Trust me, guys! It's only gonna get weirder! lol Without further ado, I give you Chapter 6!!!! Trust me; Sheen's gonna crack you UP in this one!!!


Nobody's Perfect

Chapter 6: Setting Out For Revenge!


"Perfect. Just perfect," Cindy groaned, slapping her forehead, "Ya just HAD to go and embarrass us!! Way to go, Jerk-tron!!!"

"Hey, I didn't know someone would steal our clothes, Vortex! I was just trying to get us an easy way out of detention without being seen," Jimmy retorted, rolling his eyes, "Besides, who in their right mind would steal clothes from another person's nose?!"

"Someone who's a bully?" Carl guessed.

"Someone who hates us, most definitely," Libby put in helpfully.

"Definitely someone seeking revenge against at least one of us," Cindy recalled.

"And certainly someone who wants to embarrass us purposefully," Jimmy concluded, remembering his utterly embarrassing experience with Seymore Nimmelfarb, "And possibly permanently."

At that, Carl started to whimper nervously while hugging his knees.

He heard, rather than saw, this, because of their invisibility, and reassured him, "Don't worry, Carl! If this is a bully we're dealing with, then no harm is guaranteed to befall us!"

An anxious expression on his face, Carl nervously thought, But what if it's not just a bully, but an evil villain?!! With that, he fainted out of anxiety, falling backwards out of his chair and landing on his back.

The gang ran over to where they heard him fall, concerned as to whether he was hurt or not.

A few moments later, he sat up and muttered, rubbing his back, "Ow, my scapula..."

"Are you okay, Carl?" Jimmy wanted to know.

"I think so, Jim," he told him, looking in the direction of his voice.

"Why'd ya faint??" Libby asked him.

"I was just afraid whoever pranked us was an evil villain instead of just a bully...," Carl informed them.

"Don't WORRY, Carl!" Alexis said, "Whoever did this looks to be more of a common prankster than a malicious supervillain!"

"Precisely...," Jimmy noted suspiciously.

"Who do you think it is, Neutron?" Cindy questioned.

"Only one person would pull a prank of this particular type," he muttered, "Someone like Seymore Nimmelfarb."

"Who the heck is Eeyore PimpleFarts?!" Sheen asked, confused.

"It's 'Seymore NimmelFart-' I mean 'Pimple-' no, 'Nimmelfarb'! UGH!!!" Jimmy sternly informed him, beating on his forehead because of his mispronunciations, "Remember? HE'S the one who tried to claim my science experiment was his?! That's him. Anyway, he forced me to perform a HUMILIATING stunt in front of a well-known science experiment critic!!"

Alexis gasped and exclaimed, "What exactly did he make you d-... Oh, no, he didn't!"

"Oh, yes, he did!" he answered her. To clarify himself, he temporarily took the invisibility gum out of his mouth and became visible again, adding, "THIS is what that fiend made me do!" Then he put it back in, becoming invisible once more.

"He made you go on a streaking spree?!" Cindy exclaimed, hardly believing her ears.

"That's what happened, Vortex, believe it or not," Jimmy plainly stated.

"Pffft, wouldn't Libs and I have LOVED to have seen that!!" she cracked, bursting into a giggle fit while trying to hide the fact that she actually felt sorry for him and secretly wanted to get back at Seymore for forcing Jimmy to do such an outlandish stunt.

"Well, he didn't need to hear such a comment, Cindy!" Alexis firmly scolded her.

"Well, it's TRUE!!" Cindy snapped, but secretly added in her mind, But only a little...

"Could we just get to the bottom of things??" Libby protested.

"Yes, we will, Libby. Goddard," he told his dog who'd been with them the entire time, "Lead us out of school and to my lab, boy, not because we don't know the way, but so we can stay together as a group while invisible to eachother, okay?

Goddard nodded, seeing them using his thermal vision.

"Good. Now, everyone," Jimmy quietly added, "Be quiet, because Miss Fowl's asleep, but hurry!"

"Got it!" they all whispered in unison, following Goddard out of school and to Jimmy's lab.

I'm so glad you loved it! Since I finished writing yet another chapter, I thought I'd go ahead and post Chapter 7! Just bear in mind that they're still invisible here, okay??

Chapter 7: Discovering the Culprit!


Once in the lab, Jimmy right away sat in his lab chair and began typing furiously. Though he was hard at work like that, he thought uneasily, Boy, usually, when I do this, I don't feel awkward like I do now... It's probably because I'm not wearing anything right now, but I'll try not to let that hinder my progress... It's a good thing I and my companions are invisible...

Then Libby spoke up and told them, "Ya know, instead of this embarrassing situation, I coulda made all y'all and myself invisible so could've snuck out with our clothes ON! That way, we wouldn't have this current scenario that's so embarrassin'!"

At that, he temporarily stopped his work and groaned, first widening his eyes then closing them and slapping his forehead out of humiliation, "D'OH!! Why didn't I consider that before, since we still have our powers?!" Then he continued with his work.

Alexis walked over to him and laid her hand on his shoulder, saying sweetly, "Don't take it so hard, Jimmy. You didn't realize that at the time, so don't worry... We'll get outta this soon enough."

"Thanks, Alexis," Jimmy thanked her gratefully, still hard at work.

Putting her other arm around the chair on his other shoulder and massaging both, she added, "You worry too much! You've got a way too uptight mind with everything I've heard that seems to happen here in this town on a daily basis. You just need to take a few minutes each day to just relaaaax... Ooo, you're so tense! Let me fix that for you..."

For a few moments, he was quite shocked that the new girl was actually doing this to him, but he quickly got over that. Jimmy was soon revelling in every moment of it, even as he was able to remain completely focused on his work.

Cindy was a short distance off as this was happening. She couldn't see it, but she had a feeling something wasn't quite right in her perspective. So she called Goddard over and told him, "Goddard, perform a thermal scan of the area."

He barked and displayed a live thermal image of what was going on in the lab at that moment on his screen.

She scrutinized it carefully and thought, Let's see... Carl and Sheen are asleep out of boredom; Libby's jammin' to her music; Alexis is massaging Neutron's shoulders- WHAT?! Then she muttered, "Why, I oughtta...!"

But before she could go after her, Jimmy told Alexis, "I appreciate this a lot, and thanks, Alexis, but you can stop now. At this moment, I am fully relaxed."

"Okay, Jimmy, my sweet...," she agreed, and stepped away so he could finish what he started.

Okay, that's it! Cindy thought angrily, and marched right up to her. She grabbed a lock of her long hair and dragged her aside and out of hearing range while she yelped, "Ow, ow, ow, ow, OW...!!"

Once no one could hear them, she snapped at Alexis furiously, "Either you keep your mitts off Neutron, or you'll wish you were never BORN!!"

"I think I know what this is about," she told the invisible blonde preteen, "You're jealous! And by the way, why'd you drag me over here by my HAIR?!"

"It was the first thing I grabbed, thank you very much! And I am not jealous!!" Cindy protested frustratedly.

Libby, who couldn't help but overhear this conversation, walked up to them and informed Cindy, "Uh, yeah, you are, girl! If ya weren't, ya wouldn't have dragged her over here by her hair! Plus, ya wouldn't have been mad at her in the first place."

"Dang, I hate it when you prove me wrong like this...," Cindy muttered begrudgingly.

Sheen, who'd woken up when she was denying her jealousy and had heard the rest of the conversation since then, piped up and asked, "Hey, Cindy? Why are you so jealous of Alexis? Is it cuz she's prettier than you or..." He then raised his voice for everyone to hear him say the rest: "...cuz she has the HOTS for Jimmy??"

Luckily for Jimmy, he'd just then finished his work when he heard Sheen say that, so he didn't have to worry about continuing his work.

"First of all, I've found the culprit. It was Seymore, after all.

"Second of all, Sheen, you need to stay out of other people's business. Why ould you say that, anyway?!" he scolded him.

"Cuz she DOES, Jimmy!!" Sheen persisted.

He was about to walk over to her, then he remembered none of them could see eachother. So he went to another part of his lab to create something to help them out.

Minutes later, he returned with 6 long, flexible, colored glow sticks, each a different color.

"Wow, Neutron, ya created something else that's already been invented: glow stick necklaces," Cindy commented, noticing the glowing necklaces.

"What are the purpose of these things?" Libby wanted to know.

"To identify who's who," Jimmy calmly explained, "Carl will get orange; Libby, purple; Alexis, pink; Sheen, blue; Cindy, green; and I'll have red. Each of you, take your respective color." Then he fanned them out for their easy access.

They each took their respective color and fastened them around their necks, each of the necklaces glowing a bright, neon color.

"This is a brilliant idea, Neutron, but how are these different from ordinary glow sticks?" Cindy wanted to know, hers glowing a bright lime green.

"Unlike ordinary glow sticks, these will glow brightly, even in bright sunlight during the day! Plus, they will be noticable but dim when they're unfastened from around your necks," he replied informatively.

Then Jimmy remembered what Sheen announced several minutes earlier, so he walked over to Alexis and asked, identifying her by the hot pink necklace she wore, "Is this true, Alexis??"

"Is what tr- oh, that! What Sheen said, heh-heh!" she told him, laughing uneasily, then sighed happily and admitted, "Yes, it is true, Jimmy. You are the coolest guy I know, and that's why I am so in LOVE with you!!"

"I had no idea you felt this way about me! And after just one DAY of knowing me?!" he exclaimed, puzzled beyond belief.

"It may sound crazy, but it's true," she confessed, lovestruck, taking his hands in hers.

Why do I even bother?! Cindy thought begrudgingly, then spoke up and said, "So, it was Seymore, was it?! Well, let's teach him a lesson he is sure to NEVER, ever forget!!"

"Let's DO it!!" Sheen exclaimed, and all 6 of them high-5'ed at once. The deal was officially set, and Seymore Nimmelfarb was goin' DOWN!! That's what the gang believed, anyway...

I think, as the chapters progress, you'll gradually come to like her. I know this about 60% cuz I wrote it, and I'M the only one who knows what happens next! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Chapter 8: Starting to Wear Off


In another part of town, Seymore didn't feel fulfilled in his little prank. So he took it upon himself to get assistance in getting revenge against Jimmy and his friends, and he found this assistance from one of Jimmy's evilest arch enemies...

Meanwhile, the gang had stepped out of Jimmy's lab and were just hanging out near it, not sure what to do.

"So, we know who did it... How do we get back at him?" Libby wanted to know.

"Not sure yet...," Jimmy admitted with a shrug.

"Ya know, strangely enough, this may sound kinda perverted, but, uh, in a weird way, I'm starting to get used to being this way...," Cindy noted with a shudder.

"Whaddaya mean?! I sleep like this every night!" Alexis pointed out, "I'm TOTALLY used to it."

"Remind me never to invite you to a sleepover...," Libby told her, disgusted, "Unless ya bring somethin' t' wear!"

"That was a very bold statement, Alexis. I like it!" Jimmy complimented her.

"Okay, you're starting to freak me out, Neutron!!" Cindy gasped in shock, backing away from him with her hands held out in front of her.

"What now, Vortex?! You yourself just admitted you were getting used to this! In a weird way, I sort of am, too...," he protested, flushing deeply, even though no one could see him.

"Uh, Jimmy??" Sheen pointed out uneasily.

"Yeah, Sheen?" he replied.

"Is this supposed to happen?!" his hyperactive friend wanted to know, looking down at himself and seeing a faint, transparent, 3-dimensional outline of all his physical features.

Jimmy looked over at Sheen and saw what he meant. "D'oh, gas planet!" he groaned, slapping his forehead, "This canNOT be happening!!"

Sheen, starting to feel truly embarrassed for the first time that day, speed-ran to the nearest bush and hid to adequately cover himself where needed. Soon after that, his color, then his true 3-dimensional form was completely visible.

"Oh, it's happening alright, Jim! Look, the same thing's happening to you!" Carl noticed, pointing at Jimmy.

"YAAAAHHH!!!" he shrieked after seeing what Carl said was true, hurrying to where Sheen was and using that bush to cover himself.

Alexis soon afterward experienced the same thing, so she ran and hid behind a nearby tree. "Could this get any more embarrassing?!" she rhetorically asked.

Libby yelped and ran to hid her reappearing self, then exclaimed, "That would be a 'yes'!!"

When Cindy saw it was happening too her, too, she flew into the tree's branches and hid with just her head peeking out.

The last person it happened to was Carl, so he ran and hid in the bush Jimmy and Sheen were using.

Then Jimmy burst out rhetorically, "Can this get ANY worse?!!"


Now I know it looks kinda weird and wacky, but just STAY with me and I'll update as soon as I can! Trust me, their little "problem" that so embarrassing for them will be resolved in Chapter 11, so stay tuned!
