd just landed on the ground and barked, angrily pointing at him, "You're the one who almost made my home planet disappear into oblivion!!"

Evil Jimmy just threw back his head and laughed mockingly and hysterically at him, pointing.

"What are you laughing at, clone?!" he hissed at him.

"Well, well, well, Neutron!" Seymore noted aloud, "Looks like you've taken streaking to a new level!!"

Realizing what he was doing, Jimmy yelped and made a mad dash back to the bush Carl and Sheen were hiding in.

Laughing evilly to himself, Seymore said, "Works every time..."

Coming out from behind the tree, Alexis scolded him, "How DARE you embarrass my Jimmy like that!!!"

"Looks like we have a newcomer to the scene!" he told her, then added slyly, "You mean just like you're embarrassing yourself, miss??"

"EEEEEEK!!!!!" she shrieked, and ran back to her hiding place.

"How'd he escape my dark matter dimension, anyway?!" Jimmy protested.

"The explanation for that is simple, Neutron," Seymore calmly began...

PimpleFarts...Haha...I love that one. Oh God, Em, this chapter was hilarious. Ditto to the others which I forgot to comment on. I loved all of them. Not one failed to get a laugh outta me. Amazing work!!!

Chapter 10: The Explanation and a Temporary Solution


"And what might that be, you loser?!" Cindy snapped.

"I wasn't talking to you, BLONDIE!!!" Seymore barked at her.

She gasped angrily and hissed, "Why, I oughtta...!!" She then started to fly out of her post, all set on using her super strength to teach him a lesson he wouldn't soon forget.

But Libby, who'd joined her in the tree's branches, grabbed her leg and pulled her back in, whispering urgently, "Cin, I think you're forgettin' somethin'...."

Cindy felt herself after she was pulled back in, then muttered, "Oh, right... I forgot we were all in our birthday suits..."

Jimmy just groaned and snapped, "Seymore, either hand us our clothes RIGHT now, or you'll both suffer the consequences!!"

"Ooo! Whatcha gonna do to us?!" Seymore mocked him, "Lecture us to death?!!"

"Augh, NO!!!" Jimmy hissed, then turned to Carl and told him, "Carl, let 'em HAVE it!!"

"Don't mind if I do!" he replied, and let out a super-burp that rattled their ships and made them burst into hundreds of tiny pieces, landing both of them on the ground with a thud.

"Is that the BEST you can do, Doc?! Super-belch our ships to pieces??! That's not stopping US!! Let's go, Seymore!" Evil Jimmy taunted, dropping what looked like a pebble onto the ground but turned into a fully-functional hover-scooter underneath them. They then sped away from the gang, bound on wreaking more havoc and destruction.

But just before they left, Seymore informed Jimmy, "When I located his dark matter signature, I simply pressed a button that returned him to normal. See ya, DORKS!!"

"Now what do we do, Nerd-tron?!" Cindy protested from her perch with Libby among the tree's branches after they'd left.

"Well," Jimmy noted aloud, "There's no sense in returning home to find spare clothes with us looking like THIS in broad daylight... We'll use the cover of darkness as our cover, at around 9:30 when everyone's asleep, to find something to wear, but be QUIET about it! We'll wait in my lab until then. Now, let's get over there fast, before anyone has a chance to see us!!"

With that, they all scrambled to his lab's entrance in a flash. Using his watch, he pressed a button to open the trap door at the entrance, into which they all jumped and landed on his lab's concrete floor with a thud before ANYONE saw them. There, they waited until 9:30 arrived, then they each snuck out to their respective homes and to their rooms to finally put something on.

But alas, when they each checked their drawers and closets, they found nothing there!

While at his place and after he'd found nothing, Jimmy muttered angrily, "Seymore...!"

Then they each came back to Jimmy's front yard under the cover of darkness, using their glowstick necklaces to identify eachother.

"Any luck?" Alexis asked her peers, "I found nothing!"

They all answered her with a negative response.

"That Seymore will go to great lengths to embarrass and humiliate us...!" Jimmy softly but firmly announced, "And I will NOT tolerate this any longer! We'll all sleep in my lab tonight, as to avoid humiliating ourselves, and I will have cover-ups made for us by morning."

They all quietly voiced their agreement and retreated to his lab for the night. And in the morning when they got up, as he'd promised, cover-ups were ready and waiting for them to use.

Chapter 11: Only Appearing Normal...


When the gang saw what Jimmy had made overnight, they objected, but just slightly... "Um, Neutron," Libby pointed out, "These look like somethin' George of the Jungle and his queen would wear..."

"I don't know if I wanna be a jungle boy, Jim," Carl told him.

"C'mon, guys!" he persisted rather urgently, "It's either these hi-tech loincloths I've made or your birthday suits. Your choice."

"How are these hi-tech?" Alexis wanted to know.

"And how do we tell whose is whose??" Sheen questioned.

"Easy! They're color-coded!" Jimmy informed them gladly, "Each of you will have the same color as your necklace. As to how they're hi-tech, when they're worn, they will project a holographic image of what we'd normally be wearing that moves in perfect sync with your body as you move yourself. These images are only visible to those in normal attire, so no one will get an opportunity to make fun of us. They will only malfunction when methane hits them, but that's exceedingly rare. Now, let's put them on before someone sees us!"

They each grabbed their respective color and slipped them on.

After they did so, Cindy took one look at Jimmy and cracked, "Wow, Neutron! You sure look pathetic!" In reality, she thought he looked sort of hot.

"Well, Vortex, for YOUR information, I think-...!" he began to retort, then he really looked at her and, in his eyes, he saw a glowing halo surrounding her entire silhouette(not unlike in KoM), making her seem angelic, almost, then gasped in awe, "Whoa!! Cindy, you look so... so... angelic!!!"

"Why, Neutron!! I had no idea you felt this way about me!" she gushed, extremely flattered, "I take back what I just said. You look pretty fine yourself!" Cindy then walked up to him, took his hands in hers, and gazed deeply into his deep, sapphire eyes.

"Oh, great...," Sheen muttered, covering his eyes, "It's the mushy stuff again... I can't watch!"

Alexis, on the other hand, just turned her back to them and mumbled at first, her arms folded, "Humph... It should be me he's going ga-ga for..." Then she glanced back at them, and what she saw made her even more jealous: Jimmy and Cindy had embraced eachother in a hug! She kept watching them as her arms dropped to her sides and her hands formed into fists. Her face took on an insanely jealous look and gradually turned red over the following 30 seconds.

Goddard took notice of this and activated his "jealousy alert" signal, a flashing red siren light appearing on his back, what sounded like a police siren resounding, and the words "jealousy alert" flashing repeatedly on his screen. He looked at Alexis as this was happening.

Libby took notice of this before anyone else and pulled the jealous preteen aside out of hearing range, saying firmly, "Girl, I can see you're jealous, but you've only known Neutron fo' just over a day. Chill out, girl, and just let it go... You'll find yo' man one day!"

She took a deep breath and tried to relax, and gradually, she did, though she couldn't help thinking, I just wish that man in the future was Jimmy... He's just so darn CUTE!! Then she added, "Okay, Libby. I'll try..."

Jimmy had stopped hugging Cindy by then. He then pointed out, "Did I hear an alarm go off just now?! Wait! What am I saying?!! That was an alarm, and it was Goddard's Jealousy Alarm! Who's jealous of whom??"

All hands pointed to Alexis, who'd by then rejoined the gang with Libby.

He walked over to her and asked suspiciously, "Who are you jealous of, Alexis??"

"Me? Jealous?! Look, Jimmy," she tried to convince him, "I am NOT jealous!!!"

"Alexis, Goddard's alarm wouldn't have gone off if he didn't detect jealousy in our midst. I just installed that new feature in him a few days ago. Now, TELL me who you're jealous of, or I'll have to use my lie-detector on you," Jimmy persisted, looking her straight in the eye.

She let out a long, heavy sigh of defeat, then cupped her hands over his ear and whispered, "Cindy. That's who I'm jealous of."

He just blinked in astonishment after he heard Alexis say that, then managed to say, "Did- Did you just s-say that... YOU'RE jealous of Cindy with me?!"

"Precisely! And you didn't have to yell, ya know...," Alexis informed him.

"What the HECK-?! She is not my girlfriend! I don't even LIKE her!!" Jimmy protested.

"You sure gave a pretty good public display of affection, Jimmy," she pointed out.

"What?!! I was just being nice! And besides, that was only temporary, a one-time thing," he tried to convince her and the rest of the gang, but no one bought it.

"Uh-huh, sure," Libby muttered, rolling her eyes.

"And I don't even LIKE him, either!!" Cindy interjected out of denial.

Alexis didn't believe her. When she looked at her closely, she saw, of all things, a hickey on her neck! Then she exclaimed, pointing, "OMG!! Is that a hickey on Cindy's neck?!?!"

Chapter 12: Relationship Getting Stronger, Slowly But Surely


"What are you talking about, Alexis?!" Cindy protested.

"Goddard, show her!" Libby told the mechanical canine, shocked as she was about the whole situation.

Sheen took one look at her and cracked, pointing, "Oooo!! Cindy's got a love bite!!!"

Goddard held up his mirror and let Cindy see herself. "AAUUGH!!!" she groaneed, trying in vain to rub it off. Then she gave Sheen an angry glare and snarled, "You're not HELPING, Ultra-MORON!!" Cindy then leaned over to Libby and sharply whispered, "Ya could've talked me out of it!!"

"What??" Libby quietly replied, "It's about time ya and he started to make yo' relationship better! B'sides, I was enjoying myself watchin' you 2 lovebirds in action."

"Lovebirds?! Cindy thought shockingly, Okay, Libby's officially gone off the edge! She then added out loud, feeling Libby's forehead, "You feeling okay, Libs?? I think she's coming down with something, guys."

"Never better, Cin! I was just enjoyin' watchin' you 2 goin' at it fo' a few minutes!" Libby informed them happily. Though "going at it" was a strong term for her to use, she didn't care.

"Um, Libby? Isn't 'going at it' a rather strong term to use?!" Jimmy asked her uneasily.

"It may be, but I don't care!! You have NO idea how sick 'n tired I get of watchin' you 2 fight all the time!!" she elaborated, "I'd much rather see ya make out instead, as long as ya didn't go too far with the whole concept!"

"Also," Alexis interjected, "I think I know how that hickey got there, too!"

"I think we all do, girl," Libby informed her, "All it involves is-"

"I think we've heard enough, Libby," Jimmy interrupted her, flushing very deeply and covering her mouth with his hand.

She pushed it away and remarked sharply, "First of all, getcha hands OFF me! Secondly, why'd ya interrupt me?! Afraid the school will find out about whatcha did t' Cindy?? I can make that happen, ya know!"

He got out his shrink ray and told her firmly, aiming it at her, "And I can also prevent it from happening! Do it, and I'll be forced to shrink you for a week!!"

"Then again, I'd rather not...," Libby said hesitantly, but secretly thought to herself, Oh, it'll happen, alright, via the school website!!

"That's what I thought!" Jimmy stated firmly, putting his shrink ray away.

Just then, Cindy motioned for him to follow her a short distance away, out of hearing range. He followed her to another part of his lab, then asked suspiciously, "Can I help you with something, Vortex??"

"Well," she replied, "She seemed kinda serious when she told all that stuff, so as to avoid embarrassing ourselves yet again, we could do something together..."

"Like what?" he wanted to know.

"We could, ya know, go out...," she suggested with a hopeful look on her face.

Hey Em, I'm so sorry about not replying...seriously busy. Anyways, I love the new chapters. Had to refresh my memory for a bit, but it was worth it. Haha, love triangles. Those I love. Great job, as usual! Update soon!
