Chapter 20: Problems Solved!


"So, what's the big plan, Jimmy?" Sheen wanted to know, trying his best to shake Carl awake.

"Watch and learn, guys!" Jimmy reassured them, then turned to Goddard and instructed, "Goddard, use your laser vision to cut a large hole in the cage bars!"

He barked and did just that.

The gang ran out of it and started to scatter, but Jimmy got their attention and called them over to him, saying in a low tone, "Guys, we have to work together to get out of this, so follow my lead! Now, step out of Goddard's way, please!"

"Neutron, I-," Cindy started to say, but Jimmy interrupted her and ordered, "I said GO, Vortex!!"

"Okay, jeez, Nerd-Bomb!! I get it!" she protested, backing away from Goddard with him and the others.

"Thank you. Goddard, play dead!" Jimmy told his robotic canine. Goddard immediately exploded and reassembled himself in an instant. The smoke from his explosion drifted up to the overhead sprinklers on the ceiling of the factory, triggering them to automatically start spraying everything underneath them with water, including the sensitive robots that Evil Jimmy had created, which instantly rusted and dropped to the floor when the water hit them. This halted the production of the altered Purple Flurp, which, as can be imagined, made Evil Jimmy madder than ever!

"Okay, Whippy-dip! You're officially getting on my last nerve!! I'm not through with you YET!!!" he shouted at his good-natured counterpart, leaping out of his seat and charging at him. But Jimmy, as usual, had a plan for this evil villain. First, he pulled one of his Porta-Portals out of his hypercube and placed it behind him and the gang, then hollered at his evil clone tauntingly, saying, "Yo, bozo! We're over here, you lunatic!! Jeez, for an evil genius like you, ya sure are acting stupid! Dumb clone can't even walk in a straight line!!" He placed the thumbtips of his outstretched hands on his cheeks, wiggled his fingers, stuck out his tongue, and blew a strawberry at him for good measure.

"FYI, I had a rusted robot covering my eyes that was flying but fell onto my face!" Evil Jimmy yelled, flinging the rusted robot off his eyes, "Now, I'm after YOU!!!" With that, he started charging at Jimmy, full speed.

But Jimmy was thinking ahead, and pressed a button on his watch and teleported him and the gang to safety. Before Evil Jimmy could stop himself, he fell face-first into the portal, and exited it right above the mouth of a black hole. He struggled against its immense gravity, but since nothing, not even light itself, can escape a black hole, he wasn't able to escape and was doomed to be crushed under its gravity forever while Jimmy and the gang were safe.

Now Jimmy could focus on curing himself and de-hypnotizing the entire world...

Chapter 21: Finishing Unfinished Business


When the gang was teleported to safety, they ended up right next to Jimmy's rocket.

"Okay, now that my evil clone's officially defeated, we need to find what we came here for," Jimmy explained a few moments later.

"Oh, oh! I know! I know!! Is it ice cream?!" Sheen guessed, jumping up and down.

"NO, Ultra-Geek!! We need to find a king cobra so we can cure Neutron!!! UUUGGH!!!!" Cindy groaned, slapping her forehead in disgust.

"AHA! I don't get it...," he said, shrugging.

She just rolled her eyes and groaned. Sheen could be such an idiot!

Libby sighed patiently and told Sheen, "We have to get venom from a snake to mix with other stuff to cure Jimmy, Sheen."

"Oh, okay," he admitted.

"So, where are we gonna find one, Jimmy?" Carl wanted to know.

"Don't worry, Carl," Jimmy reassured his friend, "Goddard can find one in no time at all! Then I'll use an invention of mine to extract the venom harmlessly. Once that's over, we can head back to my lab so I can create the antidote I need, then focus on stopping the world's mind-control from the Purple Flurp my evil clone created."

"Sounds like a great plan, Jim!" Carl agreed.

"Thanks, Carl," he thanked him, then turned to Goddard and instructed, "Goddard, locate the nearest king cobra, please!"

Goddard barked and displayed on his screen that there was one about one mile from the gang, hiding under a rock.

"Good boy! Lead us to it!" Jimmy additionally told him, then motioned for the gang to follow him as he ordered, "C'mon, guys! Follow me!"

Goddard barked and led the group to the cobra's location.

When they got there, Jimmy instructed firmly, "Cindy, step away from that rock carefully!! You're standing right on top of the snake's hideout!!!"

Cindy very cautiously stepped off of it and walked away from it about 10 feet.

Goddard walked over to the rock and lifted it with his robotic arm. There the cobra sat, coiled up and reared back, displaying its hood and mouth agape, hissing ready to to stricke at any given moment. He used the robotic arm to hold the snake's head against the ground.

Jimmy then used his Venom-Extractor, which looked like a hi-tech fishing pole with a small suction cup at the tip, to harmlessly extract a sufficient amount of venom from the cobra without harming it. Then he let it go and let it slither away, unharmed.

He slipped the device into this his hypercube and led the gang back to his rocket. They all climbed in and Jimmy manned the controls. To his surprise, they were no longer mysteriously frozen! My evil clone must've done that previously, but, since he's gone, they aren't frozen anymore! he realized with a big grin on his face. He started it up and brought the gang back to Retroville, yet another step closer to solving the biggest problem ever...

Wow! Evil Jimmy is back in that dimension and Jimmy and the guys are only steps closer to saving the world.

Um, he actually was sucked into a black hole from a portal... I guess you must've read it too fast or something... Anyway, this last chapter is kinda short cuz I only had a few pages left in my 6" x 6.5" spiral notebook... Hope you enjoy it, tho! :thumbsup:

Chapter 22: We Did It!


When they got back to Jimmy's lab, they saw that Jesse was still mind-controlled.

Carl noticed this and told him, "Hey, Jimmy? Aren't you gonna stop Jesse's and the rest of the world's mind-control effects yet??"

"In a minute, Carl," he replied, "My life is still at risk from that foreign chemical, so I'm currently creating an antidote I need for it." Within 10 minutes, he finished it. Jimmy poured it into a beaker and gulped it down to the last drop.

"Jimmy, look at your computer screen!" Sheen gasped, pointing at VOX's screen.

He looked and exclaimed, a huge grin on his face, "Guys, that means I'm cured!!" The countdown had disappeared!

Everyone in the lab cheered except for Jesse, because she was still mind-controlled.

Right afterwards, Jimmy got right to work on a device that would de-hypnotize the whole world at once. He was done within 20 minutes. Cindy and Libby followed the rest of the gang outside while dragging Jesse so she could be cured, too.

He pressed a button on it that send a giant force field around the earth to cure everyone mind-controlled. It worked right away, and Jesse snapped out of it immediately.

"Thanks, Jimmy!" she thanked him, and blew him a kiss while walking back to Cindy and Libby.

While Jimmy and Goddard went to the Purple Flurp factory to correct the process, Libby, Cindy, Sheen, Carl, and Jesse waited for his return. While they waited, Libby told Jesse, "Girl, I don't care what color yo' hair is. I'd like you to be our BFF!" Cindy nodded in agreement.

"Aw, thanks, you guys!!" Jesse exclaimed, and hugged both girls at once, who immediately returned the favor. Cindy and Libby had a new best friend: Jesse Taylor! And that new girl had new BFF's who were sure to last her entire life!

If this character named Jessica Taylor was apart of the regular series.. I'd see a love triangle. Heh, and if you ever have writer's block...

 

well if you still do, all you have to do is read about three or four hours and you're in the "zone" I have many problems while writing... Eh,
