Wow what an intense story, Emily!

This story only has three chapters and already it's making me be on the edge of my chair!

Sure! I will as soon as I have the next chapter copied! I can promise you that!! And, I can assure you, my right hand will be a LOT stronger than my left by the time I finish my fic! There's NO denying that! That's cuz each chapter is rather long, & the final one is a WHOPPER! I'll just stop yapping so I can start copying Chapter 4, then I'll be posting it, k? ;)

Chapter 4: Sorting It Out
(Jimmy's POV)


After I'd promised to keep what had happened a secret, I walked back into the boys' cabin, only to have Sheen begging to know what was going on. "Jimmy, I know something's up, cuz you acted REAL guilty of something ever since the scavenger hunt ended! I could tell cuz of the look on your face, same with Cindy! Somethin' is going on, and I'm gonna find out what!" asserted, getting close to getting up in my face. Talk about RUDE!

"Yeah, Jim!" Carl agreed, "What was up with the sudden invention-building just now? Is there something you're trying to hide?"

"Okay, guys. You caught me," I admitted, taking a seat on the edge of my bed, "I cannot tell a lie. I-."

"Since WHEN?!" Sheen interrupted, "You've lied before, although not often, in sticky situations! That proves-!"

"SHEEN!!" Carl interjected, "Don't be rude! Let Jimmy finish what he was saying!"

"Thank you, Carl!" I continued, "As I was saying, that love potion I had made was spilled on me because SOMEONE tripped me, causing me to think I was a married man and to do things only married couples are supposed to do! It did the same thing to Cindy, as well!!!"

Gasping, Carl exclaimed, "You mean-?!"

"Yes, Carl. That's what she and I did together, and NOW, thanks to me, and ultimately, the potion, but mostly me because you both know I have a crush on her in the first place, Cindy's pregnant! Oh, my parents are gonna ground me 'till I'm 30, they'll be so mad!!! I could have her consider abortion- oh, gas planet! What AM I thinking?? That's a new life that's just been started! To end it would be murder!! This is ONE sticky situation that I can't weasel myself out of!" I told them frantically, resting my chin in my palms with a sigh.

"Well, you're gonna have to tell your parents sometime," Carl pointed out, "Cuz Cindy's belly will get big in about 5 months and that'll get her mom and your parents thinking! Sure, they'll be mad, but they can't stay mad at you forever! Pretty soon, I'm sure they'll be happy about the fact that they'll soon be grandparents!"

"You're right, Carl!" I said with a smile. Then I pressed a button on my watch and contacted Goddard, saying, "Goddard, get to Camp Fun-For-All as fast as you can! This is URGENT!"

He barked his reply and within 20 minutes, he arrived at our cabin. I let him inside and commanded, "Goddard, phone, please!"

He tossed me one of his ears that served as a phone. I dialed my home phone number and waited for my mom to pick up. It rang twice, then her voice resounded on the other line, saying, "Hello, Jimmy! Having a good time at camp?"

"I guess, but there's something important I need to discuss with you, Mom," I informed her in a serious voice.

"What is it, dear? You better not have caused another intergalactic catastrophe again!" she warned.

"It's not that, Mom. It's worse!" I told her.

Her voice got firm as she asked, "What is it, Jimmy?"

I then explained to her what happened that day, from Sheen tripping me and spilling the love potion on me to the confirmed results of my newest invention's pregnancy tests on Cindy and how they came back positive.

"James Isaac Neutron, I'm very disappointed in you, but that didn't give Sheen the right to trip you and spill the potion all over you. Have you considered abortion?" Mom questioned.

"Yes, but that would be another loss of human life just as it was started. That, to me, is considered murder!" I stated fervently.

"Well, there's no sense in going in that direction, is there?"

"No, Mom, there isn't. On the bright side, you and Dad are gonna be grandparents in about 9 months! So is Mrs. Vortex!" I encouraged.

"That's true, dear! We will be," Mom verified, then told me, "Thanks for telling me this! Have a good time at camp!"

"I will, Mom! Bye!" I said.

"Bye, dear!" she replied, and hung up at the same time I did.

"So, how'd it go?" Sheen wanted to know.

"She's disappointed mainly in you for tripping me, but she seemed excited about becoming a grandparent!" I told them.

"How's Mrs. Vortex gonna take it?" Carl asked.

"I don't know, Carl, but I have a feeling she'll probably react the same way as my mom did!" I informed them confidently.

Wow, that was the fastest time I've ever posted a long chapter like this! I hope you liked it! Millie, could you tell other people about this, so they'll keep replying, too? It would be much appreciated! :bff:

I could do without the whole "made out" thing, but I laughed at that. :lol:

Other than that this is shaping up to be a REALLY good fic. Kinda "adult-like" but very funny.

Writing a chapter with Jimmy on abortion isn't something you see everyday. But you wrote it so well, it feels like abortion ISN'T something Jimmy believes in. So yeah, you made a VERY tense subject so easily into.. well... something he doesn't believe in.

MAJOR props for that.

Yay, you updated!

(OK, I'm sorry, but I have to point a few things out.)

Oh, my mom's gonna kill me when she finds out what I did! I mean, I haven't even started puberty yet! Oh, man! I'm dead meat for SURE!!!" With that, she covered her face with her hands and sobbed.

"It came out positive," she barely whispered, "I'm *gulp* pregnant!"

One: if you haven't started puberty, there is NO WAY you can get pregnant.

Two: you won't know whether you are pregnant really quickly.

I also imagined Judy to be a little angrier, but that's OK.

Grammar and punctuation is excellent (as far as I can tell), as always. And excellent explaining. I didn't quite get it the first time. :)

Also, it would be helpful if we knew their ages. :)

Anyways, kudos for updating! You're awesome like that.

Actually, Sue, I have a backfire to your first comment about it. Someone in real life that was YOUNGER than Cindy(she's 11, and so's Jimmy) got pregnant at 9 years from an 8 year old boy in 1910! I read it in a book once.

@second comment: See, that's the beauty of Jimmy being a genius! He can invent ANYTHING that can DO anything he wants it to do, and I mean anything!!! Second of all, it's a cartoon, and anything can happen in a cartoon!

Chapter 5: Admitting the Truth
(Cindy's POV)


I'd almost forgotten about what had happened that day until we heard a knock at the door. I answered it, and Jimmy happened to be at the door. The potion's effects on me had worn off by that time. "What do you want, Nerd-tron?" I asked, annoyed.

"Vortex, have forgotten what's happened today?" he wanted to know.

"Oh, crud! I totally forgot!" I groaned, slapping my forehead, "My mom's gonna KILL me when she finds out!!!"

Libby walked over to us and said reassuringly, "You don't know that, Cindy! All you have to do is give her a call and tell her!"

"Libby's right!" Jimmy agreed, "You never know unless you try!"

"Well, why not? After all, she'll get over it soon enough!" I told them, whipping out my cell phone and dialing my mom's number. I noticed that Jimmy was still standing in the doorway, so I motioned for him to come in while I waited for my mom to answer. He did, and he sat on the floor against one of the bottom bunk beds.

After a few seconds of waiting, she answered by saying, "Hello, Cindy. How's camp?"

"It's okay. But there's something I gotta tell you, and I'll only tell you if you promise not to freak out when I say it, okay?" I informed her.

"Oh, come on, Cindy! Try me! How bad can it be??" she wanted to know.

"Okay, here goes!" I said. I took a deep breath and admitted, "I'm pregnant."

"You're WHAT?? Cindy, you promised me this would never happen until you married!!! HOW did this happen?!" I could hear her breathing heavily in the background.

I then explained to her every single detail of how it happened, from Sheen tripping Jimmy and spilling the potion all over him to Jimmy's invention's pregnancy test results. She was silent for about 2 minutes, then she told me, "Does anyone else know about this?"

"Well, Neutron obviously knows about it, then I told Libby, and I don't think anyone else about it, Mom" I stated matter-of-factly.

"Good. I'm glad you did the right thing and told me about this. To tell you the truth, I'm rather excited about becoming a grandmother!" she admitted.

"Good to know, Mom, good to know," I replied, then said, "Bye, Mom! Talk to you later!" Then I hung up.

"Well? How'd she react?" Libby asked.

"At first, she was all freaked out about it, but once I explained what happened in the first place, her voice got calm as she told me that she was proud that I did the right thing by telling her what happened," I explained. Then I had a thought. "Neutron, do your parents know about this?" I warily asked him.

"Yeah, they do, but they're glad I told them the truth about what happened," he calmly replied.

"Do Carl and Sheen know about this?" Libby added suspiciously.

"Yes, Libby, but they're sworn to secrecy!" Jimmy reassured us.

"Well, I should hope so!" Libby said, a suspicious look in her eye.

I saw it and reassured her, "Don't worry, Libs! No one in this camp knows but us! And I'm willing to make sure that it stays that way!"

Britney happened to look up from writing in her diary and ask, "No one knows about what?"

I could feel myself blushing as I told her, "Nothing, Britney!"

"You're, like, blushing! You're hiding something, and, like, I want to know what it is!" she pointed out.

I relented and admitted, "I'm pregnant, BUT, you have to promise the camp counselors WON'T find out, or any campers that may happen to arrive late!!! GOT it??"

"My lips are, like, so totally sealed! By the way, who's the, like, father-to-be?" she wanted to know.

I sheepishly pointed to Jimmy, who blushed and admitted, "That's me."

"You are, like, one lucky guy, Jimmy!" Britney commented, which made him blush even more. Then she added, "Your secret is, like, safe with me, Cindy!"

"I'm glad to hear it, Britney!" I confidently replied.


The next chapter will be on its way soon! I hope you enjoyed chapter 5! Lol, I know some people in my family who had puberty at eight. It's called precocious puberty, where they get puberty EXTREMELY early. And you can't have babies until you reach biological (I use biological for lack of a better word) maturity (i.e. puberty). I would explain it to you, science freak that I am, but that's besides the point (and I'm afraid I'd get banned from IDOJ for all the colorful terminology).

ANYWAYS, for Chapter 5:

I think I enjoyed this chapter the most. And I also think how it's funny that despite the big secrecy, everyone's finding out. Talk about irony.

Although I don't think Sasha would be happy about her pregnant 11-year old daughter... But Sasha would be proud of a perfect daughter.

Anyways, I'm glad you continued! :D

Chapter 6: More Campers Arrive
(Libby's POV)


We were all exhausted from the day's events, so after eating supper and prepping ourselves for bed, we all hit the hay and fell asleep within minutes.

The next morning, we woke up around 7:30. It would be 30 more minutes until Lindsey came in to wake us up. We were rather embarrassed the previous day when she woke us up, so we decided to get up 30 minutes early. To make sure of it, I set my alarm clock I'd brought with me to go off at that time.

I got up out of bed and walked sleepily to the window, rubbing my eyes. When I was fully awake, I was surprised to find that the bus had stopped in the parking lot and other kids walked out of it. Surprisingly, they were all kids I recognized from school. "Wait a minute!" I exclaimed, "I thought no one else but us got those acceptance forms! What's goin' on, here?!"

Cindy climbed down the ladder and walked groggily over to me with a yawn, saying, "What's the matter, Libs?"

Pointing out the window, I told her, "Cindy, do any of those kids look familiar to ya??"

"Why, yes, they do, Libby! There's Butch, Oleander, Nick, Miss Betty-Boring, Nissa, and Courtney! Think there's enough room in here for 3 more girls?" she wanted to know.

"Of course there is! There's 3 bunk beds in this joint! They're walking up to our cabin with their luggage!" I pointed out.

"Like, I can see that, Libby," Britney said, getting dressed into a light pink miniskirt and a sky blue tank top.

They soon walked into our cabin and made themselves at home.

"So, Cindy," Betty asked, "You enjoying camp so far? Anything exciting or unusual, or even life-changing, happen yet?"

Cindy blushed deeply and said quickly, "Nope, nothing out of the ordinary, Betty. I'm just your usual, non-pregnant teen!" She laughed nervously while saying that.

"Woah, woah, woah, woah! Hold up, girl! Usually, when someone acts like that, they're hiding something they don't want anyone else to know about! Is there something you'd like to tell me, or, more importantly, us?" Betty suspiciously asked, setting up her bed on one of the top bunks.

It seemed like Britney couldn't hold it in any longer because she blabbed, "She, like, just doesn't want you to know that she, like, made out with Jimmy and got pregnant! Oops!" When she realized she said that, she covered her mouth with both hands and gasped.

Betty, Nissa, and Courtney gasped at once. "You didn't!" Nissa exclaimed.

"Yep, she did," I sarcastically commented, rolling my eyes.

I could tell that Cindy was kinda ticked, cuz she snapped sarcastically, "Right! Tell the whole world, why don't you, Britney?!"

"I'm, like, sorry, Cindy, okay?? I was too excited and I wasn't, like, thinking!" Britney hastily apologized.

"It's okay, Brit. Everyone gets carried away sometimes," Cindy reassured her, then warned, "Just don't tell the camp counselors, or you won't live to see your next birthday! Understood??"

"Point, like, taken, Cindy!" Britney promised.

"I wonder if the word was accidentally blabbed to the rest of the boys in the boys' cabin...," I pondered aloud, looking through the side window at the boys' cabin.
