Yeah, I agree. Cindy should TOTALLY be with Jimmy... eventually. lol I believe Betty should stick with Nick. He's the same age as her. (I think...)

Ok, I appreciate all the respecting going on here for J/B people, but I have to say, Nick does NOT make a good boyfriend for Betty at all. I'd much rather have her with an OC if she must be with someone in fanfics & such.

But take a lok at Nick's general personality, or at least what we see of him in episodes & the movies. If he keeps this up, that ganster kick might turn into something, & I can't stand the idea of Betty being with someone like that, she deserves someone much better in my eyes.

I have nothing against Nick, he's a good character IMO, & I don't believe the ganster thing will really go anywhere, but in case it would, I just can't like the pairing idea at all.

I personally see him & Brittany (blond with pigtails) working much better anyways. Granted, there is the fangirl factor there on Brittany's part, but I just can't like the idea of him & Betty, so I'd rather have the Brittany idea.

Sorry Emily, I mean no offense, its just the one slightly-canon pairing of Betty's that I can't stand much at all. :unsure:

I don't dislike Betty as a character, but I don't think there is enough there for a serious relationship or anything. It's more like a guys first crush on the prettiest girl in school.

I agree with Betty not working out with Nick. In fanfictions that I plan on writing, I might pair her up with Nick just for the lack of a better character in the seiers, but I prefer Brittany and Nick more. :)

But I will openly express my distaste for extreme Betty and Nick bashing. Why is it that almost every fanfic makes Nick an abusive boyfriend, rapist, druggie, smoker, or a football player?

I don't think he's the football type, really. I think he'll continue to be a skater boy. And just because Nick is popular in the class doesn't mean he's going to be this awful person as a teen or adult or whatever. Yeah, he's a little full of himself and just a bit too concerned about his coolness status, but what makes everyone think he's going to be a smoker druggie who rapes Cindy in his free time? Seriously...

I think Nick will be a good guy when he gets older. Not the best, because he's just the teeniest bit shallow, but I think overall he'll be a good person.

Same with Betty. She's not some stone hearted bitchy man eater, guys. Sorry to break it to ya. She's genuinely kind, and we've never seen her use guys for anything. I don't understand why so many people hate her.

I understand not liking Betty and Nick, but I don't think they deserve to be hated. They're good kids. Stop making them horrible.

I've come to like the idea of Betty's sweetness and kindness helping Nick to get over his slight narcism, getting a better person. Corny stuff like that, blame me! :lol: Just got to think about it recently.

I don't see him as a women abuser either.

Actually, for me, Nick will always be a total loser at heart, I can't help it. He'd never have the guts to kill/rape/abuse/kidnap anyone.

Everytime I want to see him raping anyone O_O I see him singing for that Twonkie. Please?!

I never liked the idea of NB so much, since I couldn't see any connection other than that both are quite attractive, but still...somehow it'd be interesting if Betty actually was so turned off by his cocky behavior, Nick would come to change for her a bit...

Because of where she's taller than everyone, including Sheen a little bit. Also she seems to act just a tad more mature than the others, only one that seems to be as mature as she is, or closest to is Jimmy.

& I'm not saying this because I think they'd make a great couple, I'm merely saying for Betty's character. :)

But she's also never seen in Jimmy's school room as a classmate, which would mean unless Retroville Elementary runs separate classrooms of the same grade level, Betty would be older, & the oldest she could be is 12 & in 6th grade, because Jimmy & co (except for S/L, who are one year older as of Tomorrow Boys) are in 5th grade & are each 11 years old.

Of course, either of us could be right, so respecting opinions, then? :)

Realistically speaking, Libby wouldn't be 12 though. If she's in fifth grade, and her birthday is December 11th, like Keith said it was, then she would be turning either ten or eleven.

But she turned eleven, which is proven in Lights, Camera, Danger, which comes after Tomorrow Boys.

We know Sheen is older because he's been held back before.

And Betty could still be in fifth grade, but be in a different class. Most schools do that. I doubt the entire fifth grade would only have 20 people.
