Oh, for heaven's sake.. seems like its just myself & Urvy these days.

You'd think I'd have talked bad about J/C & Cindy on here by now, but I still haven't.

We were just exchanging a few thoughts on here. It's nothing bad if someone says Betty and Jimmy aren't meant to be as well if someone says Cindy and Jimmy aren't. It's just a point of view.
Well, so there aren't a lot of JB shippers left anymore apparently, but is that so important? It's your ship and it means something to you. And that's absolutely fine. As Pigquet said, it's kinda outstanding to be so loyal to the ship all this time! ^_^

You just can't convert JC shippers to JB shippers out of the blue and neither the opposite way round. I think that's fine. *shruggs*

Well, I just meant like a "wow.. we're definitely the only ones left I guess now..." kind of thing, not bad, just.. a little sad that there's so many canon & pretty much just two of us left on the boards themselves.

S' funny that almost everyone seems to love all the other canon pairings, that's true. I've never heard anyone saying: Wow I hate SL with passion!

I chose Cindy Vortex, mainly because there's a LOT more eps with her & Jimmy interacting than there are J/B ones. I mean, Betty's, I think, 2 years older than Jimmy! He's 11, & she's 13! Besides, she's just a crush he has. He mainly uses that to cover up his DEEPER crush on Cindy, at least, that's what I think. I honestly believe that Jimmy & Cindy make a cuter couple than J/B. No offense to all you J/B-supporters out there! I don't wanna start a catfight! :catfight: I just think they look great together! I mean, I ONLY believe Cindy crushes on Nick to cover up the fact that she's in LOVE with Jimmy. We see their relationship blossom in Stranded, & they finally give in & kiss in LSTN. See?? This PROVES that Jimmy & Betty are JUST friends, just as Cindy & Nick are. Like I just said, the J/C relationship is MUCH stronger than the J/B or the C/N one, simply because you don't see many eps with Cindy & Nick together, same with Jimmy & Betty. On the other hand, Cindy goes on MANY more of the gang's adventures than does Betty or Nick. And Jimmy probably only goes on them because HE'S the one who caused the mishap or whatever!

What? It's true, & I'm a truly dedicated J/C fan. Sure, I wish they'd renew the series & do at least a 4th season, but I can't control Nickelodeon, & neither can any of you. For those of you in America like me, there's always the Nicktoons Network that shows it sometimes! That effin' Nick gets on my nerves SO much! I truly respect that pairing, & I hope it continues to blossom within the fandom here on IDOJ! I support JN with ALL my heart, & I'd HATE to see the site/show eventually be erased from existence!!! But I'm sure he'll always be within our hearts & minds; heck, he's PERMANENTLY etched on MINE!!!!! That's why I ADORE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 J/Am 4-ever!!!!

I was always a J/C, although I don't mind J/B. I think it's because in Season 3 they have more moments together... Besides, asgamegrl75 said:

Although to be fair, we didn't see much of Betty... :( She seems like a nice girl, which is why I feel uncomfortable in Betty-bashing fics...

Personally, I don't think Betty is any older.

If you look at her when she stands next to some of the other girls, from Miss Fowl's class for instance, she's only barely taller. That makes me think she's either the same age as them or only 1 year older.

Whereas Jimmy is short for his age, so when you see them standing next to one another, she seems older just coz of the height difference.

Plus, I don't think Betty is a horrible girl or whatever like a lot of fics like to make her. I just think the fans see Cindy's perception of her and we all know she doesn't like her one bit.

I agree with Kaz. I always thought Betty was maximum 1 year older or in a different class. It happens.

I think most J/C Lovers empathize with Cindy too much, and that's why Betty's often depicted as a villainess and bashed when it comes to J/C fics. I personally like her (although preferably not with Jimmy). She seems sweet...

Yeah, I agree. Cindy should TOTALLY be with Jimmy... eventually. lol I believe Betty should stick with Nick. He's the same age as her. (I think...)

I wish they developed her more as a character. She seems sweet. She's the anti-Cindy (the opposite of Cindy, not against Cindy), but she's too often portrayed as the object of someone's affections.

I think Betty is that Miss Popular everyone idealized, but not quite what everyone expected. Whereas we know how Cindy behaves and what pushes her buttons, Betty is a pretty, sweet face who's distant. I'd like J/B more if there was more real interaction rather than Jimmy worshipping (what I see as) an idealized Betty.

But no Betty-bashing for me.
