Resurrecting this topic because I feel like bitching about stuff I hate. And I'm sure most of you enjoy doing that, too.

My personal most hated movie of all time? The Santa Clause.

It would probaby make the most sense for me to go into WHY I hate it and how MUCH I hate it around Christmas time when they're playing it on television 24/7 and I have a desperate need to vent my frustrations to somebody in a constructive way instead of just getting infuriated and...and...and...an...

P.S. Katie, I despise Dumb and Dumber, but really like My Best Friend's Wedding. So I guess that means we have about a 50/50 chance of agreeing with eachother on movies. Fascinating.

No need to have a frustrated/annoyed smilie. Its all purely opinion. An opinion I happen to feel very strongly on, but still all opinion nonetheless. Please, by all means, continue to enjoy it. I'll dive deeper into my disgust for it later. I don't think I have the strength right now anyway. XD

I think that topic's still in the "Personal" section. I decided to resurrect this one instead because, even though the two are often interchangeable and confused, I think that one was supposed to be for what we considered to be the "worst movies ever" instead of our personal "least favorite/most hated" films ever. And there's a huge difference. I know this is titled "Worst Movies Ever", but then it specifically says its more for movies we don't like and became about that, so I thought it fit more. *shrugs* I read too much into stuff like this.

Also, I didn't first bring up The Human Centipede, someone else did. I just went on saying how I'm planning to see it anyway no matter how gross it may be. And I will. Someday. Probably with that guy who's still on my hook who loves those kinds of movies for some reason.

UGH, I freakin' HATE that movie. Makes me wanna yank my hair out.

The original movie was a beloved childhood staple. I watched to so often the tape nearly wore out.But then randomly ten years later, they decide to make sequels? With SINGING?!This is not a Saturday morning cartoon! This is a classic film that is being undermined by cheaply made copies that somehow got to bear its name!

I actually loved the Land Before Time Sequels (well, the first 5 anyway...after that, things just got ridiculous). I know people tend to only like the original, but that movie freaking broke my heart as a child, and I refused to watch it ever again. In fact, I might even be willing to say that I hate the original. Give me singing dinosaurs over horrible mother death scenes any day

I think my new least favorite movie is probably Furry Vengeance. WORST. FILM. EVER.

I actually do not think it did EVERYTHING bad. I think it actually did a lot of things RIGHT. But there is just one (or maybe one and a half) element(s) that they did HORRIBLY that makes me SICK that I won't go into right now, but it totally kills the movie for me. GOD!

Oh, and Mara, I don't care if the original The Land Before Time is extremely sad and tore our hearts to pieces as children, at least its not stupid like most of the sequels. I'd take intelligence with sadness to happy stupidity any day.

They're not actually stupid. I watched them again recently, and while they're definitely aimed at a younger crowd, they don't pander as much as a lot of kid movies I've seen. Plus, as a dinosaur nut myself, I really enjoy watching how they interpret the personalities and abilities of different species.

Like the pair of Struthiomimus guys from the second movie - Ozzie and Strut. One only wants eggs, one's cool with vegetation, and they fight about it...it's like some weird parody of omnivorous behavior. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I remember noticing a lot of clever little things that, as a dino fanatic, made me really happy.
