Ha! Who needs GUNS with abilities like mine?! *rolls eyes sarcastically* I can disintegrate these doors in no time! *hands glow brightly, then the doors fall to the ground in a large pile of really fine dust*

Snazzo puts his hands over his head against the blasting of the door.

"Drat," he says, climbing up more stairs.

(He didn't lock himself in a room, Emily. He just tried to lock you guys in the dungeon. )

I grin.
"Bad-ass, Ed!" I say, charging up the steps after Snazzo, firing shots aimed at his legs, attempting to trip him up.

[Beks]

Snazzo trips at the top of the stairs as a shot hits him in the back of the leg. With a girlish scream, he curls up into a ball, holding his leg tenderly. It seems as if he has forgot all about the NKs on his tail.

I stop when I reach him, pulling the leg out of his hand and catering to the wound. After the bullet is out, I bandage it and lift him up so that his stomach rests on one of my shoulders.
"Got him!"

[Beks]

Suddenly, with a snap of his fingers, Snazzo dematerializes from Issac's shoulder and pops back up at the top of the stairs.

"You fools aren't through with me yet," he threatens. With another finger snap, he disappears in a puff of smoke. A whisper is heard through the dark. "I'll be back..."

Down below, screams from the children rise up to our heroes, chilling them.

I swear loudly, sprinting back down the steps.

Snazzo was gone. Wonderful.

The kids were screaming. Horrible.

I ran after Isaac.

A mob of children, led by the first boy, burst through the blasted door, screaming in joy and freedom as they run past Issac and Macey up the stairs and into the main room.

(scared ya, didn't I? :P )

I watched as they ran out the room, and smiled.

But then I remembered; The woman! We needed to find her daughter. I scanned the crowd, looking for a girl with any resemblance to her.

"HOLY SONOFABALL" I yell out, carried by the mass wave of kids into the room.I scan the room for the woman's daughter, frowning as I fall down.
"OW."

[Macey]

I laughed, helping Isaac up. Anybody see that woman's daughter?" I yelled to everyone else.

(PLOT BEKS. xD)

Suddenly, a little girl tugged at Macey's leg. She looked exactly like the begger woman.

"Have you seen my mommy?" she asked her quietly. "Something tells me that you have."

I spot her.
"Macemace, look down!"

"There she is!" I tell my fellow NKs, then inform the girl, "Don't worry, sweetie, we'll find your mother soon!" ;)

Edward, though shaking at the knees, looking pallid and seeming rather close to passing out, nonetheless found the strength to elbow Anna and 'ahem' meaningfully, furrowing his brows and frowning at her.

She had just spoken an empty reassurance; the girl's mother was dead--they had watched it happen.
