I love Where the Wild Things Are. My absolutely favorite book and I completely spazzed when I saw that they were making into a movie.

I love that they're turning that book into a movie as well. It looks like it's going to be a good one, and I especially love that the main character is a "mad scientist" type. I absolutely love nerdy scientists. *sigh*

I loved good ol' Junie B., and Goosebumps, Harry Potter, umm Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Shel Silverstein, Series of Unfortunate Events, and for some strange reason, the Phantom Tollbooth. Oh and Narnia, I suppose, and . . .
This list will go on forever, so I'll just start it.

I loved the Junie B Jones books too! Did everyone here read them or something? I never met any other kids from my school that liked them.

I also loved the Pony Pal books. There were sooooo many of them. I read about 20, but there were at least twice that.

Judy Moody was another favorite of mine. All three of them.

And then of course Harry Potter when I decided to read the books at the end of fourth grade.

Also Zach's Lie by Roland Smith.

Any books I read after 5th grade I do not consider childhood favs.

Why "and for some strange reason"? Phantom Tollbooth was awesome.

Oh, I LOVED Phantom Tollbooth. One of my favorite school-forced books. My brother had to read it over last summer and I couldn't understand why he hated it. XDD And I loved The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, too.

Also, I just remembered, The Westing Game. Definitely my favorite school-forced book, and it was the same grade as the Phantom Tollbooth. :D
